Huh, well this is new...

So what is this place exactly? This is definitely not Japan, not in the slightest. I've only recently lived in Hinamizawa, but I did live in the city for a while... Anyone have a pointers of some sorts for me? Appreciate it.

Do you have computers in your world?

Well, I live in an old-fashioned village. Haven't really had the chance to fiddle with those bulky computers really when I lived in the city. I was busy studying.

Considering most jobs require being able to use computers nowadays you probably should've learned that anyway, old fashioned village or not. Therefore, "stupid" stands. [ And yet she's smiling. ]

Give me a break. My school only has one classroom and teacher. That's dedication right there!

How does one teacher teach all of the subjects?

Good question. I usually tutor my friends, but she also goes around and help the other students.

Most people don't know all of that well enough to help. It's like that little girl in the movie about the aliens with the flashy things. The one with the Quantum Physics book.

I don't think I've seen that movie, so I'm afraid you've lost me there.

It's some American movie, anyway, don't worry about it.

Americans really do make interesting movies... like that one with the blob terrorizing everything in its path.

What? Why would anyone watch a movie about a blob?

I don't know, but it was scary at the time.

Is it actually scary or are you just a chicken?

It was when I was little. Dad wanted to watch it for artistic purposes and thought it would appropriate for me to watch.

Dad got a kick out of seeing my reactions - said it really helped bring out his creative juices. It was horrible.
