[Midboss figured that with the influx of new people into Genessia, it was high time he reintroduced himself. After all, having people within the cities who didn't know who he was? That was just unthinkable! It would also give reassurance to the people who saw his last video feed - where he was more consumed by his own misery than anything else. And thus, he opened up a video, as he sat in midair, hovering above the Attleton Arena.]

Ahahaha! Greetings, to everyone in the five cities. I trust you're all doing well? For all you poor, unfortunate people who have yet to meet me, I am the City Guardian of Attleton - the Dark Adonis, Vyers! A truly flattering title, n'est-ce pas?

As you may have gathered, I am a Demon hailing from the Netherworld, although I have been living in Genessia for nearly 2 years now. If any newcomers have any questions about the world, or have anything they need assistance with, please come speak with me. I normally spend a few hours a day at the Attleton Arena, so that is the best place to start.

On that subject, if there is anyone here seeking a challenge, I accept any and all who seek to spar against one of my power and prowess!

[He paused a moment, reaching to grab an 'Attleton Guardian' figurine from his pocket, showing it to the camera. Let's not mention the fact he's probably spent rather a lot of money gathering multiple mini-Midboss'.]

By the way, I see that a toy company of extremely good taste have taken the time to make little figures of moi! Aren't they just darling? They captured my beauty perfectly.

[That done, he returned to his office to make a more important post. The situation - especially that with Weiss and Cinder - was becoming more and more concerning. He needed to make sure all the guardians were on the same page. Settling down at the desk in his office, he placed his little figurine down before speaking.]

Considering the recent events, I believe it is of upmost importance that we can work together as a cohesive unit. When a crisis strikes the cities and it is one of the rare situations we need more power than my own, we have a far greater chance of a quick solution if we work as a group. That way, we can also avoid stepping on each other's toes.

For that reason, I suggest we meet up in a week's time - to discuss our plans and the situations in our cities, and put together a plan of action for any such 'crisis' situations.

And with this kind of thing we can help each other with problems in each others cities should it be called for. After all we all have probably some problems we cannot handle alone.

My thoughts exactly. After all, whilst there is very little in the five cities that I cannot swiftly defeat, there are times it would benefit all of us to bring some extra force.

Yeah, I mean that is mostly aimed at non natives that like to cause problems, right?

I like that idea. I'm not sure why the cities don't work together more...

Neither do I. There is a large difference between invading other people's territory and collaboration, certain people here seem to lack an understanding of that.

I cannot speak for Guardian Satori, of course, but I will have to decline the offer on two accounts. For the first, Fayren's resources are already being stretched thin with the investigation into the Hands of Decay, and that is my top priority.

Second, I believe this entire situation is being blown far out of proportion. With the collective power of those in office, to dedicate this much manpower to the restraint of a single person feels needlessly overdone. I've seen what you are capable of, Vyers, and you alone should be capable of besting this 'Cinder' in single combat, as could I, or Guardian Satori, or Guardian Haller, or any number of individuals in Genessia, and to create this much of a fuss is simply unneeded.

[Hm. It seemed like they were in agreement.]

Perhaps I did not word myself clearly. I assure you, by 'recent events' I was by no means referring to this Cinder problem alone - there is an issue in Attleton with a powerful demon by the name of Diablo who is still at large, the political problems in Everglade and - as you mentioned - the Hand of Decay in Fayren. All of these issues, I feel, could benefit from some pooled resource, especially if your own are struggling.

With that in mind, if you still don't wish to attend, that is entirely up to you. You are a capable force in your own right, but feel free to call on my help regardless if you need it. Still, I appreciate the vote of confidence.

Believe me, I don't like the way this situation with Cinder is being dealt with, nor do I like Weiss' assumption that she holds authority in many of the cities.

I'd be happy to participate. I mentioned wanting to do something like that multiple times during my campaign and even discussed it with Fai. Teamwork has never been anything but a positive force when it comes to goals, even if certain individuals have a history of refusing to aid anyone outside of their direct city.

[ Yeah, she hasn't forgot about Mewtwo outright stating he wouldn't help during the Lucifer thing. SHE'LL BE MAD AT HIM NO MATTER WHAT ~~even if mun is initially a dumbass and read something wrong!~~ At least she hasn't heard from Fairy Tail yet. ]

Hopefully that will be remedied and we can all actually accomplish the job we were elected to do: protect people, together.

I won't hazard a guess at who you're referring to, yet I'm sure you realise that snide remarks about others here is rather against our aims of working together as well, non? It hardly fosters a collaborative environment.

Either way, protecting the people of the five cities should be our upmost priority, yes.

Hm, well there's nowhere not covered by one City or another. I suppose the Bay is the closest we have.

Ah, alas, if only I had called in the Dark Assembly. They make the perfect backdrop for political discussion like this, at least back in the Netherworld.

The Bay is a little... wet.

[ A brief pause. ] I can freeze some of the surface area so we can have solid ground if you'd like. I'm not sure how long it will stay, though, the Bay's water seems not to freeze even when it's cold outside.

The Dark Assembly? [ That doesn't sound like something good people want listening in on their discussions! ]

While I'm all one for a good brawl, is it true that demons are just that bored that they just... fight to pass the time? No offense or anything, it just seems a common stereotype, but I doubt they'd demean themselves so much.

Hmhm, there is certainly nothing wrong with a fight or two to pass the time. Of course, lesser demons do wreak havoc simply out of boredom, I personally use it as a chance to demonstrate my beauty to the Netherworld. There's nothing demeaning about a little fun, non?

Not at all, this is a notion I can personally agree with. What's life without a little something to spice it up?

Too true. That said, I wouldn't mind having a spar with you. I've been here a few months without one, compared to the combative climate of my homeworld. It'd be a good refresher!
