[ When the video turns on, it is at an odd angle, hushed voices being just picked up. ]

"Is she gone yet?" "Not yet. Wait a sec."

[ And then the sound of a door closing, followed by mischievous giggling. The angle of the feed changes, this time showing a Lucy, smiling happily, brown eyes bright. ]

Hello everyone in Fayren, Genessia and more! If you don't know me, I'm Fairy Tail's Lucy, and I'd like to wish each and every one of you a very happy Valentine's Day. Of course, wishes aren't enough, so today only, I'm offering a free kiss to anyone who responds to this post! Aa, but if you see me on the street then you can collect on that offer of a kiss too. It's a special day for lovers, after all!

[ And she winks, coyly. ]

[ Lucy would be found in Genessia City mostly, picking up flowers to decorate the newly build Fairy Tail guild hall. She's also clueless to the massive, massive trolling that a certain Spirit just caused. She's in a pretty good mood, if a little jumpy at times. Distracted too, mostly with thoughts about the day and a certain person. In her other arm she carried some foody type ingredients for cooking. She's never too busy to say hi or make a friend though! ]

[ OOC: So yeah, Gemini decided to play a prank and copy Lucy's form while she was out. The actual Lucy will be a very confused summoner if someone takes Gemini-Lucy up on her suggestion though. By which I mean, feel free to harass Lucy, mwahaha. ]

[He finishes his chocolate and puts the box aside before getting up to head downstairs to join Lucy. Unaware of what's going on except for the faint sense of a chill.]

[ By the time Natsu's joined her downstairs, Lucy is waving a hand at the innkeeper, peering through the window and looking thorougly embarrassed as she commented absently to the woman; Natsu wouldn't come down THAT quickly would he? ]

Man that was creepy. He must have been looking all over Fayren - what are the odds that something like that would have happened?

[ She shudders a little, still creeped out by how close that guy got. Talk about not knowing the meaning of personal space! He made her skin crawl. Eewewew. ]

[He steps down the staircase before pausing in mid step at Lucy's frantic state. He tilts his head curiously and walks up to the girl.]

Lucy? What's wrong? And why does it feel cold around here?

[ And Lucy jumped a bit when Natsu joined her. Eep! He came down quicker than she expected. ]

Natsu! [ Phew. Thank god for his warmth. ] Nothing's wrong..!

[ Erm. Except he could probably smell the Ice King on her as close as he got. So she quickly amends her statement. ]

Anymore - it's taken care of. Someone was here a little while ago - I think the cold temperature is because of him.

[Of course he did. There's only so much chocolate.]

Oh really?

[He walks up to Lucy and leans in close enough to take a sold whiff to memorize the scent of the person who got her this flaily.]

Huh. Not someone I know.

[ And she freaks out even more. TOO CLOSE NATSU. TOO CLOSE TOO CLOSE. It's one thing for him to do that when there weren't people around to comment on the sight, but that wasn't the case here. The Innkeeper lady was RIGHT. THERE.

Typically her face flushed a bright red and she squealed, hands coming up to push him away as she flailed her way backwards. ]

Cut that out! What are you doing so suddenly, jeez!!

I don't know who the guy is either anyway..!

[Well he needs a good scent sample dangit! Only way to get it is from up close and personal.]

Well now I have his scent so if he comes anywhere near us I'll know.

[ It's the 'up close and personal' part that she took issue with! She glanced away, flustered. ]

Well I .. I don't think that guy's going to come back anytime soon, so.. don't worry. Even if we do see him, he'll probably have forgotten all about... that.

[WHy? It's not like it's the first time. Natsu can't count the number of times they were this close with the fingers on both hands.]

Oh so he fell for Gemini's message then?

[He's even more glad for finding her first then.]

[ Yes, but the difference there is they were alone most of those times. It's different when there's someone around to titter at it. ]

Yeah. Speaking of which. you must have given them a scare.

[ Understatement. He put the fear of DRAGONS in them. ]

[Surely the inkeeper wasn't that big on gossip. After all travelers came and went with regularity didn't they?]

