[When the video begins, Shion is peering straight into the camera, but he sounds distracted.]

I thought they were lying about this place to the people who have been brought here, but after looking around I'm starting to doubt that's the case.

Anyway, hi. I'm Shion. It's nice to meet you. [He smiles cheerfully. Nezumi said they should scope out the place, so that's what he's working on doing. Okay moving on.]

I'd like to ask a few questions to anyone who is willing to answer them. Since most of us are from different worlds, I'd be interested to hear how similar or dissimilar this world is from the ones we're from. If this has been going on for an undetermined amount of time, I'm sure there are already people looking into how this world works, but I'd be interested in doing the same and seeing what we've learned so far. It might be safer for some of you, depending on the state of your world, but there are probably others eager to go home. As safe as it may seem, we've still been brought here against our will.

I guess I should get a job at some point too, huh? I could do that separately from the other work...

The spirits of Genessia say they pick individuals who are 'compatible' although they weren't more specific than that.

I come from someplace very different... I'm not sure if I am exactly 'safer' here than home. I guess I'm technically immortal while existing in the dream bubbles, although that would be taken away should Lord English succeed in destroying the furthest ring... if it's possible to destroy something theoretically infinite?

If I was still in a dream bubble, however, I might actually welcome nonexistence. After untold eons it gets rather... stale.

[The closest he's able to compare spirits is to Elyurias. Were they like that? But the idea of compatibility isn't one that sits well with him. He frowns, unable to mask his unease.] Can I talk to the spirits too? Are there any around here?

Were you not allowed out of the dream bubbles? I guess that would get boring, but I don't know what a dream bubble is.

Strictly speaking I don't exist outside of dream bubbles... but I suppose I do now?

Death and existence are very malleable concepts in Paradox space... and in Genessia, apparently.

I was granted a question by the spirits after I made a sacrafice to them in the chamber of trials (was she saying that right?). I don't think they take unsolicited visits.

Hypothetically, it would require an incredible amount of energy to pull a person from a the kind of plane you're from. I wonder if it's a natural phenomenon to this world, or if it was manufactured. We can find out more about the city and see if they have something hidden somewhere! Maybe there's some scientific facility that is responsible for everything that's happened.

[Death is something he's fine with not thinking about. Focusing on the secrets of Genessia helps with that.]

Okay, then how do I solicit one?

The holidays we have on Earth vary by city. What's the level of technology on your world?

About the same as in Genessia City proper; actually, you have a point there. I'm thinking of "Mother's Day", which was recognized in the newspaper midway through the year. Hmm, now I need to see how many other nations supported that, historically.

Mn, that's one we celebrated in Number 6. It could be pretty popular. [He smiles politely, feeling a small pang when he wonders how his mother is doing. As long as she's safe...]

If this has been going on for a while, it might be possible that Genessia was either influenced passively by other worlds, or they intentionally modified it to give those kidnapped a sense of familiarity. But we can't just assume that because we share some holidays in common.

Do you know how much research is being done on the city?

Shion...You probably know but Nezumi told me to tell you he's here.

[She's sure if he's speaking over the phones that they'v found each other but she had promised. She smiles shyly hoping that it isn't to strange for her to say so. She's not very good at talking to people.]

He did? Thank you for telling me. [He doubts Nezumi reacted very calmly...so he just smiles, appreciative that she let him know despite that.]

Okay. Would you consider your world particularly modern? [He doesn't seem to get what she means.]

My world? I think so but mostly where the Empire was involved.

[Her head tilts to the side.]

My world is plain...boring... But the rest of my family and friends are there. There are so many manga ideas that I can come up with here. I wouldn't want to go back.

Speaking of which, do you mind if I ask you a few questions?

I think a lot of people would consider their worlds boring, if they're used to them. [He can kind of relate, Mr.-Screams-At-Storms.] Plain for me might not the same thing as it does for you though. Can you go into more detail?

I went to high school, owned an apartment in town, made manga... That's pretty much it.

[ he nods, looking serious for a moment as he gets a pencil and pen ] Judging by your appearance... Would you consider yourself as the main antaglnist? What sort of super powers do you have?

[She smiles at the feed for a moment. She was always happy to talk about her world and such.]

I find that there isn't much different, though that would depend on if one would mean my world or the Digital one. [The latter of which she has never actually seen yet.]

[He smiles. The idea of a Digital World interests him.]

Can you tell me more about the Digital World? It sounds like it would be pretty complex.

I think it can be, but... I don't know enough about it to know. I do know there are creatures called Digimon that come from there and that before I arrived here appeared in the sky all over the world. But that's about as much as I know.

[Until she gets her canon update at least.]

Someday I'll be happy to talk about it more though, maybe.
