Hi Everyone!

[Levy smiles brightly at the screen. She has been thinking about this for awhile now and she finally has a rough date and idea. Plus she got permission from David.]

I wanted to let you know that David and I are throwing a Holiday party! Please RSVP because I'm going to have fun presents for everyone. It's going to be at our house so if you need directions let me know. It's going to but a fun time!

[Mostly partying and talking.]

It's going to be December 23rd. I don't think anything else is going on that day?

Well, what sort of terms are you on with Lucy?

[Levy's going to come find him since she isn't really all that far away when she sends out the video.]

He thought about it. His expression darkened a bit, then he laughed a little. "Now? I couldn't say. If she's the type to hold a grudge, then bad ones, for those are the sorts of terms we left on, unfortunately."

Levy sighed. "Not saying you did anything but what happened? I really want both of you at this party. David said he wanted you to come too but I don't really want either of you to have a bad time."

She knew that Ted would have a wonderful time no matter what, she was really just worried about Lucy. She has had a hard time lately and the point of this was for Levy to make it better, not worse.

"Mm. Well, I probably did do something. I wanted to discuss about her bout between Dracula, and made a comment about Natsu and she being lovers. This she found preternaturally upsetting. When I tried to steer the conversation back towards whether there were any evidence other than their testimonies, she replied in the negative, then exited just as negatively. I believe I apologized to her for it, but it didn't stick.

Suppose I should apologize to you too. You probably warned me not to mention their relationship, but truthfully it seemed obvious even before you told me about Fairy Tail's history."

This was tough. On the one hand, he always wanted to go to parties, especially with friends. On the other hand, he didn't want to be a source of chaos. But they were adults, weren't they? Blonde, true, but adults just the same. "If it comes down between us, then choose her. You've been friends longer, it's only natural." He'd still feel pretty bummed out about it, but stay strong, big guy.

Levy put her face in her hands after Ted admits to what they fought about. The truth was she'd probably never get that from Lucy, at least not in those exact words. Levy loved that Ted was so blunt about things, she never had to guess what he was thinking.

There was a long moment of silence before Levy looks up at Ted with a smile.

"You shouldn't have said that. It wasn't very nice." Expect that Levy was smiling, it all made sense now. "I really want you to come. You're one of my close friends Ted." In case he wasn't aware of that.

"But try not to say anything to her about that. They are very close but not like that..." She rolled her eyes to indicate sex. "Can I ask for tact?" Levy really wanted him to come.

"I know, I know. I still don't understand it. I mean, if someone said you and I were lovers, I'd have thought--well, never mind. You asked for tact, you shall have it. One only needs to touch a sore spot once to know better, like Minesweeper.

And thank you; the feeling's mutual. I'm looking forward to it."

Levy raised an eyebrow at his explain but then let it pass. It didn't really bother her so much, unless it were to happen on a regular biases but she knew that it was a topic that Lu-chan was sensitive about.

"I'm sure you have things you don't want to talk about too." As often as Ted did talk Levy was sure that he didn't share all of this thoughts. Him and Porrim might fight more if that happened which was also why she knew that Ted had tact at all.

"But It'll be nice to have you there. I know David wanted to invite you too."

"Fair enough." Ted's bag ranked #1 on the list of "things not to talk about." It almost featured on the sheriff's office's Ten Commandments, but that would be so like talking about it that he decided to leave it alone. If Lucy and Natsu (sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G) were like that, he could understand leaving it alone. Though Lucy hadn't so much wished to get away from the subject and subject all interrogators to an inquisition of her own.

"David, now there's one I haven't talked to lately. Kind of unnerving, I had expected he'd have something to say about all the hubbub here. He talked me into this, you know. At my request. It'll be good to catch up."

Levy blinked watching Ted curiously. "I didn't know that." She paused for a long moment before continuing.

"Did I tell you that David and I are roommates?" She didn't really remember what she brought up since she was usually working and distracted by Ted being Ted when they were in the office.

"So he'll be there."

"No, that's something I didn't know. Fairy Tail's talent for Platonic love is extraordinary." Let him just get all his tactlessness out of his system. Still, he was surprised. Girls and boys under the same roof, and not even dating. Or so he assumed.

"So you say! Say it enough and I'll assume you're pulling my leg. Don't; it's too cruel." He smiled. "Well, I'm glad we could work this out without fuss. Good night, Levy. I'll be looking forward to more of the same."

Levy was pretty sure that some things Ted never got out of his system. Even so, she's glad that he had assured her that he'd do his best. Ted gets a flat stare from the Fairy Tail Wizard and then a warm smile.

"Good night Ted."

She hoped that he knew that he was part of her family too.
