[So Ace got wopped in the mouth by a newspaper crashing through the window. He has to find that news coo so he can tip him because what great service! He gets to be the first one to read it even around the damp sections.

But he also found something that could not be borne.

A Puppy Prison.

Who would do such a horrible thing?

Well whoever would do it, Ace wouldn't tolerate it.

He takes some time to strategize, and then around 1pm, sends this video out to everyone]

Puppies were meant to be free! I won't let anyone hold them hostage under my watch! No matter what they've done!

[and he throws back his head and howls, a few of the dogs howling with him, before the jail break commences.

And after?]

[Sakura was in her room at the K&H Home for Children when she heard a constant series of barking and yapping. So naturally, she opened her window to look out to see a parade of puppies.]

"...What in the world...?"

[ She's had to separate herself from a certain pirate and pirate-like marine for a bit to catch her breath, so Adela is taking a 'walk' so to speak.

She might also be collecting some of the smaller dogs so she can take them back to the shelter along the way.

The red head looks up at Sakura and sighs. ]

Pardon me, no dogs have gotten in there, have they miss? I am trying to return them all to the shelter.

[powerisphwee]

"I don't think so, but I'll look around."

[Sakura steps away from her window and disappears. Luckily, it's a relatively small building, so Sakura soon appears at the front door, carrying a small puppy that must've been part worm with how much it wiggled.]


"Um, here! This one, was behind the house, digging. Please hold still..."

[Puppy wants to be free!]

[ She has to laugh, though a yelp leaves her as more get away from her and she has to wheel after them. Not the easiest thing to do! ]

"Honestly...! Why did Ace have to release so many!?"

[ That's more to herself, but eventually she does nab a couple (including this friendly little fluffmonster that is sniffing around Sakura's ankles). It's clear that this guy is heavy too! ]



"Sorry about that. Thank you for your help."

[As Sakura watched as some of the puppies get away, catching one for herself, and now she has to ask.]

"Do you want me go with you to help you catch them?"

[It's not safe for puppies to roam free around the city.]

"I would truly appreciate that."

[ She nods, holding her hand out for Sakura. ]

"My name is Adela. 'tis good to meet you."

[She bows politely.]

"Sakura Kinomoto. It's nice to meet you too, Adela."

[Sakura gives her hand to Adela for a handshake.]

"Well, let us be off then."

[ She'll adjust the puppies, some of who are whimpering because they want to be put down~ and to run around and play! ]

"Have you been here long, if I may ask?"

"I've been here for about two days now."

[Needless to say, she was still adjusting. Sakura holds her arms out, offering to hold a puppy or two to help lighten Adela's load.]

"I see... It must be quite difficult."

[ Adela hands off a couple of the smaller dogs to Sakura, her expression falling just a little. This girl can't be older than ten... Far too young to be here by herself. At least she's found the Children's Home, but even still. ]

"May I ask how you are faring? I know this place can be disorienting, but it truly is not so bad here."

[powerisphwee]

[Such fluffy, wiggly bundles of love. Sakura could hold and play with the puppies all day. ]

"I think I'm doing all right. It was scary at first, but everything is going to be okay."

[Her invincible spell never failed her yet.]

"I am glad to hear that, Sakura. And you are right, so long as we keep trying then everything will be okay."

[ What a brave girl. Of course it'd be hard not to smile with all of the puppies like this, and interrupting her thought is the big, fluffy puppy jumping onto Adela's lap to lick at her face. ]

"Ack! Hey, you!"

[ In spite of the words being scolding, she's laughing and unable to stop grinning. ]

"Do not interrupt in the middle of a conversation! Bolshy little thing..."

[When one puppy started attacking Adela with licks, the puppies that Sakura was holding got excited and wanted to join in. Eventually, they wiggled out of her grasp and escaped to explore, play and be free.]

"Ah! No, wait! Come back, puppies!"

[If only she could call on THE WOOD to construct a pen to hold these puppies in, but she can't let anyone see her use magic.]

[OTA Action]

[he stops by her window, jogging in place, and holding a little husky pup.He waves hi to her with the dog's fluffy paw]

We're running free.

[The puppy waving at her tugged at her heart strings and made her want to join in without questioning why they were running free. That alone sounds innocent enough, though.

Sakura was already at the front door of the children's home to join the puppy parade.]

"Okay!"

[he laughs and scoops her up to set her on a big old St. Bernard to ride so she can keep up and not get trampled and trots along beside her. There's a pair of Chihuahuas peering at her from under his hat now]

What's your name? Where're you from?

[Sakura waved her arms in the air happily. It was like riding a pony, if that pony barked and drooled a lot. After she settled, she got the questions.]

"Sakura Kinomoto. I'm from Tomoeda, Japan."

Nice to meet you, Sakura-chan! I'm Ace.

[tilts his hat] What kind of place is Tomodea Japan?

"Nice to meet you too, Ace-san.

Tomoeda is the town I live in. It's outside of Tokyo."

[that doesn't tell him much]

Yeah but what it's it like? [two of the larger dogs start fighting and Ace wades to them and picks them up by the scruff of their necks, holding them apart so they'll calm down]

"Tomoeda doesn't look or feel too different from Genessia, except for where everything is. It has a few landmarks, like Tomoeda Elementary School, which houses a town bell, and the playground with a huge penguin slide that everyone calls King Penguin."

[Just to start it off.]

"And every year, schools will hold a festival, which are really fun."

Yeah? I'd like to see it. Is it more of a slide or a penguin?

[he'd like to try the food too. His stomach growls its agreement]

We've gotta find somewhere to eat.

"It's a slide built around a big penguin play set."

[That was her best description. And come to think of it, lunch sounds pretty good right about now.

Did her tummy just growl?]

Lame. I thought it was a giant penguin. [much more fun. He notices her stomach growling]

Let's go get a bite. My treat. [grin] Anywhere you like?

"No, not yet. I've only eaten in the Home so far."

[Hopefully there's a nice place around that has her favorites.]
