[When the dark haired girl in a school uniform appears on the video feed, she looks fairly calm. Kurumi has taken the time to check out the brochure rack and read up on what she could. That doesn't change the fact that this completely messes with her plans. She smiles at the camera, though. Getting frustrated wouldn't help. At least for now.]

[She offers a brief wave before continuing.]

As a newcomer to this city, I suppose I should introduce myself. My name is Kurumi Tokisaki, from Raizen High School. I've read the handy brochures, but I think hearing some personal opinions of this place would be more informative.

[She pauses, tapping her chin as if she'd forgotten something. Oh! There was something else she wanted to ask.]

As it looks like I might be here a while, does anyone have suggestions for a job? I doubt what I've been given will last very long.

I wonder if there ever was a world where one could really avoid danger without dullness. Look on the bright side: danger can be fun, in its way, and much better than the alternative, which might lead to cowardice.

Most of the places around here do. Judging by the amount of positions available you'd think there's a shortage of people around. [ But the weird non-necklace populace exists so that's not true. ]

Just become a salesperson if you're that unimaginative.

[She pauses for a moment, mulling it over. That's not a terrible idea.]

I suppose that's a possibility.

What sorts of things do you like to do?

I haven't ever really decided on a career.

I guess there's nothing I absolutely dislike?

Even if you haven't decided on a career, there are things you enjoy doing, aren't there? For me, it's iaido. I don't know that back home I want to make a career out of it, but here I can help teach people who need to learn to defend themselves a way that they can, even if they don't have superpowers.

So if you have anything that you enjoy doing at all, even just as a hobby, maybe we can find some way to translate that into something to do?

I should probably put more thought into it. I wouldn't mind working with animals, maybe.

I didn't know things like that existed, but this whole place is a little beyond me.

[A pause.] What's that?

It's beyond most people.. [ Her words were accompanied by a hint of exasperation. This isn't even her first alternate world. ]

Ah, it's a shelter I think.. [ Though now it's closed but there will be another one soon but I didn't know that at the time I wrote the last tag sorry AT THE TIME OF THIS THREAD IT WAS OPEN. ]

That would be perfect! [She actually squeals internally. She has a soft spot for cute little animals.]

I think most girls my age go into waitressing or things like that.
