And this walkie talkie looked like it belonged in a museum compared to what she was used to. It didn't take her long to figure it out, though naturally her response to this whole situation?

I still don't know exactly what's going on, but these pamphlets are in need of serious restructuring! If you're going to make a pamphlet, at least make it informative. These would never make it past Schnee Company standards.

[ Well, at least she's not harping on being confused about where she is. She is confused, but the little flyer that she grabbed after getting out of the freaky lightly-flooded cave already covered that asking wouldn't help much. ]

Yes, actually, you have. That you don't remember is to be expected, really. The nature of this place, being as chaotic as it is, makes such things rather commonplace.

Allow me to explain. This place - Genessia - is located at a sort of dimensional Nexus. Team RWBY and JNPR are here, as well as myself and Professor Goodwitch, Sun Wukong, and another Faunus you have yet to meet. Other than that, there is nobody from our own world here, and this place is free of the Creatures of Grimm, and before our arrival here, none had heard of Dust, Faunus, or anything of the sort. Likewise, there are individuals from a wide array of worlds foreign to our own, each seemingly abiding by different rules. One world has a lean toward the technological as evidenced by the sophisticated robots that come out of the factories set up by people from that world, while others are governed purely by magic.

[ Weiss is just not going to reply for a bit after she gets that explanation because she's not sure if this is just some horrible joke or what. That the headmaster is in on it doesn't make the possibility that it's some kind of test or prank any less viable, either. It might even make it more suspicious.

But if it is some really odd test, then she's going to pass it. Cool head, Weiss, cool head. Yeah right. ]

So you're telling me some time ago I got kidnapped along with a large number of people I know, and then developed amnesia for no apparent reason?

[ It sounds a little doubtful, but shej ust wants to make sure that she understands. ]

As odd as it may sound... yes. I would suggest taking a walk around the city and familiarizing yourself with your surroundings. That in itself should help to validate these claims. Especially the sub-sector of Nova City. The machines that patrol the streets are not only fueled by means other than Dust, but I'm sure you'll notice immediately, are nothing like the robots your family's company uses, and in fact resemble nothing like what our own world has.

If they haven't provided us with communicators, I wouldn't be able to monologue at you. Kidnappers have no obligation to make your life easier. Yet, they went out of their way to provide us with just enough resources to ease our panic. You're lucky to have gotten what you did, but not because you should be happy they were merciful enough to gave us something. Think of it more as a small puzzle piece that will help us figure out why we're here to begin with.
