Action/Video - Fayren [Halloween's Terror]

Stay away!

[Levy's running from her store when her nightmare catches up with her. Her feet trip over themselves sending her crashing towards the cold ground. Her phone drops from her hand, her attempts to call for help useless and yet the video feed begins to play. Those watching see the blue haired girl with stains on her cheeks and dirt covering her dress, there is fear in her gaze as she turns back to look at who’s chasing her.

A low chuckle can be heard but before the man chasing her comes into view the feed ends.]

You forgot? Let me remind you.

[The words are thick and heavy, a cruel note to his tone as he slowly steps closer. Levy shakes her head, her heart aching knowing that she forgot her friend. It doesn't matter if they weren't close. He had told her to be strong, to keep fighting and yet she let the memory slip away thinking of some greater good.

Is it even worth it?]

I didn't mean to.

[Except she did, there is no undoing it. Tears freely begin to streak down her face as the Redfox steps closer. Each moment only adding to the fear and pain she held in her heart, knowing what she’s done; Levy doesn't even try to escape.]

Levy??

[ Oh dear, and here Porrim had been hoping to just stay out of Fayren until this whole thing blew over.

Instead here she was sprinting over to the archway into Fayren. She could go rather fast when she needed to.

She speaks into the phone as she runs. ]

Levy, tell me where you are.

Mamoru wanted to keep his promise to visit Levy in Fayren now that he was better enough to be out of the hospital, after visiting Sakura, Levy and Fayren was his next stop.

Mamoru nervouesly rubbed the bandages still on his exposed arms and legs as they still ached a bit, as he adjusted his blue and gold vest thing ver his white t-shirt, and put his hands into the tiny pockets of his red short shorts, as he gently kicked the air with his blue shoes. He saw Levy and saw that she was upset, to while Mamoru called out to her, concerned and full of energy.

"Levy-san!"

Mamoru rushed over to her as fast as his little legs would carry him, ignoring how much it made the aches and pains hurt more, and rushed to her side, concerned. "Levy-san, what's wrong? Are you okay?" Mamoru said trying to offer her a hug.

[Belle had found herself in Fayren in order to check out a few books from the store. However instead she happened to come across a familiar face.]

Levy? [Her eyes soon came across the other standing before her and it didn't take her long to figure out it was someone she knew. She could feel like something was coming soon and she just wanted to ignore her fear for now in order to help her friend.]

I can't say I know what is going on, but listen to me, okay?

[ OOC: soooo tempted to make a separate post! ]

[ She hadn't seen the video feed - though by chance, the celestial mage had not been unaffected by the magical tomfoolery afoot herself. She was stumbling through the forest, for once without Natsu at her side, arms hugging her body tightly, shoulders shaking from silent sobs. When she heard Levy crying out over the network, she shook herself to a sense of alertness, fumbling for the device. ]

L... Levy?

[Levy hears the familiar voice next to her ear. She reaches for the device, the figure standing in front of her slowly moving as she scrambles to her feet.]

Porrim!

[Her voice is cracked and broken as she cries out, the metal man flicking into view for just an instant.]

Tears stained Levy's cheeks as she looked over at Mamoru. No! He can't be here! She clamped her eyes shut pushing at Mamoru's shoulder.

"Run." Her voice was soft and her throat was dry making it painful to speak. A haunting laugh sounded behind him. The Redfox's skin turning from the pale to the shining glint of steel.

"Gajeel.." Levy's eyes widened as her nightmare approached. A cruel smile falling over the mans lips. "Hey kid, get out of the way or I'll kill you too."

[Levy turns towards Belle, tears rolling down the girls eyes as the figure slowly steps forward. Each word spoken biting into her heart.]

Belle, I forgot him Belle.

[She reaches for the girl feeling a weight that threatened to crush her. All the while the Redfox stepped closer.]

[OOC: Hehehe <3<3<3<3<3]

[The familiar voice rings by her ear and her sight is pulled away from the towering man before her. Levy looks over to the little device that had stuck itself in the dirt and reaches for it, her fingers plucking it from the ground.]

Lu-chan?

[Her throat is dry making each word hurt to speak. She began to scramble again, another voice sounding over the device.]

Is that how you treat your friends?

"It might be too early to use my powers again...but I definitely won't let you hurt Levy-san!" Mamoru said with a serious look as he breifly closed his eyes and a bright green glow appeared on him and he sprouted his white fairy wings, and his hair stood up. He stood in front of Levy and covered her in the glow as well, creating an energy shield, making a sign with his hands. his arms and legs winced in protest, but he wasn't going to let this Gajeel hurt Levy.

