Video;
[The video cuts on to show a well-dressed man, his collar loosened but still sporting a tie under a nice vest over which he seems to be wearing a shoulder holster. The fedora he's wearing is cocked to the side slightly, and while it may be a little over the top, it somehow suits him.
He doesn't smile when he starts to speak, but there's an earnest honesty in his olive green eyes that keeps his expression from looking too severe.]
Hey, Genessia. It's been a while.
[He shrugs as though to say that isn't his point and continues.]
For those of you who don't know me, my name is Ronan O'Connor. Back home, I was a detective with the Salem Police, in Massachusetts, if you're familiar with it, and yeah, that's the town that got a bad rap a few hundred years ago for executing witches. Turns out they were actually spirit mediums.
I felt my experiences there gave me enough knowledge to help out around Everglade, and though I'm not on the deputy payroll anymore, I still have a special place in my heart for that town. It was my first home here, and honestly, it's the most like Salem of all the places that make up out little settlement here.
What I've saying is Guardians and their deputies have their hands full most of the time with administration, but I'm still here, and I'm open for business. My going rate's 125 Redbills a day, plus expenses. It'll be itemized. No job's too small.
If you need a detective, look me up or just reply here. I'll get you taken care of.
Action;
[Currently, Ronan is running his business out of the back room at Terra's flower shop in Attleton. Feel free to swing by and see the sign in the window!]

Action...
I don't understand why he doesn't like you...
[The black cat has been friendly to everyone else; more or less.]
Action...
Never met a cat that liked me. Maybe it's my charming personality. [He smirks up to her and nods at the food.]
Thanks. You didn't have to, you know.
Action...
I don't think you two give each other a chance. [Though she won't force the matter.]
I know I don't have to.
[Terra only ever does things because she wants too.]
Action...
He doesn't bother me, I don't bother him. I think that's a fair trade.
Action...
If he isn't bothering you...
[She's almost positive the cat is trying to bother Ronan but it's hard to say.]
He didn't really like this backroom until it was re-purposed.
Action...
He's a cat. He likes desks. I don't mind him.
Action...
[There isn't another desk in the building so Terra really doesn't know.]
Action...
Action...
[She can arrange that.]
Action...
You know, I think I'm good.
Action...
[Terra smiles at Ronan, obviously kidding. She has enough to take care of that she doesn't think she can handle another cat.]
We can name it Ronan Jr.
[Not a bad name right?]
Action...
Action...
Should I let you get back to work?
[She likes his company...]
Action...
It's not like I've got cases piling up just yet.
[And then he remembers the back tucked under his desk and he retrieves it.]
Yugi brought some more games by.
Action...
He did?
[She peers curiously at the boxs, her lips tugging into a smile.]
Candyland. Can we play?
Action...
Sure, why not?
Action...
Have you played this game before?
[She has not.]
Action...
Can't say I have, no.
Action... CANDYLAND
You can go first then. Spine the wheel and then we just follow what the board says. It looks like we're kids trying to find out way home. [She looks down at the board, her brows furrowing slightly.]
Why is there a candy cane forest?
Action... CANDYLAND
Uh...probably because it's a land made of candy?
Action... CANDYLAND
[Terra can understand very complicated things easily. When it comes to frivolity and games she's often left scratching her head. Bright blue eyes glance up at Ronan before she flicks the brightly colored wheel.]
3. Now you spin and we'll see who goes first.
[She smiles, nodding her head forward slightly.]
Action... CANDYLAND
[That didn't make any sense.]
Or...something like that, at least.
[He reaches out, spinning the wheel.] 1. [Not surprised.] So, ladies first.
Action... CANDYLAND... I don't remember how to play this game o.o
[It's obvious that Terra is thinking very hard about this. She flicks the spinner again reading the number.]
5
[She moves five spaces, making her way through the candy cane forest.]
Action... CANDYLAND...I sort of wish I had a Candyland board to follow...
Yeah, I guess that works.
[He turns the spinner and moves his chip forward three spaces.]
Action... CANDYLAND
I have to go back two spaces.
[She moves to a blue one which is a safe place though Ronan is going to pass her with his next spin.]
