Beach Party!

[Everyone will get an invitation though there are specific friends of Levy's that she sends personal messages to imploring that they come and have a good time at the beach. There have been more than a few trying things as of late and she thinks that everyone needs to have a chance to relax and have fun.

After getting permission from Troy she sets up a little space on the beach within Dubai's sub-archway. Just as he promised it's the most beautiful beach she's seen. The water is crystal clear and the sand almost a pearly white.

She has a few things set up for those who arrive. There are tables and chairs under canopy and a few extra towels for those who forgot to bring one. There is a boardwalk nearby that people can walk down, checking out the shops and the food. Levy has watermelon and others summer time snacks set up for people to pick at. There is a beach ball and a net set up for those who want to play on the beach.

As the sun sets there will be fireworks and star gazing.

As a benefit of knowing Troy there are also rooms available at the hotel located behind the party. The Atlantis is a nice place and will be the hosts of the fireworks show as well.]

[ Ah. She watches, then tries to mimic the movements. It doesn't feel natural at first, but as she gets used to it the movement becomes easier. Without even realizing it she's also kicking a bit with each stroke, propelling her further. She does stop after a bit, realizing she's gotten pretty far away from Angelo and into deeper water.

It takes her a little bit to tread water steadily, and a little bit more for her to figure out that she can kick in the water to make her way back over while keeping her head above water and see where she's going. At least some things are coming naturally. ]

Excellent. You're learning well. And you're already learning about what is called a doggy paddle. Just keep practicing those, you'll get it in no time.

[He's the best teacher in the world, right? He's all about giving the basics then letting the student learn without him really teaching much.]

It really was not that hard.

[ She smiles a little, still treading water and not really feeling nervous or uncertain in the least.

It could just be that she's a natural born swimmer though, Angelo. ]

It isn't. Swimming comes easy when you've gotten the hang of it.

[He was pretty good at it too when he first started, though he won't brag about that just yet.]

Well, what do we do now?

Good question. What do you wish to do it? I can think up a few things I'd be interested in.

What sorts of things, Angelo?

[ She'll swim just a little closer, by then a little curious about just what he means by that. ]

Getting a few drinks and going back to my place.

[He's not even being shy about it.]

What?

[ She blinks at him, confused before shaking her head. ]

I meant with swimming.

Oh. Um... I was actually going to lay down in the sun for a bit. Would you like to join me?

[Smooth transition Angelo.]

... All right.

[ She's a little disappointed that they can't keep swimming, but she does make her way to shore and back to where her towel and umbrella are. She's going to need another towel to dry off with, though... Maybe something to drink? ]
