Incoming: CHOCOLATE
WHO: Orihime Inoue, OPEN!
WHAT: It's Valentine's Day, so she's going around giving chocolate to people. Though she's actively visiting the people she already knows, she did make extra in case she runs into someone she doesn't know. Come get some sugar.
WHEN: February 14th, 2014
WHERE: Mostly Genessia, but a few outbound cities too
NOTES: Opening is in prose, but feel free to use [Action] tags in the comments if that's easier!
Orihime had prepared for this day. She'd stayed up nearly all night, preparing fondants and rolling truffles, melting different kinds of chocolate for drizzling and mixing white chocolate with red food dye for pink and red decorations. It was a little expensive, but worth it in her opinion, and it made her feel like she was doing something productive and worthwhile.
When she was finally done, she crashed into bed right after she put the truffles in the fridge to chill, and was asleep instantly.
The next day saw her waking up a few hours later than usual, but no less energetic. She showered and dressed, bundling up as she prepared to weather the cold, and took her little boxes of chocolate truffles with her in a big crinkly plastic bag.
She still didn't know many people in the city, but she knew enough! Even the Ice King would be getting a box of chocolates today. And just in case she met someone she didn't know, she'd packed a few extras to take along. It never hurt to make a new friend!
Unless the new friend was a cackling villain who set people on fire, she supposed, so she actively avoided those types.

Adam stood, getting up and off the couch and remembered to put his mask back on. He reached the door, opening it and seeing none other than...
"Orihime," yes, he even made a point to remember a human's name. He was trying, okay.
"What do you want?"
no subject
She dropped her salute and opened up her bag, fishing out a square box wrapped in red paper and tied with silver string.
"I made them last night, so they're still very fresh. You'll probably want to refrigerate them if you don't eat them all right away," she advised.
no subject
Adam blinked from behind his mask, feeling a little confused. He didn't move to take the box from her, he just looked down at the box then back up to her eyes.
"Valentine's Day," he repeated her words, "....why did you make me chocolates?"
no subject
She gave the box a little wiggle, the truffles rattling in their papers. Go on, take it already!
"Come to think of it, do you have Valentine's Day where you're from? It's a pretty famous holiday in Japan, but I'm not sure how widespread it is."
no subject
Fine fine, he'll take the box. He reaches out to her and snags it, just wanting to get it away from her before she starts rattling it again.
"I wouldn't know, I wasn't very interested in holidays or anything," it's true, he never found any of that to be intriguing.
"Are these oddly flavored? I know you mentioned you're into that sort of thing."
no subject
And that was one down!
"I'd better go deliver the rest of these, but I'll be back later tonight. You can tell me if they turned out okay, ne?" Orihime beamed, hoping he wouldn't just throw the chocolates into the garbage as soon as his door was closed.
no subject
"Alright, I guess so."
He wouldn't, he'll try them. He barely ever remembers to eat anyways.

The Doctor was keeping his head down as he walked and didn't notice the poor woman until he barged right into her back. He managed to catch her by quickly hooking her waist in his arm.
At first he was furious for having his train of thought broken but then he spied the chocolate. Food always made everything better.
"Madam, are those truffles?"
no subject
"Oh? Oh, yes! I was handing them out to celebrate Valentine's Day," she beamed proudly. "Would you like some?" Not waiting for his response, she'd already plunged her hand into the bag to pick out a box. He wouldn't have asked if he didn't want any, right?

He's currently crouching in the shadows, wrapped up in mystery and illusion as any good ninja should be. Certainly, nobody would be able to spot him!
no subject
What? His reiatsu made him stick out like a sore thumb! To her, anyway.
She hadn't intended to interrupt his mission, but once she'd managed to spot him, curiosity had completely overwhelmed her. A real ninja! She just had to see what this was about! He might even want some chocolate too.

He walks pass the young girl without much thought, until something inside him wakes up and he casually does an about face and begins to follow her. Were those chocolates?
no subject
Instead she turned to blink over her shoulder, then beamed. "Happy Valentine's Day!" she wished him simply. She was having more luck finding strangers to gift with chocolate than people she actually knew. Go figure!
Since he seemed pretty keen on her bag, she plucked out a box and held it out. "Would you like some? I made extra just in case I met anyone new today."
no subject
And then she offered him some.
You are in the Lord's favor, my child.
Gabriel gave a big smile. "Really? All for me?" He already took it from her, though. No backsies now, lady.

Hopefully he didn't have severe diabetes.
Orihime made no move to snatch back the gift, instead content to hold her bag in both hands before her as she bowed lightly in greeting. He was wearing one of those necklaces, which meant he'd come here from some distant place. That made him immediately interesting. Besides, there was something jovial about his face that she just liked.
"I'm Orihime. Pleased to meet you!"
no subject
Thankfully, he didn't have severe diabetes. Just a terrible sweet tooth that was never really satisfied. He was so happy there were others here that apparently had the same tastes.
no subject
Realizing she'd forgotten her manners, Orihime started a little before bowing. "I'm Orihime. I almost forgot to introduce myself, ha ha!"

YAY WELCOME BACK!
"What about you? How should I address you?"
YAY THANK YOU I'm trying im sorry
It is the sort of thing he's into, yes.
Don't be sorry! I'm happy!
"I'll definitely make you more dessert then, Gabriel-san. Have you been in the city very long? Have you found a place to live that you like?"

But there he was, mulling around his Ice Palace until he heard a familiar voice yelling up towards the lone, solitary window. Looking outside curiously, he'd see that Orihime had made her way up the winding icy path towards his home. Normally he'd be grumpy, but instead, he perked up in elated glee. A girl actually came to visit him?!
"Oh it's you Ori! Hold on one second dear, I'll be right down," He calls down to her, ducking inside. He scurries to his bathroom in a hurry to open his (ice) medicine cabinet and take out some old musky cologne that he liberally sprayed onto his being. Too much, really, it made his robes a little soggy under the arms he'd drenched so much on there.
Then he came out, by hopping soaring out the window, beard flapping, until he gracefully landed in front of Orihime.
"Why hello there~ To h'what do I owe the pleasure of your esteemed... steamy-ness, m'lady?"
no subject
"Steaminess? Ha ha!" That was a new one. ...And what was that terrible smell? Maybe he hadn't bathed in a while. (Not in water, anyway.)
Once he'd landed, she presented one of her boxes of truffles. She'd piped a couple of winter-themed designs on the chocolates for his sake, like a tiny blobby snowman, and a simple snowflake.
"Happy Valentine's Day! I brought you some chocolate."
