Cinder is in prison and that's where she's going to stay. There'll be more details in the paper, but I thought I should let all of you know since the only people who knew about the mission were the people directly involved in it.

Mercury seems to want to cut himself off from her entirely- he didn't even want to know when visitation was. He's also working a deal with David Haller for access to Genessia City contingent upon his participation in supervised community service and pro-bono bounty work. Torchwick and Neo won't be a problem beyond a pain in my.. well, I'm sure you can guess. That said? I'd appreciate it if those of you who have been stalking them take a step back. Emerald is the only one who isn't turning out to be an asset of sorts, but as far as I can tell she's just playing around at an arcade. If anyone has other information, be sure to let me know.

Professor Ozpin, Professor Goodwitch, General Ironwood, Winter? Please spare me the yelling. There were no casualties except for Beacon itself. The archway is closed. Vale itself is still open through Fayren, so all of our Dust should still function. Considering what we all know about Beacon now though, I'd.. recommend against trying to re-open it. Where she is isn't a prison Cinder can get out of no matter whose powers she has and it's a far cry more humane than what she deserves.

Are you still not talking to me? I know you're upset and I'm happy that you showed up to help, but this is getting ridiculous. I am sorry that you're hurt and I know why, so tell me what I need to do to make things right. I thought giving you space and time was what you needed, but you've had both and this is dumb. I want my friend back. I know things aren't that simple- that I don't just get what I want because I say it's so, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to try.

I chose you to participate because I thought you would be able to do it, Jaune. That's not a show of restraint I'd credit everyone with. Just accept the compliment; I don't give them often. [ Particularly to someone's face. Away from their face, sure. To Jaune's face specifically? Very rare. ] Let me know if you see anything good, considering we're apparently both into movies.

I don't think I would have been as restrained without her. Thank you for including me on it. [He nods.] I'm not sure what's playing, but I will.

You're welcome. Satsuki was my predecessor for a reason. [ Even if Weiss stole her job, she still knows Satsuki's very capable. ]

Make it at minimum a double feature, and you'd better be leaving at the same moment Flynt gets to the front door. Don't let Ruby say no.

Wow. Okay, I get that you really want to relax. But I wanted to say hi to him and I'll have to stare at the door to time it right and that's the perfect distraction for Ruby to go and attack your room.

But if that's your plan I'll follow it.

Jaune, I'm trying to get you to get Ruby out of the house so that you and she don't interrupt Flynt and I while we're not watching whatever movie we end up putting on, because that is the kind of relationship I have with Flynt since I broke things off with Battler.

Yes. You made me go on a date with him, I ended up going on a couple more. I got uncomfortable because I started to have feelings for him, so I broke it off and went with Flynt. We're still going to be friends.

[Feelings for him. He feels kind of guilty, but mostly just stunned.]

I'll get Ruby out early just to be safe.

Thanks. [ She knows Jaune was just trying to help her. She just also knows that she can't let herself be depressed for months again because she lost someone close to her. ]

[He makes a note to make sure Battler is okay later. Not tonight, but in the near future. Maybe he could get him to do a movie night, or he could take out any frustrations he has on baseball again. If there's one thing Jaune is an expert in, it's dealing with rejection.]

We weren't boyfriend and girlfriend or anything, it was just a few dates... I honestly wasn't sure what I was doing, so I didn't really talk to anyone but Sun about it. I thought it might be uncomfortable for you particularly, anyway..

[ She's not going to talk to Jaune about flirting with another guy, even Weiss is pretty sure that's rude. ]

It's a little uncomfortable. [He won't deny that it is awkward for him.] But no more than our previous subject. [For multiple reasons, but it's his own fault for being too oblivious.]

Weiss, there's something I want to tell you sometime. Because you've trusted me and I-- I want to earn that. But not right now.

One day we'll have conversations that end in something other than awkwardness and confusion, but I do trust you Jaune. Even if I think you're incredibly odd at times. Whatever it is, I doubt it's something you really need to hide.

[ At the very least on the scale of 'being a former White Fang member' to 'I'm madly in love with you,' she's already scaled the whole thing. She doesn't think Jaune could find a way out of it. ~~And yet.~~ ]
