Greetings, Genessia. I have an announcement to make. First, I'll begin by sharing a little bit about the culture of dragonkind in Sornieth.

There are eleven elemental deities that are birthed by the elements themselves. The deities, in turn, gave birth to dragonkind, to help them shape the world. Thus we dragons have an alignment to one of these elements.

At the end of every month, we hold a celebration to honor one of the deities and their dragon flight. This month has the most important holiday to my clan in particular, the celebration of the Nature flight, known as the Greenskeeper Gathering. The dragons of the Nature flight devote their lives to nurturing the flora and fauna of the world. Because this holiday is so important to us, we've decided to extend that celebration here in Genessia.

So beginning on the 22nd of this month, we are inviting everyone to visit our subarchway in Fayren and celebrate with us. However, I am still unsure of how...humans...celebrate. So if anyone would like to help us prepare in the week beforehand, we would appreciate it.

The Greenskeeper Gathering is an important time for me as well. It was during that week that I was hatched two years ago. And my colors are the same as those of a tree, so the matriarch gave me the name Azalea, after the flower. The matriarch considers me to be Nature's blessing.

Anyway, thanks for listening, and I hope to see everyone at the gathering.

[Of course, Azalea had also promised to spend some quality time with her mate, and take a tour of the five cities. So she will lead a scenic flight over each city with Coco, and then take a walk on the ground to get a closer look. Everglade would be the last city they visit, late at night of course, while the night creatures are having their fun. Feel free to catch them anywhere, although they will not enter any buildings, since Coco was a bit large to fit through the entrances.]

If I may, humans like games. So will there be something like that at your celebration? Do dragons play games...? [He trails off at that last part, musing.]

Games? Well, some dragons do play games. The hatchlings like to play. And the dragons of the Shadow flight like to play mischievous games.

What sort of games do humans play?

Oh, there's all sorts of games, really. But we played a game one time where everyone was given a roll of stickers. The objective is to get rid of all of your stickers by putting them on other people without being caught. You have to be very stealthy to win. I can bring a list of party games if you want.

Do dragons play card games?

That's...a curious game. Perhaps you could arrange something like that?

I don't think dragons have ever played card games.

Well, most people, even non-humans like to eat. So there's usually food at this sort of thing. And music. [She says the last bit with a sigh. It's not that she doesn't like to dance, but she's self-conscious.]

Is it a non-formal attire event. [She looks hopeful.]

Oh...yes, we should certainly think about food. Humans...like to cook their food, don't they? I think we can arrange that...

[Because dragons are used to eating everything raw.]

As for attire? We don't have a particular code for that, so you can wear what you like.

Some things like fruits and vegetables can be eaten raw, but meat definitely has to be cooked.

I just might go then. [It might be nice to go somewhere with Yang.]

Is announcing something like this truly a good idea, given the state of affairs in Fayren?

...What do you mean? If you're talking about the Hands of Decay, there's no magic involved in this. We won't let them ruin our holiday.

They aren't just after magic. They are after mages. If any of them attempt to go to this party, that subarchway could be a target, even if they are incapable of entering it.

I would hope that the Hands of Decay would know better than to trifle with dragons. And I had offered up my subarchway as a shelter for mages earlier. We'll make sure everyone is safe here.

They've shown no such restraint in the past. I'm not too optimistic that they will suddenly develop a sense of discretion. I just you know what you're doing. An animal is always most dangerous when it is cornered and wounded.

We've driven them out of the city, and now Mewtwo is working on the final plan to put an end to them. We'll be ready when the time comes.

In the meantime, if the Hands of Decay try anything to ruin our holiday, we will teach them the true meaning of respect.

In my experience, groups like this do not go down without a fight. They believe that mages are a menace and that magic is inherently evil, and those who disagree with them are not only wrong, but their enemy. They will fight to the last man.

But I hope that you are right, and that they are too busy licking their wounds to try anything.

How do dragons celebrate? What can we look forward to?

[She'd asked about human revelry and he figures that question also goes for dragons.]

Well, in Sornieth, we usually scavenge for a certain item to barter for elemental-themed accessories. But we can't really do that here. That's why I was asking how humans celebrate. We've already been given the ideas of food and music.

Do you have a certain way of celebrating nature in your world?

It depends on the culture and personal beliefs really, but prayers of thanks, well wishes, house decorating, and special foods not served at any other time of the year are very common.

Back home, we usually settle for tree planting, lectures, and minimizing use of electricity. It's kind of a big deal given we're very industrialized. Somewhere between Genessia and Nova City, to be exact.

That's interesting. Our lair won't need much decoration, since it's already a jungle.

Yes, we even have a more industrial territory in Sornieth for the Lightning flight. So it's nice that we have that much in common...at least in this world.

[And that's always great to have.]

Then consider this the R in my RSVP. I'll be glad to attend, as well as help in any way I can.

All right, I'll let the clan know. As for helping, I get the feeling that we'll need a lot of help with the food. We dragons can hunt and scavenge, but we eat everything raw. I've learned that humans like to cook their food.

[He's thinking of the places he's been to in all of his identities. There are a lot of diamonds in the rough out in the urban jungle.]

Oh, don't worry about that. I know guys who know a few other guys. They'll put a feast together. Guaranteed.

This sounds like a really wonderful celebration. But how do you celebrate it exactly?

[She thought she might as well ask.]

We scavenge for a special currency to trade for holiday themed merchandise in the marketplace. Some dragons even dress and paint themselves to look like the element being celebrated.

Oh wow. That actually sounds like fun. So could I do something like that and help out?

Well...if you know of any nature-themed souvenirs, perhaps?

[She really starts pondering now. A hunt for leaves that can be redeemed for prizes. But they would need to make plenty of prizes to give out. The dragons would certainly have their work cut out for them.]

I know of several prizes we could give out in exchange for the special items, but if you could add more to the table, it'd make it even merrier.

Nature theme. Like flower crowns or something?
