[ Okay, the Bay has seen better days. Ralph wasn't super jazzed about waking up in a coffin and maybe his emotions got the better of him. There are a few peices of it scattered here and there. The largest peice is buried in the wall over there. He might have punched the walls and floor a few times. A lot of times. Look, someone should probably come check on the tectonic stability of the place, is what I'm saying.

Ralph stood in the center of the catastrophe, massive shoulders and arms heaving from the recent spat of activity as his temper slowly calmed down. It wasn't the most graceful entrance, someone could have easily heard it if they were wandering by.

Ralph looked around, noticing the box that used to be on his chest (not that he remembered it at all), as well as the archway at the end of the cavern. The Schnee Welcoming Committee stuff was pretty busted up. Pamphlets were scattered everywhere, and the holographic console was knocked over with some debris burying half of it. ]

[ Could Ralph use the buttons on this tiny tiny phone with his gigantic ham fisted fingers? To that he would say, 'ha!' ...that is, no. They were far too large. Fortunately the phone seemed to have some good context-sensitive programming so when he tried to shout at it, it seemed to open up a video for him. ]

HELLO?? Is anyone there?? I'm in a... cave? I guess?? It's pretty messed up. Someone- yeah it was like this when I got here, dang. Someone should uh- someone should clean this up, the mess. That I definitely was not involved in.

aNYWAY, where is-

[ He found the pamphlets but they are TINY and obviously designed for Nicelander-sized people. He's having trouble just picking one off the floor. ]

Stupid tiny papers. Where is this place supposed to be? It's not the arcade, obviously. [ Or else he would have been greeted by that ridiculously annoying surge protector. That's some relief, he supposed. ]

So your use to much smaller as well. Then I can understand how this place can be really intimidating.

There's also way more happening like people everywhere, cars going every direction. Too many buildings. All the craziness that I tried to avoid in the Grid.

Well sadly it's very similar is each city, but you can learn to get use to it. Sure, it can be crazy but you'll find it's not going to bother you to much, ro at least hope it doesn't.

Yeah, I'm sure. I mean, eventually something was gonna have to change. Thirty years is a long time for a game to be popular, and we've got a nice popularity boost now, but who knows how long that'll last.

Thirty years? Is that how old you are?

[goneturbo]

More or less. Some time went into development too.

[firefandance]

[She paused, development... okay she'll accept that even if that was a weird concept for her. But then again they are here so it couldn't be all that weird.]

So then adding that, how old?

[goneturbo]

I don't know. That information all gets wiped clean or at least hidden when the game gets put into working mode.

Not more than a couple years longer though, I imagine.

Interesting. Sorry if it does sound rude of me but if you are really from a game, it is not something I am use to. Games I've seen, sure but I mean a game character in out person, alive.

Well yeah, it kind of sounds impossible for everyone here to be 'real' people if I'm from a game. I'm made of computer code, how would I just walk around outside of a game?

[ It makes way more sense that everyone else here has just been written to not realize they're game characters. ]

It's something fun to think about really. But anyway, have you found a place to stay until you settle in more or do you need help?

Not really? My old place was a dump. [ He's not exaggerating, it was literally a dump. ]

Well... Is a dump of a place what you want while here? or something a little better?

I don't know. Never stayed anywhere else before.

...I could have like... a bedroom here? It'd have to be big.

You can have a bedroom, yes. I believe if you earn enough you can afford a decent sized room, but you might need to make a good amount.
