04th Bark | Ruff Night
Action: Afterlife | Early Night
[Toby arrives to the club late in the night, steely gray eyes inspect the interior looking unimpressed; he prefers hole in the wall types of bars. The pounding music is annoying and the smells consist of sweat, alcohol and thick perfumes. It’s an instance where having keen senses puts him at a disadvantage.
He towers over those around him and uses that advantage to push his way towards the bar. He quickly takes a seat, not caring if it already had an occupant who just happened to step away. He’s here for one reason, to drink. The man he spoke to claimed that there is a drink that might be able to get him drunk and with a rising curiosity he waves the bartender over.]
Action: Random Streets | Middle of the night. (Possible content warning)
[Whatever the hell that drink was, it worked. Toby stumbles down the street, his shirt and jacket already discarded somewhere along the way. His palm reaches for the wall as the world twists and spins around him. He wants to run and he can feel himself beginning to shift, the familiar and comfortable sensation feeling as sluggish as the rest of him.
Right, pants… A part of himself reminds himself that he can’t shift without destroying his clothes. He likes these pants.
A disgruntled growl leaves Toby’s lips as he staggers forward, looking for the nearest forest and for the coordination to take off his pants.]
Accidental Video: Where are my pants… | Morning
[The screen is black and only a deep disgruntled groan can be heard.]
Fuck…
[Toby remembers the night with a strange sort of clarity. He’s never drinking that shit again. He is recovering nicely from whatever the hell he put into his system but he doesn’t feel well at all.]
Where are my pants?
[The voice is muffled as fabric shifts against the phone’s mic. As Toby dresses the phone falls out of his pocket, the screen pointed up at the shirtless werewolf. There are small scrapes along his arms and chest that heal at an alarmingly fast rate. The sky is a bright vibrant blue and the area around him looks like a bolder hit the forest. Trees were set at odd angles and claw marks were scrapped across the bark.
When Toby sees his phone he reaches down towards it, for an instant specs of scarlet blood can be seen on his arm before he turns off the camera. It isn’t clear if the blood is his or not.]

[Toby snorts.]
When do you know me to say anything to anyone?
[He still hasn’t told his family about Clay and he has no intention too. Even with the chip currently deactivated.]
( action )
[He shakes his head.]
Look, brother. Happiness is rare, even for people who aren't like us. There's no harm is taking it where you find it.
( action )
[He isn't sure, feelings are very complicate and Toby's survived by simplifying. He's a monster. It's that simple.]
Says you. [Toby scoffs.] Are you telling me you wouldn't pass up happiness if it bit you in the ass?
( action )
This isn't about me, dumb ass. We're talking about you, and instincts or whatever.
( action )
[The words snap out of his mouth.]
So when you're ready to do the same so will I.
[Toby takes a wider step forward as if to leave this matter behind. He already has to face Cas and he doesn't know what he's going to say to her.]

( action )
[Toby replies in an even voice, making his way out of the forest and towards town. He doesn’t expect Clay to say anything and he isn’t looking for his old friend to force himself either.]
I’m heading home. I’ll meet you later for a drink.
[He assumes he’ll need one after talking to Cas.]
( action )
Sure thing, brother.
( action )
There are many things that Toby just can’t foresee or understand.]
