[Genessia City Hospital, evening. There's a well-built man in his late thirties sitting on the edge of a bed, rubbing his temples to help his world swim back into focus. He lets out a rueful chuckle before turning to his device.]

As far as 'surprise, you've been kidnapped' holograms go, that one was really helpful. But it really needs to warn you about pushing the city limits.

[He gives the world beyond his window the briefest of looks... including the moon in the night sky. He seems to draw strength from this before going on.]

So: hello, Genessia. Name's Marc Spector. Ex-mercenary, current... well, I've been all kinds of things. Anybody know what's really going on here? Aliens? Prison experiment? Or am I dead and you're all part of some really weird afterlife?

[A soft snort and a thoughtful aside at that last one, almost a whisper. Listen closely enough and you might hear it.]

...wouldn't be the first time.

I'm quite sure you're not DEAD, but I wish I knew what was going on, myself. From what I've heard, it's rather dull at times here.

[He shakes his head, bit of a grin tugging at his lips. No need to take that seriously, of course.]

Seeing as I'm a new arrival, I haven't found much just yet. Maybe tinkering with a few items I scrounged up for a project for starters.

[His soft chuckle disguises the weird little vibes he just got. Something about her emphasis on those particular words. He pushes it aside for now.]

Guess there's an artist in every jail.

[Shrugs and looks out the window again.]

Well, I'll take the quiet life any day. There's only so much merc work you can do before you have an epiphany. S'why I left.

That's one worry down. Because if I were really dead, I'm not sure I'd make it back this time.

...I really hope it isn't aliens. The fallout is always hell, especially in New York.

New York feels like it has the biggest target out of every city. Could be because of the Avengers and all. But I don't know, maybe Aliens like to do a bit of sightseeing before attacking.

Stupid, yeah. But I've never been a fan of doing what I'm told.

I've noticed the pamphlets do leave some things out and no we don't know what brought us here.

[She feels bad that he went to the city limits.]

Maybe we can add more to the information provided? [Not that it's Levy's job to do so but she enjoys helping. Which is why she's so busy all the time.]

This is all pretty damn solid for heaven, though, so I think we can rule that out.

[ As someone who has the ability to both revive the dead and make them immortal, he'd like to know. ]

I hardly believe that this is Heaven, because then it would be much more boring than it is here.

As far as we know, none of those. But unfortunately we don't have too many answers about this place either.

How long have you all been here? How long has this place been around?

I've been here roughly half a year by now. I'm not sure how long the cities have been around, but I know there were folks who had stayed here for a year when I arrived. Some possibly longer.
