Back from those docks. Looks like I missed a lot. If anyone needs medical attention, I'll set up near Attleton's archway just inside Genessia.

Please, really don't ask me how I am. I'd like to just focus on helping anyone who doesn't mind the lady from the morgue providing free medical care for.. whatever happened while I was out.

[ ...After she eats. She probably won't feel too much better after she eats, but she'll definitely feel less like she'd be okay with snapping someone's neck if they give her flack. Apparently dreaming about eating didn't quite cover a person's needs when they aren't standard dietary needs. ]

Thanks for watching Hope. --Echo. We renamed her Hope, before she died of the first version of the cure. Which begs questions about how she was ever here to begin with and how she's still a zombie here.

[A young girl's voice comes through.]

"Excuse me, ma'am? My name is Anastasia and I am setting up a field hospital on the Attleton side of the archway. Would you like to work together?"

I figured I'd stay on this side for minimum safe distance [ Liv doesn't want to get involved in this- the last thing she needs is more people finding out she's not defenseless and why. especially now that she knows how people react. ]

But I don't mind working together. My name is Olivia Moore. Liv for short.

[Anastasia sounds quite happy to hear Liv has accepted.]

"Wonderful! Thank you, Miss Moore. If anyone is badly injured in Attleton, they will first be stabilized by Miss Kiryuin's medical team at my camp before we evacuate them to your camp.

Is there anything you want to discuss about our humanitarian efforts?"

Her medical team has actual medical training, I assume. Not that I doubt there are other doctors, but I know when things get messy I want to make sure that the people on that side know what they're doing.

[ She's a trained surgeon after all. Medicine and surgery were a part of her ten year plan much more than being an assistant medical examiner ever was. ]

"So you would like to know if the medical crew here is prepared? You are more than welcome to come visit us and talk to the crew here.

Or, would you prefer if they come to you?"

Just asking if they have medical training. If you say yes, I'll trust you; I just want to make sure no one dies or scars if they don't have to.

[She wonders when a question was asked. But she is not going to pursue it.]

"Well... This crew was brought in by Miss Kiryuin herself, so I trust them... Plus, there's a talking creature here who transforms into a large man claiming to be a doctor also..."

[In her defense, she never said she was a medical leader, or had any skills in healing.]

Maybe I should talk to them myself.

[ Mostly because she doesn't know Satsuki enough to trust her and there's no creature who changes into a man who is also a doctor at the hospitals. Which, granted, not the case for her back in her home world but there are circumstances. Which is why talking to this guy to find out said circumstances would probably be best. ]

How far inside the archway is your group?

"Um... Not too far in. Once you enter the archway, take a left and look for a large hill on the edge of a wooded area. There's a clearing and you should see some things called a 'truck' at the entrance to the clearing. The man in gold will be in your sight, but you will not be in his as his attention is on Attleton."

I'm familiar with trucks. I think I'll be able to find it.

[Anastasia begins to wonder if she is the only one in Genessia who hasn't seen or heard of these contraptions. They are so loud and scary to her.]

"That is good. I hope to see you in person soon. I will get back to looking out for more volunteers on the Attleton side. If you need anything, I am always available."

That's super noble, but also kinda dangerous. If this dumb war spills over, would you be able to protect yourself?

That was the whole point of staying on the less-war strewn side of the archway.

Well yeah, but that's not a guarantee or anything. Do you at least have a buddy helping you out?

The medics inside Attleton are planning on stabilizing patients before bringing them to me for care, but I think it'll just be me.

No problem. Is Echo from before you gave her the cure or after? If after, maybe this place stabilized her so she wouldn't die?

Also my Rat babysitting fees are pretty high since I'm the only one in the business. I'll take a check.

Echo is pre-fatal-cure. She died within a few hours of her version of it.

I lived through her dying while I was gone, I think that's a big discount. [ Not even his fault and she's totally joking. Trying to, at least. ]

Maybe you are right. I guess I can let you off the hook this time around.

So...how are things? [Back home, he means. She's still a Zombie so there obviously isn't a cure yet.]

In multiple worlds, you are presently one of three people I care about who don't hate me and aren't dead or dying. Also Ravi manufactured a cure, but impulsive brains made me waste it on dezombifying the mass murderer who killed my boyfriend and my ex-fiance who I turned into a zombie to save his life from the same mass murderer. We don't have enough of the source material to make more.

[ And that's the short version. She's not even going to bring up having to refuse to save her brother. Or Peyton. ]

I'm..fine. [But wow. Liv has gone through some hell back in her world.]

You sound like you can use a drink and a hug. Can zombies even get drunk?

Oh very much so. [ She nods. ] I ate an alcoholic.

That's still a bit weird to hear. [The whole eating people thing.]

So you want to hit a bar or go to one of our places or something for some drinks?

My place might have some peppers in the fridge still so I can make a drink I can actually taste.

[ She learned how to from Lowell.. at least she's feeling recovered from that guilt trip and onto new, fresher guilt trips like Major, Peyton, and Evan. ]

I.. need to stop by the morgue first though. Turns out dreaming up memories about eating doesn't work the same way as actually eating.
