[Well, this was certainly a fine case of deja vu. One minute, he was standing with Nagase at their fallen wingman's grave, the next he was waking up in a pod. A very familiar pod at that. It didn't even need a flip of the pamphlet inside the box for Blaze to put two and two together- he was in this place again.

At least he didn't have the shock of seeing Nova City first this time, and he didn't have to swim out of the Bay. He hung around the hologram to see if there was any new information, but when there wasn't, he clicked on the videophone - which he takes immediate notice that it was upgraded in his absence. Returning to this place and recognizing it felt so odd, it almost felt like he was dreaming.]

This is Blaze of Osea's 108th Tactical Fighter Squadron- [He pauses a moment, realizing that he was repeating himself from last time. Whoops.]

Never thought I'd be saying "I'm back" at a place that isn't home. If possible, I'd like to request a sitrep on what's happened since I was gone. If memory serves, I was here in... May.

[Hey, check it out- someone who left the hologram alone upon arriving! He salutes then to end the feed and lets out a quiet sigh. He'll need to search for a job and a home again. So much for a trip to Gran Rugido.]

The transition of coming here was more bearable. Nova City was the first thing I saw the last time.

[That sure was weird. Speaking of weird, he also remembers nearly getting beamed in the head by the paper boy.]

Nova City... I don't think I've been there yet. Genessia's the closest to New York City.

[She hums softly before continuing.]

There isn't anywhere here like the small town I come from.

[He'd never heard of that city, but he could chalk it up to the 'different worlds' thing Genessia had going on.]

It does remind me a little of Bana City.

[Although the memories that came with thoughts of Bana City were a little unwelcome.]

Have you been to Attleton?

Nope.

[She's quick to answer.]

I really haven't explored that much. Anything... I haven't explored anything.

[She did say she just arrived, so that wasn't surprising. He's a little lucky that he has prior knowledge, in that regard.]

Attleton might be closer to what you're used to. It's much smaller than Genessia City.

[Really, he's surprised he remembers this much. Although he did have to remember every minute detail for just about everything in the military, so maybe it wasn't really that surprising at all.]

Really? I'll have to check it out. [Though she doesn't know if she wants to be reminded of home considering she had run away from home. She's at least a little bit curious.]

Where are you from?

Osea. I was born in the nation's capital city, Oured.

[He was pretty used to cities just based on that, but that city life is probably what made him enjoy his time at Sand Island so much... well, up until the whole mess started by Hamilton. He sounds a little uncomfortable then, probably because the realization of what he was about to say was just... weird.]

I've... found that no one that I met here before knew of the Osean Federation.

[He pauses while he thinks, not sure if he should say 'yes' or 'no' here. But. Well. In truth...]

[That and a few random stores that Airy will miss if they aren't in this world too. As it is she is finally able to charge her phone from home which just means she has access to her music. She'd probably go crazy without it.]

[He sounds reassuring as possible, he really doesn't mind.]

I don't know too much about this world. My initial stay wasn't very long.

[It didn't really make any sense. He couldn't even begin to fathom what even causes it, and every answer he'd think of would just sound like it comes straight out of a science fiction novel.

[She honestly likes having the time to sort out her thoughts.]

[Honestly, he's not entirely sure how to respond to her with that. If only because it sounds awkward to hope for someone that they get to stay kidnapped longer. So he'll just go a different route with it!]

I even met someone who knows me. He's really nice.

[Blaze was a little thankful that video was off since he cracked a small, but pained smile. He couldn't help but feel a little envious. He does try to hide it in his voice.]

It's good that you have a companion. That helps make things a lot easier.

Yeah though I don't remember him... it's a little awkward.

[Because he knows her favorite food and weird things like that.]

[He seems briefly puzzled, not really directing his next question at her and more just wondering aloud.]

Can this place take people from different times?

[It was an odd thought for sure. He stays silent for a moment, his mind wandering off over the idea of one of his wingmen arriving. If the place could possibly pluck people from different times, then maybe... ...

Blaze catches himself in his thoughts and quickly shakes his head, trying his best to ignore the pain his chest while carrying on like nothing happened.]

I can imagine how that'd be strange.

[Airy can't say no, this place doesn't do that, because it has. She's happy that it hadn't been as awkward as it could have been but it's still an odd sort of situation.]

[He gets a little startled by the question. He hadn't realized he'd gotten wrapped into his thoughts long enough for her to notice.]

Ah- yes, I'm fine. My mind went elsewhere for a minute.

[Airy hums softly.]

Okay.

[She doesn't completely believe him but she isn't going to push the matter. They've only really just met... it's probably all in her head anyway.]
