[Action] A Stroll through the Night
[It was late at night as Sakura couldn't sleep. Dreams that foretold a destiny that was waiting for her. What she was seeing was beyond her comprehension. She couldn't even tell what she was seeing in her dreams. Was it a threat? Was it a happy life-changing experience? Was it in Genessia? Was it in Tomoeda?
So during this sleepless night, Sakura left the K&H Home for Children, setting out on a leisurely walk around, staying close to the Home. Some time to herself to herself to clear her mind so she can get sleepy again so she can go back to bed. Naturally, she brought along a few clow cards, hidden away on her person.
Before long, Sakura decides to stop and sit on a swing illuminated by a nearby street light, taking out a clow card to gaze upon it in thought. Could something happen in Genessia that would count on her and the clow cards?

But after reading the Genessia newspaper and finding her horoscope for the month, she knew that making relationships was the utmost importance. That’s why she was wandering, no choice in destination. Rin and Yukio were a constant on her mind… she had to keep them there. They were the one’s who gave her the bravery and courage she never had before. She owed them everything.
It was night, though, and she had to head back to Amagi Inn before she lost her way in the darkness.
But illuminated by a stray street light was a figure sitting alone on in a swing. The figure was around her size, so Shiemi did not hesitate in approaching it. ]
H-Hey…
[ She holds her hands behind her back, and nods politely. ]
Are you okay? Mind if I sit with you for a bit?
no subject
"Hello. Yes, I'm okay. I just couldn't sleep, so I came out for a little walk. And I don't mind."
[She holds her hand out to the other swing beside her, inviting her to have a seat.]
no subject
As she’s allowed to sit, she does so in the swing next to her as she was motioned to. Shiemi begins to kick her feet back and forth to gather momentum.
She hadn’t played on a swing in so long… ]
Are you thinking of… home?
no subject
[Sakura kept the swing still. She wasn't quite ready to play along.]
"It's like...if time has stopped back home, and I was sent back home, how can I go on with life as if nothing happened? Who would even believe me if I told them?"
[As a stray thought, she wonders what Genessia would look like if she wrote about it in book of THE CREATE card. Weiss Schnee with spiral eyes? Oh goodness gracious.]
no subject
[ … ]
You know you can’t pretend this never happened. N-No matter how long you’re gone — ten days or ten years. You know there’s more o-out there than your world.
[ Shiemi glances up at the inky black night sky; wishing that it wasn’t this hard. In her world demons run rampant. Who knows what goes on in the other girl’s world.
She begins to become airborne, but still close enough to the ground. ]
no subject
[Now Sakura begins to kick her feet to make the swing sway leisurely.]
no subject
… I know this is real. We have to remember it. Wh-what if we’re here for a long time, and we make new friends… then we disappear? We have to remember the people we met!
[ She sounds a bit frantic, scrapping her sneakers against the ground below her to slow her swinging. ]
no subject
"I wonder..."
[Maybe there is a way to record what happens? As mischievous as it is, THE CREATE retains what's written in it. But she can't give this other girl a copy of THE CREATE. There has to be a more universal solution.]
"...I wonder how we can make it possible to record what we experienced that can safely follow us back to our worlds?"
no subject
But she has to be. ]
I’m… not sure. I only have so much power, and my abilities…
[ They have nothing to do with counteracting with time, or helping prove the existence of different worlds. Demons summoning was a different subject all it’s own. Nee wouldn’t be of any help in this situation. ]
You have any ideas?
no subject
"Hmm... All I can think of is just keep a diary and hope we have it when we're returned home."
no subject
Maybe we could do that as a… experiment? I-I mean… I’m willing to try just about anything…
no subject
My name is Sakura, by the way."
no subject
[ Why change it? She smiles and bows her head politely. Why didn’t she ask her name earlier? Now she just felt dumb. ]
Shiemi. Nice to meet you. And I don’t mind trying with you… it takes two to get a result sometimes!
no subject
[And then she suddenly yawns.]
"I think it's about time I go back to the Home..."
no subject
[ Shiemi stops herself, smiling fondly at the girl beside her. ]
Sleepy? Oh, sorry, I go one and on. Umm, we can part here or if you want… I can walk with you back there? It’s really dark.

