Hey, so I decided to give this place...the Cat's Eye... a try tonight...

(He frowns slightly at first and it might sound in his voice.)

More like I'm supposed to be meeting this guy here...and either I'm early or he's running late. Or he's some sort of crazy ninja and in that case I totally need to learn these skills...

Ah, yeah, if anyone sees my evil twin running around and he's on his way or something - tell him to hurry it up, alright? (A joke. Just not funny. At all.) I shouldn't be the responsible one here.

(Mark stretches and leans slightly back in his seat, the chair can be heard in the background if one listened closely enough. Obviously he is more than slightly bored at this bored. He's never been much of sitting idle kind of guy - not that he's not willing to do so if something is important enough.)

Anyway, why I'm here isn't important, well to anyone but me and the evil twin....but, anyone want to come hang out tonight...I'm buyin' the drinks this time.

Just don't get used to the idea. I'm not a pushover.

Hey, man... this is the right place, isn't it? You said at 7? Or did I mess that up. Anyway, if you're here tell me where you're sitting and I'll just switch tables or something.

(Mark just thinks he's hilarious and he laughs and grins from behind the audio feed.)

Ah, thanks a lot. (Mark smiles and then without thinking he takes a drink of the tea and makes a slight face. He hadn't been thinking and he was used to having to rush a bit when it came to getting coffee or something hot down him before going to work in morning - just he hadn't been bracing himself this time around.

He puts the cup down and decides he can wait a couple minutes before trying again.

It was really good for tea - and that opinion came from a guy who is normally chugging down any coffee he could get his hands on.)

So, thanks again for keeping an eye out for this guy. Oh, and also, I probably should introduce myself and I know that sounds weird, but ...uh hey, I'm Mark. Mark Watney.

I'm Sakura! It's really great to meet you. I'm glad that you came in today.

[She means that however after their greeting she turns and runs away. Her steps are quick and when she returns she's holding a cup of water.]

[Not that water will help but it's the thought that counts right?]

It's nice to meet you too. That's nice of you to say... (At first he seems confused by her turning and running away, but he finds himself willing to assume that "duty called", however he is surprised when she comes back and with a cup of water.)

Uh, thanks a lot... (Water usually doesn't help much with burns, but he is definitely touched by the gesture. He'll just take the glass from her when he can and take a sip.)

I suppose I should have waited a few minutes before trying to think hot tea, huh?

[Sakura nods and runs off to get back to work. When she see's Mark's grumpy friend she directs him towards the correct table and then goes back to working, smiling and taking people orders.]