Oh really? Good then. They can stop bothering you.

[ Fortunately no. Though she might give them the occasional knowing grin in the 'aww cute couple?' sense. She won't say anything though, and Lucy's flusteredness will thank her for it. ]

Eh...? Natsu... they weren't bothering me. They were just playing around.

[ She's too enabling and forgiving sometimes. But then she also didn't blame Aquarius during the Games when the mermaid spirit abandoned her for a date with Scorpio. ]

[So in other words a nicer Mira.]

You look bothered to me.

[And flustered and flaily and a bunch of other things.]

[ Precisely! ]

I'm not, I'm not...! Honest.

[ It was inconvenient when people started leering at her and that creepy guy showed up but she didn't hold it against Gemini who was only working on order from the dark fluffy master. ]

[He's looking straight at her now. STRAIGHT on as if to peel away any lie.]

Okay. I'll believe you. Still he might not be the last.

[ She blanches a little, but she meets his gaze because she was honestly not fibbing. Even though she wanted to look away when she felt her cheeks growing warm. ]

Maybe... I'll just have to wait it out until tomorrow.

[ It's only slightly inconvenienced her... and not even really that, considering the company she's with, right? ]

[He didn't really think she was lying but he wanted to make sure.]

I'll come with you anyway.. But for now what do you wanna do?

[The best company clearly.]

[ Lucy grinned, nodding. No complaints here - now that she got a few seconds to get her head in order (mostly) anyway. ]

Hrm. I could do some more reading of those books I got from the library.. [ But Natsu would be bored to tears watching her read. Not that she'd want him to sit there watching her - that'd be....weird. ]

And the important things I wanted to do I've already done. What about you? [ She didn't want to be the only one to have completed her agenda. ]

[He grins right back, happy that she agreed to go through with that decision.]

Oh? You brought some more of those back with you?

[He doesn't sound bored yet so that's promising isn't it?]

Me? Well I did finish my training by the lake before I saw your message. I mean Gemini's message.

[ eheh. She's gonna keep the subject off of of Gemini's message for both of their sanity. ]

No, I just wrote about the most recent things that we've done back home, and in Exsilium. [ She's pleasantly surprised he didn't sound bored though. ...she doesn't think she's going to tell him about her journal documenting the Christmas party. That was a little too revealing. ]

Do you want to see?

[That's probably for the best really.]

Oh you did?

[He's curious though and quite honestly he didn't expect her to ask him that.]

Sure, why not?

[ Lucy grinned. She knows he's always been curious about her writing, and he's never had a bad thing to say about it yet so. She beckoned with a hand to lead him back upstairs to her room. Now that she did some decent shopping she was able to put her thoughts down in spiral notebooks and things. Heck she might even get a typewriter one day! ]

Here we go.

[ She pulled open a drawer, and started picking through some of her books. Not showing him the writing on the Eclipse Gate, nosir. Not when he lived through her future self's death - both of them did. So instead she tugged out the book she wrote on their trip to the Sun Village. ]

[Honestly it was only after her that he got that interest. After all he never pestered Erza or Levy about books. But iwht Lucy that didn't seem to be a problem.]

Sweet.

[He grabs a spare chair and takes a seat next to Lucy so he can look at the book alongside with her.]

[ STrangely she never really thought about the strangeness of that. Sure she knew he wasn't one to read much (if at all ) but -- no, better not to think about it too much. When he pulled over the chair, she automatically scooted closer and held the book up. ]

Here, remember the Sun Village? [ How coul d he forget? ]

I think I'm going to show this one to Blake - she said she was interested in seeing something about one of our adventures.

[It's just one of those things that felt natural after a while. He still didn't read novels but being with Lucy somehow made it all far more interesting. THe only exception being the sneak peeks he'd gotten of her own novel.]

Of course I do. That's where we found that uncle and the great Giants who really knew how to party!

[He smiles brightly just remembering that whole encounter. Even if it had a shred of sadness since the Dragon's spirit was extinguished to thaw out the frozen village.]

Ohhh that's a good one. You could add the Galuna one too since it had that tribe of fun demons.