And there is one now. A certain green haired youkai was drifting through the air, looking around for any disturbances or trouble. It had been a slow few nights so she hadn't bothered wearing her uniform. Which was probably good since she was more recognizable without it.
She paused, spotting Sakura sitting on the swing and drifted down to investigate. This girl was familiar, right? She had seen her before... right? On the phone maybe? Koishi's memory wasn't working very well right now.
Either way she decided to say hi, drifting down and perching on a nearby swing. Her unconscious nature masked her presence until-
"Hello there Miss! Can you see me? It's dangerous to wander around at night."
Thank goodness the street light was there or the only thing Sakura would be able to see were Koishi's glowing green eyes.
no subject
...Are her eyes glowing? Sakura then realized she still had her clow card out and quickly stowed it away, pretending like she doesn't have anything of interest.]
"I can see you. Is it really dangerous? It was pretty safe where I come from."
[Nevermind that the clow cards often caused havoc at night, but the cards aren't here, so how dangerous can it be?]
no subject
"Hello. I'm Koishi Komeiji. I'm a satori youkai. You don't have to be scared though. I can't read minds anymore." Her smile only grew, the blue orb hovering in front of her chest drifting a bit closer. "You seem familiar. But my head is every whichway right now so I don't really remember."
no subject
"Um, uh... I'm Sakura Kinomoto."
no subject
She turned in the air some, sitting back a little bit so she wasn't hovering OVER Sakura as much as she had been, the artery over her shoulder twisting into a heart-shape. "What are you doing out so late? Are you sneaking sweets or practicing secret magic or running away? Because you shouldn't run away. It's really not safe. Who knows what kinds of monsters might find you?"
A pause. "Monsters other than me, I mean. I'm not going to hurt you. That would be super rude since you're so nice."
no subject
[She hasn't been successful with finding more info on the school yet.]
"I couldn't sleep, so I went out for a walk. ...Are there really other monsters out here?"
no subject
She drifted back down. "And I know Miss White personally so I can get you in contact with her easily, okay? She always loves having new students."
Koishi drifted a little closer, rummaging around in her pocket and pulling out a draw string bag. She withdrew a single piece of candy from it wrapped in wax paper. "Here. My sister made these. Please don't be so nervous. As long as I'm around, you're safe, okay? But be more careful next time and walk where people know you are and can see you."
no subject
"If you could help me meet Miss White, that would be nice."
[Sakura accepted the piece of candy. A satori that makes candy? She'll probably wait...]
"I'll be okay. The Home for Children is close by."
no subject
"I can absolutely help you get in contact with Miss White." She patted her sides before reaching into her other pocket and pulling out her phone. "Here. I have her phone number..." The youkai fiddled with the device for a few moments before offering it to Sakura. On the screen was a picture of a stern looking woman labeled 'Satsuki Kiryuin' with her number right below it.
"Miss White seems really scary but she's actually really nice. She's just stern and takes everything way too seriously. So don't let her intimidate you, okay?"

However he had to take a rest break and currently he was walking home to take a nap. Yawning slightly he was just wanting to go to bed and sleep for the next year if possible.
However he soon found himself stopping instead, seeing a familiar face.]
You should be in bed.
no subject
"...I couldn't sleep. So I came out here to clear my head before trying to sleep again."
no subject
[He figured it was one of many reasons why someone might not sleep well.]
no subject
[She isn't sure what kind of story she'll tell if asked what the dream is about.]
"What are you doing out at this hour? If you don't mind me asking."
no subject
[Which he was sure he had been doing since he actually became Guardian. He was starting to wonder if the job was really worth it. He could help out in other ways, like the Rangers he put together.]
But for now I think I'll stick around until you are ready to go back to where you live. Just in case.
no subject
[She began to make the swing move slightly. Swaying back and forth.]
no subject
[He was carrying the pokemon with him.]
So I don't really have anyone at home.
no subject
That is until he sees the little girl all alone at night staring at a card. For a moment he mistakes her for a ghost-- if only because that pose and sort of wistfulness is not uncommon.
But no...she is just a girl.
He clears his throat so he won't startle her and approaches.]
Are you lost?
no subject
"No, I'm not lost. I just couldn't sleep, so I thought I'd sit outside for a little while."
no subject
no subject
[The innocent act always works...so far.]
no subject
He blinks at the question]
The card you were holding. Some kind of tarot? It looked nice from where I was standing.
no subject
"Um, oh! Yes! A tarot card, that's what it is! I guess my mind went blank for a moment."
no subject
no subject
[Looks like she managed to dodge a bullet again.]
no subject
Have they worked so far? Are you luckier?
no subject
[Not counting the whole Genessia thing. But even then, it's not that bad.]
"Nothing bad has happened, so that's a good thing."
