[OPEN] I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for ..

Where: An Ice Cream Shoppe in Genessia City
What: Girls talking about their not!boyfriends? Maaaaaaaybe. And general socialness.

It seems like the fates were conspiring to make things awkward for a certain pair at the Guild lately. Lucy was cool with that. Awkward was fun -- WHEN IT WASN'T HER. In any case, the temperatures warming up had the young spirit mage finding her way to the nearest ice cream shop in Genessia. She'd left an open invitation for the others to join her when they were unoccupied of course. Anyone who happens upon said ice cream store will find her at the counter, studying the list of treats like they held the mysteries of the universe.

"I see, and I am Satsuki." she replies as her smile fades. Her brows furrow as she raises her hand to her chin, "Lucy..." ... ".. Lucy.."

"Ah. You're the one with the naked boyfriend?"

She's not judging. But it was a very.. Very unusual network feed.

"It's nice to meet you Satsuki --"

Wait, What.

"Wh.. what!? Na... Naked... WHAT?"

Wow does her face turn read and she's shaking her head vehemently, "Y.. You've got it all wrong! I don't have a naked boyfriend! ... I mean I don't have a boyfriend! That guy - he just sometimes... it happens..!"

That is quite a red. Were she not Satsuki she'd show some sort of amusement, so instead have a raised brow.

"Does it.." she murmurs, seeming perhaps a little too interested. "Does he have something against clothing, or is this only something he does for you?"

Though, really, there's no way that the man could be part of an organization she thinks he's involved with. Could it?

"No no no!" Lucy waved her hands back and forth, "It's not something he does for me! We're not together. Anyway, it's because of his training - and his magic, he doesn't even feel the cold. But he kind of got into the habit of taking some of his clothes off during training."

No Satsuki. No. Just no.

"... Is that so." Satsuki isn't sure what to make of Lucy's answer. She seems to be honest enough, but the Council President has seen 'otherwise' if she remembers correctly.

Still, something more interesting is brought up that gets her attention. "Magic? He's altered his nervous system for the sake of sorcery.." ... "Is that all it takes?"

"Well I wouldn't say it was for the sake of sorcery. More like - because of the type of magic he practices. You'd have to ask Gray himself if there's anything more than that - Natsu is the same way. Only ... instead of taking off his clothes, he's warmer than a normal person. I think that might be because he eats fire though. But then Gray is colder than a normal person and he doesn't exactly go around eating ice cubes. So that theory is right out."

Satsuki blinks slowly. What in the world is this girl talking about now? It may all seem basic to her but Satsuki can't barely make heads or tails of it- But it sounds potentially very powerful so she wants to understand.

"Lucy," she interrupts with a small shake of her head, "Where I am from magic is just acts of illusion. If you could be more precise with your explanations.. For example, do you perform magic. If so do you need to remove your clothing to do so, or do you need the assistance of undressed men?"

It was powerful! Insanely so in some cases. "Instead of just explaining it, why don't I demonstrate...?" She reached towards the belt at her side.

OH SWEET JEEZUS SHE'S GOING TO STRIP RIGHT HERE -- oh wait, no, she's just pulling a key off of its ring, holding a golden key aloft and stepping back for room. "Open, Gate of the Golden Bull. Taurus, I summon thee!"

After a flash of magic light, the empty space between herself and Satsuki is suddenly filled by a tall humanoid bull man wielding a double edged axe. "MMMMMMMMMMMOO! I'm here to protect your fine bodyyyyyyy--!"

Oh hey, two fine bodies. Lucky him!

"Mmn." Satsuki nods in approval, and takes a step back as well in preparation for this demonstration. Whether she thought Lucy was going to disrobe or not, her expression doesn't really say; it's the results of the ritual, however, that makes her eyes half-lid and her hand reach slowly for the handle of her sword. Just. In. Case.

From behind her a teenage man tumbles out of his chair, and points up at the beast. It looks like he's gone mad! "Oh god.. Oh god!! Just like in my dream! IT'S FINALLY HAPPENING!! AAAAAAAAAAAAH!! AAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHHA!!" with a running start he leaps through the shop's window then flees down the streets.

