Who Blake and YOU
What Training and tattoos, multiple scenarios
When Afternoon
Where Genessia
Warning n/a, slight mentions of Battler but nothing graphic or trigger inducing - will update if that changes
a) Genessia, Outskirts
Blake focused on the clone in front of her,a bead of sweat rolling down her forehead. It flickered and she gritted her teeth. She was trying to make it to a minute. At least a minute, before it faded. She had done it when her back was against the wall. She could do it again. She tried to make another and the minute the second appeared the other faded.
She let out a shout of frustration and sank to her knees. Why couldn't she get it? She had done it before. Did she literally have to have her life hanging in the balance to be able to push herself again? She wiped the sweat off of her face roughly as though it was the rivulets of water dripping down her face that were to blame. She got up and retrieved her water bottle from under a nearby tree.
As far as anyone knew, Blake was out book hunting. And she would after this. So it wasn't a complete lie. She just didn't want anybody treating her like she was too fragile to train. She had been out of the hospital a week. Besides, it also gave her some alone time to focus her mind. Ever since she had got back she had these weird bouts of both wanting to be around people and then suddenly wanting the be far away from them
She gulped her water, a breeze lifting her dark hair. Then she stood and got ready to go at it again
b) Window Shopping for tatoos!
Blake stood with her face buried in a book - not a novel for once. An art book. It was any idea she had been toying with for a while. She got tired of flinching every time she saw that ugly brand on her arm. It wasn't just the memory. It was the idea that that demon had changed something, altered something on her own body without her permission. Every time she saw it her stomach twisted in anger. Not just because of what he did, but because she knew that her reaction was probably the exact reason he marked her.
She could probably find someone who knew how to get rid of it. But something about a tattoo just seemed...how could she explain it? Like another permanent mark, she supposed, but one she'd put there hereself. One that would symbolize that there was something better in the world than the horror she'd survived.
Maybe she's look at it , think it over. She had not even told Yang this yet.

She tried not to think of that and focuses again. This time the shadow had some color but some of the other details were murky. Blake bit her lip to stop herself from growling in frustration. She felt like she could do better if her mind wasn't in so many places.

"Miss Shade. No no. You're really tense. Here." Slowly, Koishi reached out, though this time it wasn't to pet Blake's ears... well not really. A hand settled on her her head and a chilling peace slowly washed over her. The little youkai was absolutely doing something.
"I can help you relax but it wont last long. Maybe a few hours. But if it helps you focus then it might give you the understanding you need to work with your power better. Okay?"
She would proceed provided Blake didn't object too strongly or try to pull away.

The Faunus just nodded vaguely, feeling like she had drank a few cups of something stronger than chamomile. But it wasn't taking away her awareness so she was ok with it.

With another smile, Koishi drifted back, doing a little twirl, third eye swaying gently in the air with her movements. "Okay. I'm going to fade this time so you have a chance to focus on me before I vanish from your consciousness. And don't try so hard this time. I know you can do it if you just relax."
Even with her completely visible, copying Koishi was still a bit harder than duplicating someone else. And she would start to fade from Blake's perception once the faunus had created the duplicate.

She only twitched slightly when Koishi touched her ears but relaxed again as she realized the consequence of being touched was not going to be pain.
She focused again, taking in the details. She tried not to think too much and then tried again.
Bit of a timeskip in here.
Also, at some point Koishi had loosely tied Blake's ribbon around her neck without her noticing, giving her a little bow-tie.
"You've nearly got it Miss Shade. You probably wont be able to copy me for awhile but keep working at it. Because if you can copy me then you can remember me and that would make me really happy too." She drifted closer, outline refining a little bit so that she was more visible. "Do you want to take a break? You look like your really tired. And if you're really tired then a break is just what you need. Or maybe a snack... Or both!"
Re: Bit of a timeskip in here.
And maybe the things in this world could stop taking her down so easily. It was funny how she used to think that Adam following her here was her biggest problem.

"This isn't a battle. So injuring yourself by working too hard isn't necessary. You don't have the adrenaline to ignore the pain like you would in a real fight."
The tugging would grow more insistent, the little youkai trying to pull her toward the city. "I know just the place to go, but it's really far. I could carry you if you like. You're really light and it would be no trouble to fly with you."
no subject
It didn't look like Koishi was going to be swayed, so she let herself get tugged along. "I can manage, thanks. You know, I am fine to go a few more rounds. Where are we going?"

If Blake was familiar with Satsuki it was hard to imagine that she would have a 'best frind.' "I"m also the leader of her supernatural investigation team. I'm pretty good at it. And sometimes I follow Miss White around and whisper to her when suspicious people are nearby so she's never surprised."
They were starting to move faster now, Koishi tugging Blake along. They had quite a ways go, after all.
