Accidental Video
I’m not crazy I’m just a little unwell, I know, right now you can’t tell…
[As the video starts the screen is black. a song can be heard playing off of very poorly ridged speakers and with it a sweet voice singing along. Something scrapes against the floor and the phone falls on its side the screen now looking up at Airy who’s clearly enjoying herself.
There is a 3” paint brush in her hand as she frames the white wall with a light purple hue. Her voice and the song ring clearer as she moves along and finishes the frame. With the edges painted she picks up the roller and begins rolling the walls while swaying to the song. Her hips move in a figure ‘8’ as she dances along and paints at the same time.
Other details are visible from the phones location, the floor is covered by a white cloth and there is a blanket draped over the furniture. Behind her is a Samsung Galaxy 8 which is hooked into a small set of speakers with a thin black cord running to the wall where it plugs in.
If you are mean and decide to continue to watch another song will follow, this one getting even more energy out of the unaware girl.]
Action; Library
[After painting Airy moves to the library. She isn’t comfortable along the rows of books but without the internet she needs resources. She takes a table in plain sight, watching as people come and go from the front doors. There is a notebook in front of her and a watermelon pen pinched between her fingers. She lightly taps the end of the pen against the paper while organizing her thoughts.
There are several books positioned in front of her, each one opened to a page.
The tip of her boot taps against the floor as her thoughts hit a very sizable wall. She’s written for school but writing a full length play feels like a large task to ask of herself. She wants to prove that she can do something and she’s at least stubborn enough to keep trying.
Her pen touches the paper and she starts scribbling.]
Sugar Highs… [Closed to Cas]
[What’s better than Pop Rock’s and Pixy Sticks?
The answer is sharing them with a friend who has little to no knowledge of candy. Airy has a backpack filled with different types of candy that she’s brought specifically for Cas’s education. She has gone to at least 5 different stores in Genessia picking up candy she knew and some she didn’t. Anything that looks like it had coconut or chocolate in it was skipped over in favor of pure sugary teeth coating goodness.
When she arrives at Cas’s place she knocks and then wonders if she has the right apartment. This neighborhood doesn’t seem… safe.]

video;
She shifts, the pieces of her imagination slowly blinking away.]
Really? Dragons and princess?
[She smiles nervously.]
I guess I'm just weird then. Well... I don't know if I want a prince... maybe a knight.
[Airy shrugs, for someone who's planned their wedding from a very young age, she hasn't actually thought about knight's or prince's.]
video;
[ presses his lips together and tips his head to the side. ]
Right. Knights are an option. I'd totally pick the knight, personally.
video;
[Airy smiles.]
They're far cooler than a prince and then can fight and wear armor.
video;
[ ! ]
Not that I check out knights or anything.
video;
I agree. Knights are there to always protect you aren't they? They don't leave your side.
[She laughs because it almost sounds like a dog though she isn't about to say that outloud.]
I think that'd be nice.
[Airy looks over at Dave and smiles.]
It's okay if you like knights Dave. I think they can be male or female. [So it's whatever he's into.]
video;
[ he rocks the chair back, unevenly balancing the chair. her respnse gets him off guard. he almost had it fall backwards on him and grabs the desk quickly to keep from going over. he sits straighter in his chair after. oh my god. ]
Um. Yeah, okay.
video;
I was thinking of a dog too. I always wanted one but dad refused to fold. I don't think he considered us mature enough to take care of a dog. [That or he hadn't wanted to pick up after it.]
Sorry...
[She grimaces when he almost falls from his chair. That hadn't been her intent.]
video;
[ it comes out in the ease of conversation - after he tightens his jaw a bit, realizing that. he shakes his head at the chair situation. ]
No, it's fine. It's whatever. Good to know you don't give a shit about any of that. So. Yeah.
video;
[She isn't going to ask more but that sounds a little odd.]
I'm still sorry...
[Airy doesn't know why but she feels awkward.]
So... yeah...
video;
[ he's making a face. why did this get so awkward.
long pause ]
It's both, for reference. Not that we need to go into a deep conversation about Strider Sexuality or anything. This is a rather weird topic that I haven't even properly discussed with friends who have known me for a long time so it's hella awkward and weird when you just throw casual acceptance at my head out of nowhere of things I'm not really even trying to get into so that explains a whole lot while simultaneously explaining nothing. 'Sup, Airy.
video;
Then new topic?
[Airy glances around her room before looking back at the camera.]
Do you know how to swing dance? Or salsa dance?
video;
man he was having fun talking about her made up disney princess life too. ]
No. I know how to break dance and pretend like I know how to tango?
video;
I can swing dance and salsa dance because of my mom. I think all disney princesses know how to dance but I wonder what kind of dancing I need to know.
[Back on the princess topic; Airy likes it too.]
I liked Aurora's and Prince Philip's dance but I don't think that's really a dance... waltz maybe?
video;
Don't look at me. The knights aren't the ones in the ballroom. You'd have to learn all the slow ones, probably. Master the foxtrot and shit.
video;
[Though she supposed she'd have an advantage since she knew the other dances.]
I wonder if I can learn them here.
video;
[ folds his arms and rocks his chair again ]
Why not? Probably got some dance classes you can take. Or people who know who would be willing to teach it to you.
video;
Then I can reenact the beginning of Sleeping Beauty? [Yeah, she totally just said that.]
Would you want to take a class with me? I've always done it with a friend.
video;
But who is Philip? [ this knowledge is for ironic purposes, okay. ]
You want to dance with me? I mean- You're asking me to learn ballroom dancing with you?
video;
I don't know. [She hasn't thought this all the way through and she doesn't know who might take the role of the over eager prince.]
And I am. [That's not weird, her best friend Mark danced with her all the time. Then again they started when they were in elementary school.]
video;
[ . . . ]
Okay.
video;
I don't want that... [Tassels on the shoulders? Really?] and if you don't want to join me you don't have to.
I can ask someone else.
[It'd be more fun with a friend.]
video;
[ knits brows ]
I didn't say no.
video;
[Airy can't help but smile at the idea of a 'regal motherfucker'.]
But that isn't a yes either.
video;
video;
Okay Dave. Will you go to the ball with me?
