2nd Aura | Video
[The video begins with Jaune adjusting it so everyone can see the new kitchen. On the pristine counter rests an unopened bottle of whiskey, two shot glasses (one of which is nearly overflowing with water), and a trading card. Jaune and Weiss are standing at the counter.]
What exactly am I doing here, Jaune?
I’m glad you could come, Weiss. Have you ever been into drinking tricks before?
No. [ Weiss was clearly the most encouraging of all of Jaune’s endeavors. ]
[His shoulders slump a little. Just a little. But he’s determined, so he steels himself and continues on confidently.] Well, I’m going to change your mind! Not only will you be left in awe by my...talents, but this is a skill that takes a lot of tries to actually master. Check this out.
[ Weiss crosses her arms, looking honestly doubtful about everything Jaune’s said. But she’s learned to be at least a little nicer to him. A little. He’s done things that have at least proven to her that letting him finish his sentence is acceptable, and she’s willing to at least see what he has in store. Who knows, maybe it’ll actually surprise her. ]
[Jaune smiles like a puppy way too eager to please. This is his chance to impress Weiss! He even turned on the video so everyone could see this. If he were honest, he had just discovered the trick, and hadn’t had any time to practice. But it didn’t look difficult, and this seemed like a good time to try it.]
Okay, Weiss. Don’t look away.
[Opening the bottle of whiskey, he keeps eyeing her out of the corner of his eye to make sure she’s still paying attention. He fills the empty glass with whiskey, miraculously not spilling any, and puts his expendable trading card on top of the glass of water. He takes a deep breath because he only has one chance at this. He flips the glass of water over…]
[But apparently doing so when your hands are sweaty from nerves isn’t a good idea because the card slips, allowing the water to splash all over the counter as well as anyone nearby. Jaune drops the glass out of shock onto the one filled with whiskey, spilling it too in the process.]
[Weiss jumps back with both of her hands up, since he most definitely got it all over her, a loud yelp passing her lips in surprise. Her voice jumps at least six octaves in a split second. When she puts her hands down, she narrows her eyes right at Jaune and balls her fists up. ]
What is wrong with you!? You just got that all over our brand new kitchen!
[Oh no Weiss is mad. Which isn’t that surprising but this was not the direction he wanted this to go in. He smiles nervously, fear obvious in his eyes, and holds up his hands to try to appease her. The fact that this is on video is forgotten. Priorities.]
That’s not the trick! It’s supposed to-- You’re supposed...it’s really impressive, I promise! Just let me try again, I have enough whiskey, and we still have water, and and maybe...let me get a towel first!
[ Weiss had given him a chance. She had. She really really had tried and now she smelled like a distillery and this was not what she wanted to deal with tonight. ]
Clean this up, I’m going to go take a shower. Don’t try that again inside the house, Jaune. You’re lucky you didn’t try to pull that in a room with carpet!
[ It doesn’t take long for Weiss to dab the worst of it out with a towel, stomping with every step as she heads upstairs. She is so done tonight. ]
[Weiss smells lovely no matter what. Jaune opens his mouth, still trying to turn this around.]
So is there a chance you’d watch outside? Maybe on a warmer day. That should give you some time in advance...because--
Because you’re so busy.
[But She’s already walking away. He thought it was a good plan because then he could practice and master the skill. He ends up running after her until he’s no longer in sight, though he does give up following her.]
[Ten minutes later, Jaune finally remembers he left the video on. He walks back to his videophone, disappointment crossing his face when he realizes it didn’t stop recording. Oh well. He looks like he’s about to say something, but he just looks away awkwardly and turns off the feed.]
[ooc: Blue is Weiss and Red is Jaune!]

[With her hair wet and without the heels, she looks like a tiny beautiful angry melting snow angel.]
[But she's probably angry about the other incident. So maybe it's time to apologize.]
I'm sorry I spilled it on you. Did it stain anything?

Ib's pretty sure she knows what he's trying to do and having worked at a bar she's learned more than a few tricks to impress people. Not that she does them but knowing them is always a plus. Once she's finished with laughing she turns on the feed though there is still a smile pulling across her lips.]
Do you want me to teach you how to do that correctly so that you can impress your girlfriend there?
Video
It's a pretty complicated trick. Do you think you can do better?

video;
Forgive me, but did you even bother practicing before attempting such a delicate trick on a live feed?
video;
My number of trading cards is limited and I only have so much whiskey. No I didn't practice.