Satsuki's gaze shifts behind her, then back to the bullman as a bead of sweat falls down the side of her face. ".. What."

And as silence fell after the man fled, and Taurus looked just as confused as Satsuki... Lucy finally recovered enough to react.

"... he didn't have to run off like that. That was crazy..!"

Well.. If Lucy wasn't expecting that to happen, Satsuki isn't really sure what kind of reaction she was expecting.

".. That was an unintended reaction, then? I must admit it is a rather.. Jarring demonstration." she murmurs as she looks up at the beast.

"So then. You must be Lucy's shield." Because he's as beefy as Gamagori, see. Though he he doesn't appear to share the same regard for discipline.

Lucy laughed, "Aah... was it really? I'm sorry about that - ... though I guess I should apologize to that guy if he comes back..."

Taurus is in the middle of nodding at Satsuki's statement, with an extra FLEX, when Lucy put a hand to his arm. "Not shield," she corrected. "He's my friend. None of my spirits are shields - I fight alongside them."

"I wouldn't bother," Satsuki replies. A person with a courage that thin got what they deserved as far as she's concerned.

Still, she can't help but twitch a bit in response to Taurus' mighty flex. What a beast! That said, Satsuki's frown falls deeper in response to Lucy's words. "Is that so. You appear less sturdy, Lucy. It would be strategically advantageous for him to fight for you, wouldn't it?"

She won't comment on the spirits being friends. But it does sound silly to her.

Well that was rude. Sure she isn't as strong as Natsu and Erza and the others, but she's not exactly weak either! Not anymore! She's a touch rebellious in her response, huffing. "I may not look like much, but I'm a Fairy Tail wizard too. I'm not a weakling, and my friends don't fight for me. They fight with me." She's strong too, damnit. Maybe not the way Natsu and Gray and Erza are - but she had strengths in other ways! She could prove it! Heck, it's why her spirits loved her - because she didn't treat them as objects to just get in front of the enemy.

"So you're part of the Fairy Tail Guild.." Satsumi muses aloud, then shakes her head. "You misunderstand, I merely said that you are not as sturdy." she replies, "Efficient combat formations on the battlefield are a neccessity. Insufficient positioning can mean the difference between winning and losing a battle."

"I will admit, however, that I have never engaged in combat with a wizard.. It is possible putting one on the front lines may a viable strategy." and yet even as she admits to it, she still sounds as if she doesn't believe it.

"That's right!" She beams, utterly proud of that fact. The latter comment does make her pause and think though, "Maybe, but everyone in the guild trusts each other. We know each other's strengths and weaknesses, and we're stronger when we fight together." A laugh followed, "I will mention though, that you should probably disregard whatever you know about wizards, when it comes to my guild."

"I see.. I would be quite interested in meeting your friends and your guild leader sometime. It's clear that the way you run things is quite different from how I do at home- Observeing the end result could be quite educational." Satsuki replies. Sadly she doesn't really mean what she says; her expectations are fairly low.

Bonus points if she arrives when Erza is away??

As for the final comment, Satsuki can't help but smile a little. Just a bit! "I shall keep that in mind."

That's all right Satsuki. You'll be SCHOOLED soon enough.

Ahem. "Well, our guild is based in Fayren - you can stop by anytime you like." Gajeel and Natsu especially would love to demonstrate their ability. Bonus points if Gajeel doesn't eat Satsuki's sword.

"Anyway, I should get my ice cream and head back. I promised Wendy I'd pick some up for her." Wendy and Natsu anyway.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOH, SHOTS FIRED!!!!

"I see.." So they do have a headquarters. She wonders how they managed to obtain one, but she'll settling for saving that question after she's seen it. She wouldn't mind having a headquarters of her own if it looks really nice!

"Very well, I shall be on my way as well. Until next time." A nod is given to both Lucy and her spirit, then rather dramatically turns and marches to the exit.
