[Having snuck into Gilgamesh's hiding place once before, Zelos at least had some idea what to expect. For now, he crouched out of sight, ready for the right moment to intervene. He wanted to give the distraction party a chance to act, at least.]

Hooray, a real-live damsel in distress. Ted had hurried up to wait, in breathless anticipation. He wasn't sure what the plan was just yet, but hey, maybe he can make a good impression. It was strange working in tandem with quite a few people he hadn't seen; might be a good chance to build camaraderie. With a prayer in his heart and his bag in his hands, he waited for the signal.

Just as Satori promised, Koishi tagged along with the party, At least she had made herself visible and audible when first showing up. Now that they knew she was there, it was much easier to "see" her, though she held on to Ted's sleeve just to be sure, letting him drag her along through the air. Her presence would cloak them, provided they were close enough together, though it only had a small effect on how they saw each other. Hopefully the effect would be more pronounced on anyone who didn't already know they were there.

Distraction or simply a means of hiding her companions, she was ready. Her abilities would make them immensely harder to spot and hear but here was little Koishi could do about the echoes caused by any careless footsteps or their voices should they speak too loud.

[Her cage is still in the same place it was before, hanging high from something that looks like a bird stand. It's harder to see the petite figure of the princess from their position but it's still clear that she is still trapped within the gilded cage.

Those who can sense magic might pick up on fields that surround her prison but it's difficult to identify them from so far away.]

[Of course, Yuuko and Clow were going to be around as soon as they found out where Sakura was held captive.

Yuuko would seem to appear out of nowhere. She didn't come close to the cage, though. Obviously she could sense the magic fields. And she'd been able to sense them from pretty far, actually.

She brought her cigarette holder to her lips, her expression oh so bored. Then she said, seemingly to no one in particular.]

Of course, the cage would be protected by magic fields... I guess I probably could give whoever did that credit for not using traps... or land mines. Poor Sakura-chan~ this is pushing the cliché of the damsel in distress a bit too far if you ask me.

[Or maybe she was talking to someone who was still hiding in the shadows. Who knew? But she was certainly speaking loud enough for the whole party to hear.]

{ Clow Reed heard her, of course. He couldn't remember the last time he was involved in something like this; he hated fighting, it had been ages since he's had to do anything resembling fighting, and if at all possible, he wanted to avoid it, here. But Sakura was in trouble. Fai was here, but absent Syaoran or Watanuki, they had to rely on him. But of course, Clow was more than happy to offer some assistance in the matter.

Sakura being captured was one of the few things that could get Clow Reed to intervene directly.

With Yuuko appearing, Clow Reed kept to the shadows, an illusion spell masking his appearance, making him virtually unnoticeable to all present. But he's watching; and he'll make his presence known if the need arises.

Or if Yuuko decides to stop 'talking to herself' and address him more directly. }

[While Fai had thought to keep his distance from the whole situation, he kept finding that he would get mildly irritated easily so with little bag and wearing his cloak in order to keep himself hidden, he had made his way to where the cage is and with each step he could tell there was magic surrounding it. Well that much he had somewhat expected as he pulled out a vile. Whoever was closest to him will suddenly hear a voice behind them.]

Before you do anything try using this vile to see if it makes the magic weaken and thus easier to break.

[There were quite a few people in the group Zelos didn't recognise, although some of them he'd seen responding to Fay's initial summons.]

Looks like we're gonna need some introductions before we start, huh...?

[At the voice behind them, he glanced over, giving Fai a wink.]

Right, who here's best placed to start sneaking this stuff around...

[He did notice the small youkai floating next to Ted - just about - maybe her?]

Think you'd be up for sneaking in and trying that, cutey? Think you're less obvious than the rest of us.

Koishi blinked, tilting her head, glancing from side to side before she realized he was talking to her. She wasn't used to being in this state AND having someone talk directly to her. Considering most of the time people had no idea she was there... Fortunately the group was already aware of her.

"Yeah. I can do that. I'm really good at sneaking." That was obvious... or, rather, not obvious. "It works really well on sentient minds so the Mister in gold wont see me at all. The rock golems might but that's because their minds are simple and robotic. It doesn't work quite as well on creatures that don't have as much of subconscious to manipulate or as much of a conscious mind to be excluded from... But they're not that threatening so it will be fine." She was at least trying to be quiet.

"Just be sure to tell me what exactly you want me to do and where you want me to be when I'm done. Or else you might not find me again. I can take a couple people with me too. But many more and it wont work as well."

(ooc: If you want to use Koishi for positioning you have my permission to mention that she moves your character. She's inhumanly strong enough to carry anyone here and then some even.)

Introductions? [She looked at Zelos.] That's so formal... But if our red haired leader insists... [Because yes, Zelos, you just forgot to introduce yourself. Ahrem.] I go by many laudatory names but Yuuko Ichihara will be fine here.

[Of course she'd noticed Koishi a long time before Zelos actually mentioned her but she still managed to play the surprise.] Look at you, Sweetheart! Aren't you the cutest little thing~? [She almost looked like she was going to go to Koishi and hug her, but she did not.

Instead she looked back at Clow who was standing not far from her and who had yet to speak up.] Isn't she just?

{ Clow still said nothing. He would be more than happy to introduce himself to Zelos, and indeed would later on, but if he had to hide for now to ensure Zelos got in undetected, so be it. Clow hated fighting, he hated using his magic for purposes like this, but that doesn't mean that he doesn't know how to do so.

