[ Action/Video ] (A bit backdated!)

[ Shortly after dropping Satsuki in a ditch somewhere (read: going their separate ways), Lucy and Natsu continued on to drop off their bounty to get their pay before heading home. Lucy deliberately picked a path that skirted away from where the building that the guild was supposed to be in, was. In fact, the apartment she'd picked out was even further away from the guild building than the inn was.

Speaking of apartments - she tucked the cloaks she received under an arm (or passed them over to Natsu if he wanted to hold them for a moment) and turned on her device, the video feed showing a slightly scuffed up but smiling blonde. ]

Those smugglers that were harassing the unicorns were taken care of - thankfully. Hopefully no one else gets it in their head to bother them- and hopefully the unicorns themselves have learned their lesson about going near people. I'm sure they did. Anyway, got some neat new magic cloaks out of the mission - that was a nice surprise!

Oh, Wendy, Levy, just thought I'd let you know, but I've moved out of the Inn. I'm staying in an apartment on the edge of town.

[ So if they go looking for her at the Inn and don't see her, that'd be why. That'd also be why a certain other Dragonslayer won't be there. That message passed, she closed the phone and tucked it into her pocket before glancing at her partner. ]

Before we head back, I want to stop and pick up some things. [ Bandages and such mainly. For obvious reasons. ]

[Natsu was carrying the cloaking cloak and messing around by making various parts of him disappear for his own entertainment. It was oddly fun.]

Huh? Okay where do we have to go pick up those things then?

[Since with injuries as light as that he thought a quick visit to Wendy would not be too much trouble.]

[Levy flicks on the screen, a sleepy blink and then a smile. There are a pile of books stacked behind her though the familiar backdrop doesn't exactly say where Levy is. She hasn't been back at the inn in awhile, since she's opened her store she's been busy trying to get things started.]

You moved? When?

[She hasn't noticed and that knot of guilt in her chest tightened.]

[ Lucy couldn't even complain - she was the one that gave the cloaks to him to hold. Although it occurred to her that an invisibility cloak would be a dangerous in his hands if he ever thought about sneaking up on her. Not that he needed one if he wanted to spook her. ]

There's a store just down the road that does business with Genessia for people who don't walk all that way. We can pick it up there.

[ She didn't want to pester Wendy for something so minor, anyway. She didn't ask for the cloaks back though, watching him goof off with a faint smile. ]

[ Honestly she'd thought Levy was avoiding her, after the way their conversation went at the beach. She wouldn't have blamed her. ]

When? Ah, almost a week ago. I ...would have said something sooner, but it's been busy with taking bounties and moving.

[Well he might still make use of it for a prank. The opportunity is too good to pass up. For now though he's satisfied with all the little experiments he's doing.]

Oh that place? I think I know the one. Okay lets get our asses over there.

[Naturally he's aware of Lucy's light injuries. The fact that he's not freaking out about them is proof of how light they are.]

[ Oh dear lord. Even knowing there's an invisibility cloak she'd still shriek if he walked around with his head covered and 'missing'. ]

Right~!

[ Easy enough to do, and they were in luck with it actually being open. Though Lucy actually wound up getting some aspirins as well. Sometimes herbal remedies just didn't cut it. She even found herself picking up some children's medicine, almost on instinct before she rejoined Natsu. ]

All set~! Let's head home.

[ ... it still felt weird calling it that, with him living with her. And yet natural at the same time. ]

[It didn't feel all that weird to Natsu. Especially given they had already shared the same room since coming to this world. So of course sharing a bigger space and calling it home was just the natural next step.]

Sounds like a plan to me~

[He says and puts away the cloak at last with the rest and stops playing with it.]

[ Shh, don't call it that to her. She'd get all kinds of flustered, thinking about next steps. Still as he followed along with her, she tucked the bag of medicinal goodies under an arm, smiling. ]

Y'know, I just realized I never decided on what my prize would be, when we were on the beach.

[ Except Herb made that win. Would his prize be soup bones? ]

[Well he's not saying it out loud so there's that at least. He does give LUcy a very funny look though.]

Your prize? But you didn't win in the end.

Wh.. are you still saying that? I got away from you, didn't I? [ Didn't that count? ]

Because Herb jumped me and kept me back while you ran off~

It doesn't matter how, it's the end resul..

[ Grr. ]

FINE. Then when we get back, I'll just challenge you to something else.

[ Hrm. What game could she challenge him to-- an arm wrestling match in Taurus form? Maybe that would work! She could certainly hold her own! Though if he felt he was about to lose he might get serious and actually win. HRm. ]

{ There's a bit of static on the other side of the side of the device. Wherever he is, there's poor reception. }

You're still avoiding your guild?

{ From what he knows about Natsu - and by extension, Lucy, since he's observed they're almost never apart from one another - that's completely unheard of for either of them. Why would they... }

[ There's a voice she hadn't expected to hear. A number of questions run through her mind, she finally settles on one. ]

...It's complicated.... how did you know I haven't been going to that place? [ Her first guess, Mavis, since she knew they were friends, somehow. ]

You just, yourself said that you've been staying at an inn, and then moved to an apartment. I've been inside the guild building, you know. It's very nice.

{ ... mostly because Mavis forced him (and Silver) to go swimming in their pool the last time she was here, but details. }

It just seems strange that you would prefer to pay rent than stay for free at a place constructed by your guildmates, for your guildmates. But then, perhaps that's somewhat hypocritical, coming from me.

{ ... considering he's indirectly responsible for that guild even existing, and he has an entire freaking palace that he avoids, too. }

Yes, though doesn't really mean anything. I didn't live in the guild building back home, I lived in an apartment.

[ Yes, it is hypocritical buster! But she didn't know she sometimes stayed at the guild building when she was here before either. ]

Wendy said she was going to the Dream Docks. Has she spoken to you about that?

... No, she didn't. [ But she hadn't spoken to her recently. ] Did she say when?

It was before these... 'Pokémon' things started appearing. We've spoken since then, however. Maybe she hasn't gone, yet.

That could be, yes. . . did she say why she wanted to go to the dream docks?

I told her that Igneel appeared to fight Acnologia. { sorrynotsorry } She wanted to know if Grandeeny appeared as well, but I couldn't answer that honestly. I had left before their fight concluded.

Somebody destroyed all of those Faces at once, however. And Dragons are one of two possible culprits.

[ kanyeshrug? :D Lucy expected Wendy would find out from someone eventually - she just wished it wouldn't have been from -him-. But at the same time, she didn't want to be the one to tell Wendy the bad news. She'd rather have her friend be oblivious and happy. ]

Well, the dragons did appear to destroy Face. [ And a damn good thing too. ]

I see. Then Mard Geer truly hadn't accounted for all possibilities. { Even Zeref wouldn't have seen that coming. That said... At least they won't become a problem in the future. } I take it they simply disappeared, again? I'd have thought Dragon sightings after the Eclipse incident in Crocus would have caused widespread panic.

Well, I wasn't there, so I couldn't say.

[ Because for some reason Mashima decided they all needed to go to the guild for no reason whatsoever. Damnit Mashima. He just loves separating the pair. ]

Then it is likely that Wendy will not like what she sees after visiting the Docks.

{ Yep. Just ask Sting and Rogue how it was to have Jiemma pop out of nowhere with absolutely no build-up for that very reason. }

At least now I know that Acnologia is not invincible. I saw him fly away while missing an arm. I owe Igneel quite a lot, it seems.
