2 Failed Attempts at World Domination [Video]
[Someone is feeling extremely chipper today. It's time for a very important announcement]
Citizens of Genessia. You all should already know me as the brilliant scientist; Doctor Albert W. Wily, if not then you really need to poke your head out of what ever rock you've been living under more often.
Today I've come to bring you wonderful news; as of today I'm no longer just a humble roboticist, I'm also the man in charge of keeping Nova City safe and sound from now on. It was a good race while it lasted, but I'm sure you'll all agree that the better man came out on top, after all it's thanks to your votes that I'm where I am today.
[He certainly had nothing to do with the power outage that made the voting machines go all wonky, that's for sure.]
Now as my first order of business as Guardian, as promised I'll be upping the production of my Robot Masters to keep the peace and defend against any attacks that might occur in my fine city and where ever else I'm needed. You'll be seeing them out and about soon enough. In the meantime, my more basic Sniper Joes and Mets will be patrolling the streets.
Now I have a lot of work to do, but you can all feel free to leave me congratulatory messages to listen to while I work. It'll give me something to listen to while I work.

Congratulations, you egomaniacal crack-pot with severe delusions of grandeur.
Not to mention a liar.
[Yeah. She doesn't like being tricked.]

Just who put those crazy ideas in your little head?

Right here! [Cue a playback of Wily's initial introduction into Genessia.]
You even attacked Everglade with a small army, and terrorized people with these! [She holds up the one Met she fixed, which looks right pissed off too. She must have tampered with its programming.]
What the heck, Gramps. How the heck did you even win after all that? This system is bull! You're bull! And my head is big thank you very much. Big and full of smarts!
[Wow. She's pissed.]

Sweet mother of Tesla girl, have you never made a single mistake your entire life? Yes, I did all those things, then I realized there were important things to deal with here. I'm trying to keep us all alive right now and this is the thanks I get!
[Wait, he knows you have.
...He probably should have installed a bomb in that Met.]

I try to make it a point not to associate with people like that. So you say that you've learned your lesson - fine. I accept that, but only at its worth.
And in the world of science? Talk is cheap.

[Amelia's on the list of idiots that Wily needs to crush now.]
no subject
... Please don't let whatever remains of my faith in you be for nothing. [Because really, she knows that a brilliant mind like his could do so much good... so why is it they never want to do it?]
[He honestly reminds her too strongly of the last hero of robotics she had... That guy turned out to be a monster too. Yeah, so she already knows Wily's going to disappoint her terribly. She's prepared for that.]

Just wait, you'll see...
I have to get back to work now.
[He'll show her, he'll show them all...]
no subject
I'll be watching, Wily.
[Curse her and her hopes. Why does she have to be such a girl? Well, you get to work, Wily. Build them robots. Maybe they'll do some good. if she's lucky. In the meantime, she'll have to start building a robot of her own, maybe...]

[He'll have to remember to send over a gift basket or something.]

[Good for Wily.]
[A pause and then he tosses his head back with a laugh.]
Well played, doctor! Well played indeed.
[Oh he's so down for an evil laugh right now.]
Have you seen the temper tantrums that some of these children are throwing? It's hilarious.
And now that you have your position, I trust you'll have no trouble upholding your half of our little arrangement?
...Hmmm, you wouldn't happen to have anything that nullifies or weakens magic users do you? One of my new "coworkers" is less than thrilled with my new position. I have a feeling I'm going to have a wizard problem over the next few weeks.

[The feed cuts out and then switches to a private channel, what appears to be surveillance footage of Spark Man's activities during the power outage playing.]
I know you rigged the election, Wily. Give me a reason, and I'll let everyone else know as well. Play by the rules, and this will be our secret.
[Private]
Luckily, he's prepared for something like this.]
You must think you've got me in your pocket now, don't you?
Unfortunately for you, you're dealing with a genius like me.
I already planned on "playing by the rules" for awhile yet, so yes, this will be our little secret. Don't think for a second that I didn't expect for something like this to happen though, I've taken precautions and I highly recommend you keep this a secret for every one's sake.
[Private]
You're sorely mistaken if you think that will dissuade me. Again, though, I have no intention of moving so long as you are operating within acceptable boundaries.
Re: [Private]
I didn't, I just wanted you to know there would be consequences if you decided to act early, that's all.
no subject
[oh yeah shes heard about you.]
no subject
[It better not have been Ozpin, he just finished telling that guy what would happen if he talked. Jeez, he's going to need more bombs if this keeps up.]
no subject
I don't need to hear it from someone else to know what you did. Anyone could see it.
no subject
Unless you have something else to say I suggest you go away. Scram. I have lots of work to do.
no subject
I'm sure you do. I can't wait to see what you have planned.
[really, she cant wait for him to fuck up]
Aren't you kind of old to be any kind of guard?
[He's just going to grumble.]
Did you not listen to a word I said, you idiot!? I'll be building robots to defend the city, I'm not doing it myself!

[He probably wont be nice regardless though.]
