I can assist by offering comfort, companionship, and support. I can identify coping problems the patient may have and adjust accordingly.

I do everything within my ability to help improve your mental state.

Yes.
Comfort may seem difficult to obtain after a loss but people may find it in various ways such as: among their friends or through enjoyable activities.

I can't fly but I do like walking, hanging with friends and cats. Also gummi bears but I think eating away my troubles might be bad. Ironically creating is something I do as meditation. Does that count?

I will go to the hospital. Karate is not applicable for most treatments but it is useful for protecting my patient.

Please refrain from using the word "wrong" in regard to emotional states. A person is never wrong for feeling grief.

When dealing with anticipatory grief it is important for one to acknowledge that there is nothing bad about what you are feeling and recognize what your grief is directed towards. Anticipating grief will not speed up the loss and can help you cope better later on.

You may: connect with others or a professional in order to gain support and comfort. A support system is important when dealing with a potential upcoming loss.

You should plan the remaining time in order to enjoy it to its fullest. You should remember to take care of yourself throughout the process.

Can I ask for help for a friend or loved one?
