This might be an odd request but is anyone willing to teach me magic? I don't want to hurt anyone so healing and defensive things if possible. I want to be able to protect my friends and family. I've learned that I have the capability for magic I just need to be taught.

Magic, right. Suppose I should start with something simple... There's a little trick you can do to give yourself a protective barrier for a few moments. Good if something's about to smack you in the face, anyway.

Gotcha. Okay, so...are you right- or left-handed? Either way, the trick is to channel the mana in your body outward into a physical form. Different magic feels different-- least from what I was told-- so you need to have a clear idea what you're going for.
