1. [VIDEO] The Bay
Is a non-working vacation too much to ask for? I mean, come on. One day off. After what happened last week I deserve that.

[A dark-haired teenage boy is scowling unhappily into the camera. He sighs heavily and drags a hand through his hair. Somehow it always ended up like this.]

Okay,so let me just get this straight. I somehow got kidnapped and stuck in an alternate dimension. Again. And this time it's not Dad's fault?

Could this possibly get any worse?

[He freezes and moans miserably.]

...Oh, great. I think I just jinxed myself.


2. [ACTION] Genessia City

[Later that day a strange new arrival can be spotted around Genessia City. It appears to be a glowing white-haired teenage boy. He appears in the sky first, flying over the city and investigating the layout. Later he makes his way closer to the ground, hovering several feet above the pavement as he explores the town.]

Uh, nice to meet you?

[Danny grins nervously at the kid, not entirely sure what to think. He wasn't a ghost, but he was flying. How did that work?

But hey, any day he could meet someone new without any screaming and running away involved was a good day.]

I'm Danny. Danny Phantom. I guess I'm new here.

"I see. It's nice to meet you, Danny-san! If you're new here, I'd be happy to show you around, and if you need a place to stay, since you're not an adult, you can probably stay where I live." Mamoru said, warmly. "It's a home set up for children to stay in, it had nice rooms and food, and it's pretty comfortable, and free! Right now only me and this girl around my age are staying there, so we could definitely use the company." Mamoru added nervously.

"If you'd rather try to find work so you can stay somewhere else, you can do that too! Thinking about it, It might be a little embarassing for an older boy like you to stay in what's effectively an orphanage with younger kids like me and Anastasia-chan, but it's up to you. Either way I'd be happy to help with anything, there's so many older adults here, it might be a good idea for kids like us to stick together and do our best to help each other!"

Danny had to stare a little as he hears all this information.

"Uh, you do realize I'm a ghost, right?"

"Well, even if you are a ghost or some type of spirit, I don't see why I should treat you differently than anyone else... after all, I'm not exactly normal myself...I'm an alien." Mamoru said with care. He didn't like to look down on those who were different because he didn't want anyone to treat him badly for being an alien.

"I don't judge people because they're different. It's mean and unfoorgivable. I've known that people who do are just bullies!"

"Um, wow." Danny had to boggle a little at that. It was just so different from what he was used to hearing.

...Which was probably a sad commentary on his life all by itself.

"That's surprisingly sensible."

He blinks. "An alien? Really?" A beat. And then sudden enthusiastic questions.

"Where are you from? Do you have a spaceship? Have you spent any time in space?"

"I mean, after all, I never wanted any of my friends to view me any differently for what I am." Mamoru said calmly, only to be surprised by all the alien-related questions.

"No, I don't have a spaceship, I have the ability to fly and survive in space on my own, it's just draining to do so. And yes, I've spent a lot of time in space... I was helping my friends defeat a great evil out there recently... which is when I lost them..." Mamoru said, growing a bit sad.

"As for where I'm from, I lived on Earth ever since I was a baby with my human parents. But... I'm really from the Green Planet, of the Trinary Solar System. But, you can't find it anymore, as that whole solar system and all the planets there were destroyed."
