1. [VIDEO] The Bay
Is a non-working vacation too much to ask for? I mean, come on. One day off. After what happened last week I deserve that.

[A dark-haired teenage boy is scowling unhappily into the camera. He sighs heavily and drags a hand through his hair. Somehow it always ended up like this.]

Okay,so let me just get this straight. I somehow got kidnapped and stuck in an alternate dimension. Again. And this time it's not Dad's fault?

Could this possibly get any worse?

[He freezes and moans miserably.]

...Oh, great. I think I just jinxed myself.


2. [ACTION] Genessia City

[Later that day a strange new arrival can be spotted around Genessia City. It appears to be a glowing white-haired teenage boy. He appears in the sky first, flying over the city and investigating the layout. Later he makes his way closer to the ground, hovering several feet above the pavement as he explores the town.]

"Just one! The gardener with the swords." A pause. "Other half ghosts? You're half ghost too?" Her eyes lit up. "That's so neat! But... where's your ghost half? Or, rather, your human half? Or..." The little youkai paused, looking immensely confused.

"Umm... The nice gardener miss has her ghost half follow her around and help her out while her human half does other things. They work really well together. Shouldn't you follow your human half nearby? Or your ghost half nearby?" A pause. "I'm confuuuuused!"

...He really hadn't meant to let that slip. Oops?

"Uh... it doesn't bother you to hear about half ghosts running around?"

He lets all the rest of it pass for now.

[koishi_komeiji]

"We're not running! We're flying!" A fair point.

Koishi pursed her lips. "No. Not at all." A pause. "Should I be bothered? It seems to be a silly thing to be bothered by. Where I come from there are all sorts of neat creatures running around. We have were-creatures, half-creatures, ghosts, celestials, aliens, demons, gods, animate objects... And youkai like me! I mean we're demon-monster-spirit things so..."

Well that sounded like a pretty crazy world.

"Oh! We have humans too, of course! I like humans a lot. They're so creative and fun."

"We have lots of odd creatures here in Genessia too. All sorts of things from all sorts of worlds. You'll fit right in so don't worry too much, okay? I can introduce you to some of them sometime maybe."

"Technically, I'm floating," Danny pointed out.

"I- Right." He sighs. "Sometimes it seems like humans are the only ones that care about things like that. Back home it's just ghosts and humans. Mostly."

It was kind of depressing to think about. How sad was it that sometimes it felt like the ghosts were more accepting of what he was than the humans were? Granted, a lot of them did want to destroy him in various creative ways. But it wasn't because he was still part human. It was for revenge or because they wanted his pelt or for entertainment. Not like the ghosthunters who wanted to tear apart molecule by molecule just because he was a ghost.

....Though speaking of that.

"Um, crazy question. But I don't suppose you know if there's anyone here I should be avoiding. You know, like shoot first ask questions never ghost hunters?"