"I may have failed to save Sakura-san from Gilgamesh, but I won't lose again! So leave her alone!

The phantom only laughed at the young boy. It's eyes fixed to Levy who cowered behind him. She wanted to fight, she wanted to run but her joints were locked into place as if fear has stolen her will.

"Then let her tell you of her crime."

Levy began to shake her head back and forth. Fresh tears rolling down her cheeks. "No." It hurt and more than that she didn't know what to do. She was lost with one of her friends moving forward, his eyes gleaming with the intent to kill her.

"I don't care!"

Mamoru shouted out with determination. "It doesn't matter what she's done! I know in my heart that Levy-san is a good person! I can tell she has true courage in her heart! No matter what she might have did in the past, I know that it doesn't change that Levy-san is Levy-san! I have faith in her! Believing in someone to save them with all your courage, that's what it means to be a true hero!"

"Levy-san, please try to move, we'll try to back away together, okay? with my shield, we should be safe..."

[ She almost breaks into tears just at hearing Levy's voice again. But it's the other voice that tears her breath away for a moment, her face paling. ]

It... can't be. You... -- the both of you --

[ It's a sick, cruel trick, and her legs gave out beneath her. ]

H.. How...? I saw... it can't be real...!

Levy, I need you to tell me where you are. Is there a store nearby? A landmark?

[ She pulls up a picture of Levy on her phone and starts to ask random passersby if they've seen her. She tries to keep calm, but she's definitely displaying signs of anxiety to anyone who's known her for very long. ]

[Junpei recognized her face right away. To see her in such a state concerned him. If he needed to come rescue her, he will do so in a heartbeat. It was just the cool guy thing to do.]

"What? H-hey, what's wrong? Aren't you that girl on the communicator the other day?"

Forgot who, Levy?

[She takes a step closer, she slowly started to reach out towards her friend, hoping that myabe she could do something to help, even if it was a little comfort. Before he would appear.]

Come with me... I'll take you somewhere safe.

[Levy swallows and then clamps her eyes shut, more tears spilling forth.]

I'm close to the store.

[Her voice sounds weak but as she speaks she continues to scrabble away.]

Levy's eyes widened with each word, her tears drying for a moment as Mamoru stands between her and her fears. Except she had forgotten her friend, she had chosen to forget him. How did Mamoru not think that she'd do that to him too? What if she forgot everything?

She swallowed clamping her eyes shut and then trying to stand.

The Redfox steps closer and as if to test out Mamoru's shield his arm extends into a piece of steel that comes crashing down towards them.

[Levy clings to Belle as if trying to will the figure of the man who hunted her away. She can't bare to see him. It hurt too much.]

Gajeel. I forgot him.

[Fresh tears fell down her cheeks as she pressed her face against Belle's shoulder.]

Saw what? Lu-chan?

[Levy moves the phone close to her chest making it almost impossible to see. With Lucy on the other side of the video she found strength. She'd run, even if she doesn't know where to go.]

[Levy hears the voice near her ear. She turns and picks up the device without even looking at the speaker.]

Y-yes.

[Her voice trembles as she scrambles to her feet.]

I'm being chased... he's hunting me... I forgot him.

[Her voice cracks and she begins to cry.]

[Junpei knows better than to get involved with anything hostile outside of the Dark Hour. But if the Dark Hour is absent, what else does he have? He lost everything else being pulled here. If anything were to happen to him, it might as well be doing something good and going out in a blaze of glory.]

"Who's hunting you?! Where are you? I'll come get you!"

[Levy pants softly, the camera pointed more at her neck than any other part of her.]

Near by bookstore.

[There is a voice that echoes from behind her.]

No one can save you

As the blade made contact, Mamoru braced himself and tried hard to hold the barrier, yelling as he increased the energy, managing to deflect the first blow.

"Levy-san, we have to get out of here! I don't think I'm in good enough shape to defeat whoever this is, but I can at least do this!" Mamoru said as he took Levy's hand and with the shield still in place, Mamoru flew the two of them away from the attacker. "Please, hang on, Levy-san!"

[Good thing he had a map, otherwise he could end up somewhere else. Junpei didn't answer right away as she retrieved his katana and evoker. A lot of good the evoker would do, but at least being gun-shaped should could scare.]

"I'm coming, Levy-san! Get out of sight and I'll call when I get there!

If you remember who he is... then how did you forget them?

[She knew of forgetting as it happened to her at least twice. Though the second time it changed her into someone else, someone the exact opposite of who she usually was and would rather not remember again for a while.]

Never the less, lets get moving before he comes.

[She might be talking about another he as she holds her shoulders and starts to guide her.]
