Has anyone ever given up a memory of someone special and have them turn up later on? I found that happened to me recently and now I feel awful about it.

I feel like I hurt them so much by not being able to recognize them, yet can remember everything we did together. Because of this I don't know what to do. So I was wondering if anyone ever had such a thing happen how do you handle it?

Can things still be the same or will it forever be different?

I've lost my memories before and I do know what it's like though I regained them over time. I don't have many people important to me though so I don't know.

Yes but these were memories that were lost and not missed. I've had someone tamper with my memories before.

It's fine. It wasn't exactly something I was open about. I mean I didn't want to worry anyone.

I have my reasons for not saying, the worry thing was the top of the list though.

I don't believe so, since I mentioned it's the world that punishes us for something like dying. At least this is what I am guessing anyway.

Damn. Ditched your friend and got nothin' to show for it. You might wanna hide that last part; if your friend knew they were first on the chopping block they'd be pissed. Hopefully they're the forgiving type; if not, you might wanna practice your kneeling. Gonna take some work getting back into their good graces.

I didn't forget them fully. I just seem to forget what they looked like. But even so we can rebuild what we had and he is still important to me. Like even if I forgot you, you'd still be important to me.