Still, this was an impressive line-up. Maybe he wouldn't have to-- of course. Yuuko was addressing him. Clow Reed's illusion faded, and there he was, standing there, smiling, as if he had been there all along. }

She is. { Clow Reed stated, nodding as he did so. } She's like something straight out of one of the Cards.

Darn, he should've worn the cloak. Oh well, Koishi probably would've snitched on him anyway. He introduced himself in whispers.

"Hello everyone; nice to see so many up for part-time heroics. You probably know me already, but unless you're one of those blessed people who pay no attention to politics, I'm your one and only Everglade guardian. Naturally this is out of my jurisdiction, so I recommend we all send Vyers the bill for our efforts. He pays almost as handsomely as himself; don't miss out."

[Movement stir's within the bird cage, the small thin figure slowly raising from the floor of the large cage. Time seems to blend together when you are being kept and Sakura truly can't remember what day it might be. She slowly looks again, her hand rubbing at her eye as if it might afford the princess clarity.

She hears the soft whisper of familiar voices which brings her to the cage's edge. Her knees scrape against the cages floor as she looks down at the small gathering a little ways away. Her heart leaps in her chest before turning to see Gilgamesh. He's very busy fighting what looks like a small army of people.

The magic around the cage is thick, a vale that shimmers almost as much as the gold that formed her prison. Her lips move, mouthing words that she didn't think she should speak aloud.]

The feather?

[The cage rocks slightly as she moves but it doesn't make a sound loud enough to pull any attention. It's only affixed to the top as if balancing though it's obvious that it's safely secured.]

[Fai was quick to notice Sakura was in that state where if she was out of that cage she would try and seek out her own feather. With the vile in his hand he made sure to step away from the others if only for a moment and while the others were busy talking he threw it up into the air, spilling it's contents before holding out his hand and writing something in the air.

He watched as it swirled around the contents before makings it way towards the cage and all he could wonder is if this will weaken it or not. He had hopes, but he couldn't be positive.]

Can someone see if the magic is weaker, I'm not sure how much time we have left so I think we should maybe focus.

Ted gave Koishi a slight nudge. "Go on. You have a head for these things."

"But I... Umm..." Koishi looked over at the magic and back at the group. She did perk up at all the cute comments, but she didn't acknowledge them for now. Focus... stay focused. Her eye opened very slightly. "I'm just a youkai. I'm not a magician... But I can try. For sure!" She took the vial, examining it in her hands and turning it over, looking at the barrier.

She stayed like that for a moment before flying straight up and out of cover, though her outline was so faint it would be a miracle if anyone saw her who didn't already know she was there. She was scanning the magic, looking for weak spots as she drifted forward... About a minute passed before there was a sharp sizzle of magic as the contents of the vial weakened the barrier. The little satori reappeared at Ted's side after a moment, tugging at his sleeve.

"Okay! That was really simple. It should be easy to break now. But if we just charged though and broke it with brute force it would probably make noise."

[Yuuko gave Fai a wink, as if to reassure him and tell him that everything would be okay. Even if she looked like she was attending a party rather than taking part in a rescue mission, Yuuko had never lost her focus. Not even for a second. She wanted Sakura out of this cage too.

The Time Witch then turned to Koishi with a fond smile.] Look at you, Sweetheart~ Both cute and efficient.

[While she was talking, she discreetly snapped her fingers behind her back in such a way that Clow Reed would probably be the only one to notice.

What the others would noticeh however would be the magical barrier shattering, without making a sound and seemingly on its own.]

Oh? Looks like you weakened it even more than you thought.

You'll be out of there soon, Sakura. [Sakura would be the only one to hear this last part.]

[Sakura watches as the spell shatters, her eyes widening as she looks down at Yuuko. She hasn't even thought about what price the time witch might seek. She just smiles happy to see her friends and a fair amount of strangers working to save her.

Her fingers move in front of her lips, while tears spilled from her eyes. She feels her heart lifted for the first time in days as she looks down at the group.]

Thank you.

You're safe now, Sakura.

{ Clow whispered to himself; though it may be possible for Sakura to hear it the same way she heard Yuuko's words. He caught Yuuko's finger-snap, and smiled in her direction as the barrier shattered. Yuuko was always an incredibly powerful witch, whose power rivaled his own.

For now, however, they needed to ensure the others got out safely. Sakura was likely in no condition for a fight, and Clow was not eager to do any fighting, himself. He turned to Yuuko, smiling his trademark smile, his pokerface completely unreadable as it always was.

They needed to get out of here, soon. }

[For now, he let Koishi and Yuuko work their magic to get around the barrier - they were far more equipped for this than he was.

Well this was going better than he could have expected. With the barrier gone, now they just had to get Sakura out the cage - and he wasn't convinced the little Youkai'd be able to carry her down all by herself. It didn't look like any of the others could fly either.]

Right, we either need to lower that thing down here, or we need to fly up and steal Sakura out... Don't suppose anyone here can sprout wings out of thin air, can they?

[He said this rather sarcastically, but deep down he was hoping he wouldn't have to be the one to pull this off. Instead, he focused on scanning the area for any other way to quietly lower the cage down.]

[Her cage is hanging high above them and from a single hook. Unless they brought things with them there is no safe way to bring it down without hurting Sakura in the process.

The young princess is far to weak to do very much herself, her eyes flick from the group below her other to Gilgamesh who is still completely distracted by those coming at him.]
