I'll give him a PIZZA MY MIND ROFLMHOOMGLOLOLOLOL
WHO: Captain Hammer, OPEN!
WHAT: Hammer's organized a little meet 'n greet over pizza, his treat. What a nice superhero!
WHEN: November 27, 2013 - 7:00 p.m.
WHERE: Geraldi's Pizzeria - Genessia City
NOTES: Both prose and [action] tags are fine! There's also no pose order. GO NUTS. Don't forget to add your tag!
There's something very inviting about a pizza parlor. The combination of spices never fails to set a man's stomach to grumbling, and Captain Hammer is no exception. He's arrived twenty minutes early to put down an order for three extra large pies, figuring that would probably be enough to feed the ones who responded to his proposition. And if more arrive, they'll just order a few more pizzas.
He figured this was a good way for the people stuck in this weird little dump to know who they could befriend (each other) and who they could rely on to punch villains in the face (and that would be him).
The pizzas were set out on a long, high table ringed by barstools. There were plates, napkins, forksfor the weak, a basket of breadsticks, a pitcher of root beer on one end, and a pitcher of real beer on the other. Hammer himself was perched on one of the barstools, enjoying a slice of pizza heaped with pepperoni and olives. One boot rested on the floor, the other was hooked on the lowermost rung of his barstool.

Re: [Action]
[Jaune hops up onto the seat offered and blinks.] I've been having a lot of sandwiches. I don't cook much. I mean, I can, but... well, you know. But are you talking about them? [He gestures to Ruby and the others, having noticed them.] I don't know what it is about Ruby, but she can eat like crazy!
[Action]
Looks like I'll be ordering some more pies before long. What's your name?
[He holds out a gloved hand.]
Captain Hammer.
Re: [Action]
[He takes Captain Hammer's hand and gives it a shake.]
So do I just call you Hammer? Or Captain? But then, I guess Captain makes you sound like you should be on a ship... Hmm...
Well, nice to meet you anyway. Are you some kind of super hero or something? That is wicked awesome!
[Action]
[He's not sure how he feels about the French. They seem kind of sissy, but every girl loves the language. He sounds pretty American, though, so maybe the kid just has sissy parents. Poor thing.]
Whichever you like! The media sometimes shortens it to 'Hammer' but I'll respond to either name.
[Is he a super hero? WHY YES. :D His broad shoulders get noticeably straighter as he sticks out his chest, settling his fists on his hips.]
You've got a keen attention to detail. As a matter of fact, I am, and it is indeed awesome. It's my theory that it's because of my superhero status that I was summoned here to protect the masses. And what about you? Why are you here?
Re: [Action]
[But moving on to why he's there, Jaune seems to get a rather troubled look on his face, despite the fact that he was nomming down on some pizza.]
I don't know. [His response is pretty lucid, a soft tone of voice.] Er, well, I mean, it must be because I was- Er, AM a hunter! And... I went to Beacon and... and I used to- er, I mean I lead a team! And uh...
[Thinking about his team, he takes a deep breath.] Who am I kidding? You're here because you're big and strong and can protect people. I must have... I dunno, cheated my way in here. I was practising to fight better, with my friend Pyrrha, but... well now I'm here.
[Action]
[Captain Hammer lays a heavy, gloved hand on Jaune's armored shoulder.]
I may not know much about beginners. I've just always naturally been strong and talented.
[Not to brag, but yeah, he has.]
I do know that each of us was brought here without warning or choice, though, so cheating is impossible. Just wait. Maybe your destiny lies here, and you were pulled out of your world to fulfill that destiny at long last.
Re: [Action]
[Well, Hammer was trying to make him feel better, which seems odd. Normally guys that much stronger and more talented than Jaune didn't pay him much mind.] ... Well thanks, Captain Hammer. Maybe you're right. And whatever that destiny is, I suppose I'll totally be ready for it. Maybe. Probably.
[Action]
[He grins, amused.]
You're either ready for your destiny, or it's kicking down your front door and eating all of your waffles, making a mess in your kitchen.
[He is the best at metaphors.]
Best to be prepared, don't you think?
