[Open] (I'm bored and I guess I'm looking for... is it CR?)
Who: Maria Gerald
Where: Garden Park, Genessia City
When: 2/11/2014
A deep breath. Then a sigh as her breath mists in the cold air.
Maria's feeling homesick. It's easy to feel that way when you're used to your feet hurting after walking up and down city blocks for six straight hours while carrying around three separate firearms and a sword. Compared to that, Genessia is a cakewalk. She's not even wearing her uniform now... why should she? She's not a soldier here. She's not "Corporal" Maria Gerald. She's just a twenty-three year old woman sitting alone on an iron park bench in a long white coat with a fluffy hood, thin red gloves, and some knee-high brown boots and black pants.
... And glasses of course.
It's awful. She was just starting to not feel homesick in Forge. She just stopped wishing she was back in Midori. Now she's here in Genessia, and wishing she was back in Ironhart. She's just so uneasy... where was the Captain when you needed his assurance? Or Galen, with his optimism and determination... She could really use those right now.
But none of that really matters. Not here in Genessia. Here, she's just a woman on a bench drinking coffee out of a Styrofoam cup... with a lot on her mind. But at least she's got a necklace... that means she's a real person, if anyone were to pass her by.

"From what I can tell, the other Guardians are fairly well-off. Attleton's Guardian is a very reserved man, and Nova City's new Guardian has a collection of robots at his disposal and has no need for human labour. Everglade's Guardian has a deputy, and I haven't heard anything from him, and Genessia's Guardian is... some kind of super hero."
"If I can't find a job anywhere using those skills, I can fall back on documentation. I could probably work at the library and be able to support myself since my home isn't very big. It's simply a one-bedroom unit... pretty much designed with just one tenant in mind. Perhaps I should show you those homes, since it sounds like you might be fine with them."

"Just what kind of trouble?"
He'll keep quiet as she describes the guardians, A roboticist, a superhero, a guy with a deputy and a another guy. Well sounds like they can do the job at least.
"Simple? That sounds like sounds like it'll be fine for me. If you don't mind taking me there, that'd be great."

Maria nods and leads him on his way towards the Matisse.
"I've heard that giant monsters have attacked in the past. But for as long as I have been here, it's been quiet. Nothing really dangerous... just elections ending unhappily."

"They must not be very subtle if that's the only word you can find for them." He might have to go out and find a bit more information on whoever these guys were, they sounded interesting at the very least.
"Giant monsters are simple enough, what went on with this election?" He had fought his fair share of giant monsters before, he'd help deal with one of those if they ever showed up again.
