[At first Dairine tried not to think too much of Conan's lateness. The guy was often busy with errands and other distractions, so some irregularities in his schedule could be expected. Yeah, the recent disappearances kept popping to mind, but Conan was more competent than he looked. Surely he wouldn't go running off to investigate them without mentioning it, right?

...Oh who was she kidding. He absolutely would.

With an aggravated moan, Dairine snaps on the audio function for her communicator. Her voice is rather tight and angry sounding. It serves as a good mask for her nerves as she tries not to think about the wendigo incident.]

Has anyone seen Conan Edogawa wandering around? He's really tiny, looks about seven years old? Short black hair, blue eyes, huge glasses... and talks way too smart for someone so DUMB!!

[Whoops, there went her composure. Dairine takes a deep breath and clears her throat.]

Er, if so, let me know right away.

[It really is serious. However, it's an hour or so later before Dairine gives him a call back.]

Yo, Cat Noir. This is Dairine. We think that Conan has gone into a subarchway in Attleton. No idea where it leads though.

[ Finally, a lead. ]

Only one way to find out. Be right there.

[Dairine gives him the directions to the subarchway.]

[When he gets there, Cat Noir will find two others standing there: a guy in a white suit and a much shorter girl with bright red hair, jeans, and a spring jacket. She is typing on a silver laptop as she waits. Not too unusual, though the computer's Apple logo doesn't have a bite mark out of it.]

[ He lands neatly on the ground, his staff ready. ]

The subway, huh? Maybe there are hidden tunnels.

[ Good thing for Dairine, KID has already met Cat Noir.

He gives the other a nod in greeting. ]

Knowing Tantei-kun, it wouldn't surprise me if he stumbled into something like that.

He does have rather rotten luck.

[Dairine clicks the computer's lid shut, looking up at Cat Noir and Kid. Man, secret identities seem to come with... somewhat questionable fashion choices.

Ah, whatever. Dairine has seen stranger clothes in her lifetime. So long as they can hold their own, they can wear whatever they want.]

With a gate like this, there could be anything. We have no idea which person created this subarchway.

Best assume trouble will be waiting on the other side. You two ready for some action?

[ He twirls his staff. ]

I'm ready. Let's get that kid out of here.
