It had been far too long since Kefka had done anything involving his illusion magic. It was something he enjoyed far too much. The confusion and chaos that always followed his illusions were always far too comical to resist.

He approached the Fairy Tail guild hall, tapping his chin as he walked. So many suitable candidates, so little time. But, to avoid any kind of duplication, since he wasn't sure who was inside at the moment, he spun once, taking on Zeref's appearance. He took a second to mimic the mage's walk before stepping into the guild hall, acting as if nothing was out of the ordinary.

Let the games begin.

First contestant! Lucy!

She was sitting in the guild hall by the window, contentedly reading a book when she caught sight of "Zeref" approaching the guild hall.

Pleasantly surprised by her friend's approach, she closed the book and hopped to her feet, padding over to the door to greet him. "Zeref?" She almost asked what the heck he was doing here, but that'd be rude.

Except.. what WAS he doing here?

Kefka had opted for the angle of food gathering, having taken note of the real Zeref's habit of hiding away from civilization, he probably didn't have that much in the way of food or water, and it was the perfect excuse for why it took him a moment to respond to Zeref's name.

"L-Lucy," he said, primarily testing to make sure he hadn't lost his touch with auditory illusions as well. Thankfully, he hadn't. "I... food..." and with that, he tumbled forward, landing on his face. It took all his self control not to ham it up, but it should be convincing enough.

What the what?

"Zeref!" He tumbled forward to the floor and she squeaked in alarm, rushing over to his side, "Hey! Hang in there! Come on..jeez, what do I always tell you about this?" She tsked, reaching down to pull him to his feet, like a good supportive friend. "What were you thinking..?"

Come on you, she's gonna tug notZeref over to the table she'd been sitting. "Here, I'll be right back with something to eat."

Kefka will make minimal attempts to right himself with Lucy's aid, slumping onto the table. This was perfect so far. Now, how to spin the situation into chaos? Natsu was the obvious and easy route to take. However, Natsu's wild antics also belied a more noble soul. One of those. No, he wouldn't do. Erza could be an interesting patsy. She seemed to have issues from what he observed, but still had that knightly attitude, almost reminiscent of a certain color-named Doma retainer. Pass.

Of course, there was Gajeel. Now he seemed to be a pure brawler. With Zeref's magic being able to conjure beasts that could be used to steal food and the like, Gajeel could easily be seen stomping the beasts out of boredom, he thought. Secondary plan in mind, in case he needed a fall-guy, he awaited Lucy's return, eager to isolate Zeref even more, so that Kefka was the only one he could turn to.

And true to her word, Lucy wasn't gone for long, trotting quickly out of the back where the kitchen was with a dish of assorted seafood samplers. "I wasn't sure what you liked best, so I got a little of everything." Well ... to be fair it was mostly leftovers, but it's still good!

She set the plate down in front of Kefka!Zeref, frowning in concern as she took a seat in front of him. ".. Eat something, okay?" You ARE strong enough to eat right? ...

Kefka was loving this. Everything was going far too easily. He decided the most entertaining route for now would to have her feed him, so the only response Lucy would be getting is a weak attempt to raise his wrist before dropping it.

C'mon Lucy, you know you want to feed Kefka, don't you~?

... what. WHAT. WHAAAAAAAAAAT. UM.

"E...eh.. are you serious!? You can't even move?" Maybe she should call a healer while she's at it. Not Wendy, Wendy was still recuperating. Regina... was more of a herbalist than a healer, per se.

"Sit up, you can't eat anything if you're sprawled on the table like that..." She slid out of her seat and moved next to the mage, picking up a fork and spearing a piece of fish. ... this was just...really really weird for her, okay?

"Here, try this." Say Aaaa~~~!

....she was really really hoping none of her friends showed up right now.

It was all Kefka could do to not just bust out laughing at this point. However, he had managed to keep a straight face when he convinced Leo he was the Emperor, he'd keep a straight face now. But let's crank the awkward level up to 11 out of a possible 5, shall we?

"S-So.. weak..." he said in a strained whisper as he 'attempted' to push himself into a sitting position. Of course his hand 'slipped' causing him to topple sideways, leaning against Lucy, head resting on her chest. BECAUSE WHY NOT?

HO WOW did that awkward shoot up to an 11 in under a second. When 'Zeref' toppled, she automatically dropped the fork on the plate, reaching out to steady him. Sadly not quickly enough, and the second his head came against her chest, her face flushed red and she uttered a strained noise.

"H-- Hey, Zeref, c-come on, sit up properly already..!!" Just gonna ...carefully push him away. Hrrrgn!!

Yup, she saw it.

Poor Lucy, Virgo is going to take a picture to share with the others from the cover of under the bar. Lucy might have a love triangle on her hands! Except she supposed it was already a triangle with Leo and Natsu... Hm, what shape did that make then...

Kefka heard the scuffling off to the side. If he knew there was going to be photographic proof of this, he wouldn't be able to keep up the charade for the gigglefits. Ignorant of that - for now at least - he would be keeping up the dead weight routine, every gentle push seemingly only serving to nestle his head more perfectly in Lucy's cleavage.

VIRGO NO.

Also, WAUGH!

NO NO NO NO DO NOT WANT! Kefka you stop that! On the one hand, friend is dead weight and may clearly need medical attention. On the other. Friend is dead weight and may clearly need medical attention. "H.. HEY! Zeref! Cu-cut that out!" FLAIL FLAIL. She gives him a firmer push to get him away, totally oblivious to Virgo being a trolling troll.

"I.. I think you need to see a doctor - or a healer. J.. Just sit there a minute, I'll get someone to call for one." Pl..please sit there? Don't move. Just. STAY. PUT.

Suddenly, from the other side of the room where would be a strong surge of heat as a particularly peeved dragon slayer beheld the scene before him. "Oi What the hell do you think you're trying to pull?" Natsu growled and stomped over to the table, his eyes almost blazing at this point.

"A-Ah.... Lucy-san....Zeref-san...What are you doing?"

Her face is flaring red thank you very much. She's not used to all that display of affection and Wendy obviously walked in at the wrong time and place. Out of the corner of her eyes, she catches Natsu stomping over to the table and quickly moves to at least alleviate the situation because it's only been a day or so and things seemed to be tense already.

"Natsu-san!"

Oh no, Natsu's mad.

If Virgo were human, she'd be eating popcorn. As it was though, she kept pretending to be cleaning out under the bar so she could keep taking occasional pictures through randomly convenient spaces between boards.

And it looked like this would be escalating in 3... 2...

After a few moments, Karla entered the building behind him. She was still rather new here, still trying to get her bearings on this world in general (and still hoping to find an arena somewhere).

"Ah...excuse me. Can you tell me what this place is?"
