[Azalea sighs as she reads the paper about the recent overnight monster attack. Then she becomes enraged when she reads the note from the Hands of Decay. To her, it almost seems like a hidden confession that they were the ones who perpetrated it. The timing was just too perfect.]
So these "Hands of Decay" are trying to convince everyone that the monster attack is the work of a mage. Do they have any proof? How do we know this attack wasn't committed by the Hands of Decay themselves? I'm more likely to believe this whole charade was orchestrated by them than any other story.
And even if the attack was committed by a lone mage? You can't condemn a whole group just for one person's actions! Isn't it also strange that they're only targeting mages within Fayren? I don't understand what they're trying to accomplish here.
If these attacks are going to continue at night, then perhaps I should begin patrolling at night. I can stay out of sight by staying off the ground.

Pretty sure monster summoning is well within a mage's purview there, twerp.
I like how you're convinced you're right no matter what though. "It probably wasn't a mage. But if it was, doesn't matter!" That's some bulletproof stupid. What's the ceiling on how many mages it'll take ****'ing with things before you wise up?
And yeah, most crimes take place at night. Your detective career is off to a great start, Sherlock.

When did I say it didn't matter? I said that if one mage commits a crime, you can't punish them all! You think that when one person does something wrong, everyone should die for it!? There's no justification for genocide, you horrid beast!
If you ally yourself with the Hands of Decay, you'll get no mercy from any of us, me least of all. And you're not very wise either if you have the gall to anger a dragon!

These guys are propagandists, all right? Well, everyone is, but stay with me on this. They're trying to convince people that mages are dangerous (they are), and this makes their case look good.
What makes their case look better, on the other hand, are your retarded identity politics. At least two people are dead, and you're whinging about mage solidarity. Is one incident all it takes before you go flying into "us vs. them" conniptions?
Actually...hold on, am I being played? Are you a plant put in place to make mages look like trigger-happy, heartless psychopaths? I did think it was a little weird for the first public response to be this obtuse.
Well nice try, HoD stooge, but I'm not buying it. Still, props. Finding someone this unbalanced to color the opposition is pretty slick. But you overplayed your hand. No mage could look this this bad unless they were paid.

And in case you haven't noticed, I'm not the only one who opposes this group. In fact, I have yet to see anyone else besides you who supports them! Now, you'd be wise to not speak to me anymore, because if I ever see you in person, I will burn you alive!
[She probably won't, since she'll probably be calmer by then...unless he chooses to piss her off again. Regardless, she cuts off the feed. She's had enough of this madman.]
[Action Hijack]
"Please don't work yourself up over this, okay? We can go out and look some more for these people. They aren't very nice, are they?" Koishi tilted her head a little. "Humans hating humans for magic is something that sometimes happens. But..." She pursed her lips. "I never understood why they hate other humans using magic but not monsters. It doesn't make sense to me."
[Action Hijack]
"But how can I not get worked up over this? 'Not very nice,' is an understatement. This isn't just an attack on mages...it's an attack on Fayren itself."
[Action Hijack]
"I know. It's disgusting what these people are doing but biting back is just what they want us to do right now. We're already hunting them down. We've been following leads. We will catch them. I promise. Until them we have to be careful and remain calm... Once we catch them though we'll show no mercy."
[Action Hijack]
[Azalea placed her talons on either side of her head, as if to contain an explosion.]
Stay calm...and then...no mercy...
[Action Hijack]
[Action Hijack]
She thinks of her clan once more, wishing they were here. Because beating the shit out of offenders is more Qubine's thing than hers.
[Action Hijack]
She huffed a little bit. "I don't really have any desire to torture a human. Even when they deserve it. It brings out some really negative things in me."
[Action Hijack]
[Action Hijack]
[Action Hijack]
An eye for an eye, she's thinking.
"What would you suggest then, besides torture?"
[Action Hijack]
Not that being a real person or not would stop Koishi from killing someone if need be.
[Action Hijack]
Assuming these Hands of Decay were human, Azalea finds her morality challenged when killing humans, as opposed to killing beasts.
"But if people without an amulet aren't living things, then what are they?"
[Action Hijack]
[Action Hijack]
Azalea sighed again, growing tired. She had gotten herself too worked up over this issue...

[She wasn't sure what the pendants really did, but hasn't bothered to take hers off.]

That doesn't bring us any closer to them, though.

We can't just aimlessly look around and hope to get lucky. These people are resourceful, organized, and capable of getting an obvious advantage over wizards, which isn't easy to do. Just watching isn't going to be enough.
[He looks thoughtful for a moment.]
We're going to have to play their game.

( video )
[He pauses.]
We should make them think they have.

[She shrugs, not really sure how to go about that. But she'll try anything at this point.]

I'm going to consider helping out here a bit more since I don't use magic. I hope that will help me in some way.
video;
[She actually hasn't heard either way.]
Perhaps it will help...but I have a bad feeling they won't stop if they succeed in getting rid of all mages.
video;
[She knew they wouldn't stop, that was why she wanted to try and beat them from within. If it's possible.]
I have that feeling as well... But I'm hoping that if they notice me and know about my dislike for dark magic that they might let me in. If I can...I can try and destroy it from within. Might seem dangerous, but it's the most logical thing to do.
