04TH AFFAIR | ACTION!
Action: Genessia Library
[This is one of the few times that Crystal finds herself outside of Nova City. It's the place she's gotten used to and she likes it there. It doesn't however, have information on earth's history. Which brings her to the library in Genessia which magically has books from everywhere.
She's sitting at a table with a small smile on her lips and a book posed between her fingers. It's about the French revolution and obviously a history book to those looking over her shoulders because there are no pictures.
Unlike her usual wear she isn't in a dress but a loose light blue blouse, a white skirt and brown strappy sandals. It's the best outfit she has to combat the heat.]
Action: Park
[After checking out a few books she finds herself walking around the park. She enjoys nature though only when cut and displayed for it's beauty. It's something that her and this park have in common. Her bright blue eyes scan the area as she finds a secluded place to sit.
She has no intention of anyone coming across her.
Crystal pulls a small book from her purse, her long lovely legs curled beneath her and begins to sketch. They are small drawings of the plants in front of her without shading or details and yet they are a perfect replica of what she sees.]

I might still like it. They say that art comes in all forms.
[ He gestured toward what she'd been drawing with the end of his pencil. ]
That one, right?
[action; park]
[She agrees with a smile before turning towards her drawing and the flower in question.]
Yes.
[action; park]
[ He looked at the flower for a bit longer before starting with a few light strokes on the page. ]
You made a good choice. That one's quite unique.
[action; park]
[She stops drawing, her sketch almost done and stares at the beautiful flower.]
They might be. I don't put much merit in mass opinions. I'd rather see for myself.
[action; park]
[ There was a time of silence as he concentrated, occasionally looking up to make note of a particular detail or another before going back to his task. Sometimes knowing what to say to Crystal wasn't the easiest. It wasn't that she was difficult to speak with but more that she was such an enigma that picking a subject that she would actually be interested in felt a little daunting. After a bit he decided to just go back to the subject of art. ]
How long have you been an artist?
[action; park]
When I was 10. I wanted to reflect the beauty in the world though I've gotten much better since.
[She looks over at him.]
What about you?
[action; park]
[ It occurred to him then that he actually didn't know how old she was but he wouldn't dare ask something like that. The contented look on his face faded a bit when she asked him the same thing and he ended up staring at that same flower for a short period before answering. ]
A long time. It started with my family.
[action; park]
[Crystal had to grow up quickly and hadn't been afforded a childhood that someone would call happy. It was dark and difficult and she found beauty in the things that wouldn't wilt or fall against the elements. Finding that beauty is a small thing she clung onto, just like singing. She'd always been able to sing and since she could talk she'd pick out melodies and tunes.]
Your own beauty then.
[She's a little jealous, even if it had been for a fleeting moment Jefferson had been lucky enough to have a loving family. He should cherish those memories; always.]
