[since robin has been around for a few days she has already gotten a grasp of this place. she had been asking certain questions to the right kind of people- but now she wanted to address everyone entirely.]

Hello everyone- I suppose I'll start this off with an introduction. My name is Robin, I was a tactician for a group called the Shepherds back home. I won't be asking very much about this place- I luckily gained all the knowledge I really needed from that girl back at the bay. [ty based hologram.]

However, I still have a few inquiries. How many of you were aware of the Outrealms before initially coming to this place? I believe the worlds out there are just other forms of Outrealms, if my terminology is confusing that is.

And.... I suppose I am curious about the timeline involved in this sort of place. I understand there are those that have come back from the dead here- which only leads me to believe that this space is working with time completely differently. Perhaps it reverses time for those that have passed-? ....Just a theory, really, I don't mean to become too much of a downer.

One last thing- I hear there are weapons here that don't break after a certain amount of use? Fascinating, I must know the secret, I would love to strengthen my Levin Sword and tomes that I have with me.

Oh. [ there's no change in expression that would indicate he finds anything she's saying ridiculous or doubts it for a second. he just nods along. it makes perfect sense. sometimes you need to kill yourself. sometimes future you shows up with a horrible warning.

Kind of relieved future me hasn't shown up possessed yet. [ wow. why did he go there. that is horrifying. possessed jane and jade were scary. imagine if they had to kill them? shit. ] That sucks but I'm glad it worked out for you then. Fuck Grima. I don't even know what that is but screw that thing.

[so that was why he was also so knowledgeable about timelines, because there were other versions of him floating around as well? yet again robin felt more relief, and it was because she felt as though dave knew where she was coming from.]

I can imagine that my companions back home are rather heartbroken, but it had to be done. And.... you know of your future self, as well?

[ one time there were about twenty-eight daves operating within the same day. he gets this. ]

Yeah. I know of future me. It's kind of my thing. I mentioned the literal time god part, right? So I know of future me. I personally know future me. Intimately. Like we're the same person. And then I become future me and get to give past me a heads up unless future me was from an alternate timeline where everyone gets seriously screwed over so the goal becomes to not be future me. And then I die. Future me, I mean. But I get to remember that because I'm always future me. And then there's that one future me that stuck around and became a bird instead of dying but I guess he did die now. I also know of future me from the alternate universe who is technically past me at the same time where I become a sweet movie maker slash rebel leader as an adult before dying.

[she listens quietly, trying to understand his entire explanation. oddly enough, she is able to follow along.]

That.... must have been awful, experiencing all of that. I can certainly say it isn't pleasant having to kill yourself, or even witness how another 'you' acts.

So. In your current time... you were still alive, correct?

Oh. Yeah. It's... something else. Sorry you had to.

[ he doesn't know why he started sharing that. probably because she GETS it and he gets it. mutual bonding over having time fuck them over or something. he didn't mean to derail her issues into his own though. he really wants to just backtrack this. curse his mouth. ]

I was. [ beat ] Maybe. I was right about to have a big final showdown before I woke up here. I might just not remember what happened. I might've kicked it. I don't know. I don't know if I want to know.

It's over now and in the past- all I can hope for now is to move on from that.

It may be better if you don't know, in that case. I would say.... if you're unsure about knowing, then perhaps ignorance is bliss in this case? All that's for certain is that you're alive here, right now.

Right. Sounds like the best plan.

Yeah. Here we are. Totally kicking it with air in our lungs like a bunch of live people with linear futures ahead of us or something. Anyway, let's not start thinking too deeply about the weird batshit life or post-life going on here before we question the meaning of existence. Anything else you wanna know? Can't really help you on the realm front but other stuff I'm good for.

Yeah, no kidding. Most people don't know what the hell I'm talking about. So. Future conversations would be cool. Or past ones. Whatever. Time travel's a bitch.

I think my days of dealing with time travel are up, so I can assure you I will be contacting you in the regular future.

I adore reading, I tend to read anything I can get my hands on.

Yeah? I'm not much of a reader but I guess that wasn't really by choice? Didn't have books or anything at home and the shit I had access to later was in another fucking language. What's your favorite genre?

...No books? None at all? I'm sorry to hear that.

And I don't really have a favorite genre... however I do enjoy a good romance now and again.

Outside of my sister's wizard fanfiction, shit gaming mags, and a bunch of Mad-libs my guardian kept in the bathroom, nah.

I did have someone read me like four hundred trashy romance novels. Not by choice but that sure was a thing. So. I feel like I can open a fucking book club on romance books despite never turning the page myself.

My uh.... apologies? I'm guessing that bringing up such novels would be hard for you- since you said it was against your will.

No. It's fine. I mean, I wasn't tied to a chair. We can shoot the shit about romantic plots if you want.

No- that's quite alright. Uh... if you were able to choose a genre of books, what would your favorite be?

I don't know. I could say fantasy but from what I can tell there's a lot of tropes I'd probably get too annoyed with. I'd probably just be really fucking boring and read, like, non-fiction textbook kinda crap. Stuff about fossils.

An entire book about molluscs would be pretty awesome, in my opinion.

Molluscs.... I never thought about that before. You think they're interesting?

I think they're cool. You know, like, the monoplacophorans?

Indeed. Do you often walk the shore of the bay in search of such creatures?

No. I did it once or twice but there's nothing in there.
