Beach Party!

[Everyone will get an invitation though there are specific friends of Levy's that she sends personal messages to imploring that they come and have a good time at the beach. There have been more than a few trying things as of late and she thinks that everyone needs to have a chance to relax and have fun.

After getting permission from Troy she sets up a little space on the beach within Dubai's sub-archway. Just as he promised it's the most beautiful beach she's seen. The water is crystal clear and the sand almost a pearly white.

She has a few things set up for those who arrive. There are tables and chairs under canopy and a few extra towels for those who forgot to bring one. There is a boardwalk nearby that people can walk down, checking out the shops and the food. Levy has watermelon and others summer time snacks set up for people to pick at. There is a beach ball and a net set up for those who want to play on the beach.

As the sun sets there will be fireworks and star gazing.

As a benefit of knowing Troy there are also rooms available at the hotel located behind the party. The Atlantis is a nice place and will be the hosts of the fireworks show as well.]

[She laughs feeling a little awkward now.]

Did you want to try some ice cream?

[ With a nod he gets to his feet, offering his hand to her a beat later so that she can pull herself up as well. ]

[Sakura takes his hand with a warm smile and then proceeds to lead him towards the ice cream. She doesn't let go of his hand. When they arrive she smiles at the man behind the counter.]

Strawberry please.

[She looks over at Van waiting for him to order as well.]

... Strawberry, as well.

[ He pulls out his own red bills to pay for the whole order, but honestly he only picked it because he didn't really know a whole lot of the flavours there. A lot of the names were foreign, perhaps something he'd find in Freid or Asturia. Either way, ice cream is not something he's tried before. ]

[Sakura looks over at Van and then down at the red money in his hands.]

I can pay for it.

Let me this time.

[ He shakes his head, then takes the cones served for him and Sakura before handing her one. ]

[Sakura withdraws her hand and then nods her head.]

Thank you.

[She takes her ice cream and slowly begins to lick up the side of it. Catching any drips that might drop onto her fingers.]

How do you like it?

... It's different.

[ Van honestly doesn't know any other way to describe it. He's taken a taste, and he's obviously surprised by how cold it is, and how sweet it is... Everything about it is strange to him, but not necessarily bad. He's at least going to keep eating it until it's done, from the looks of it. ]

[Sakura finishes her ice cream as well, her lips pulled into a warm smile.]

It's great on hot days like today.

I can see how. I would try it again.

[ He smiles as well, a much more gentle expression that he's worn before. He'd have to show it to Merle, if and when he had the chance... ]

Is it something you enjoy often?

Only sometimes. It's nice when you don't have it all the time.

[At least she thinks so.]
