You are invited to my Birthday Party!
I’m turning 16 and I want to celebrate with everyone.

[The Cat’s Eye has been closed for the party though all are welcome to come in. They don’t even need to know Sakura personally. Inside are pink and tan streamers draped along the walls with bright balloons tied to chairs and flowers placed as center pieces on tables. There are a few figures of the deputy guardian mixed in with the decorations thanks to Fai wanting to completely embarrass the birthday girl.

Despite turning 16 it looks more like a child’s party with the intent to have fun. There is pin the tail on the donkey set up, a piñata hanging in the corner that is in the shape of a flower, birthday cake and strawberry Jell-o.]

[ooc: feel free to make top posts and mingle. There are mostly sweets and snacks set out for people to eat and maybe a scavenger hunt later?? If I can think of something for that idea.]

[The puppy does seem quite content on doing his own thing. Gale chuckles, reaching down and petting Gunner's back. Gunner does seem to perk up more at the mention of treats.]

Uh oh, that's one word he's well familiar with.

[Sakura does keep dog treats in the store so she's quick to fetch them. When she comes back there are five treats arranged on a small party plate.]

[She looks up at Gale.]

I hope you enjoy the party. I have pin the tail on the donkey.

[And that? Is the look of an excited puppy, Gunner hopping up on his hind legs to try to look adorable to her so he gets the treats faster.]

Ah, Gunner. I haven't trained the begging out of you yet, have I?

[He sighs in amusement, putting his hands on his hips and shaking his head. That dog's too adorable for his own good.]

Hey, when I'm in your company, I always enjoy it.

But you're 16, huh? Anyone get you your first car yet?

[Sakura laughs as she gives Gunner the treats. He is by far the cutest dog ever and she loves him to pieces. At Gale's question she looks up, her smile still fixed in place.]

I've flown in a race before but no one has bought me my own car.

[She's actually a very good driver.]

16's the ideal age to get one! Or... the traditional age, at least. My sisters and I just got jets instead.

[Which are way cooler. It also helped that they were mercenaries.]

Unfortunately, I don't think I can get you hooked up with one of those. Unless I got one of those subarchway things. Still not sure I'd do that.

[Though seeing Sakura in an alterna frame would be both adorable and potentially worrisome. But probably adorable... so long as it wasn't his Gripen, anyway.]

[She'd really like that. Sakura probably has enough money to by herself a car or bike.]

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to. I got a bike pretty quickly, and money isn't exactly hard to come by here.

[He looked away innocently, putting his arms behind his back.]

We could always go lookin' for something for ya, buuut I'm not so sure I'd be such a good driving instructor.

[Given that she knows he's not exactly the safest of drivers.]

[She grins up at him as if this isn't a problem at all.]

Ya do? Phew, perfect. I'd be the worst teacher.

[Especially when his driving life consists of "traffic laws? what are those?"]

Who knows, kid? Maybe we could go out and get ya something in a few days. Maybe even a cool motorcycle like mine.

Just tell me when and I'd be happy to take ya. The place I got my bike do some pretty fine work.

[And if she wanted one, this would definitely cover the real gift that he owed her.]

Okay! We can go in a little bit? I am going to make sure it's okay with Fai.

[She doesn't imagine that her mother will have a problem with it.]

Sure thing, kid. I don't wanna cross Mama Bear.

[He has no idea if Fai's actually like that, but he's at least certain that he must be Sakura's guardian, so obviously he's gotta make sure he stays on Fai's good side. All Everglade Guardian business aside.]

[Sakura nods, she isn't going to argue that Fai is like a mama bear because he is.]

[Probably not, but he takes his bike back to that shop all the time for upkeep and tune-ups. Surely he deserved some kind of loyalty reward!]
