13: Routine - Open Action, Multiple Locations (August 7th)
A. Garden Park, Genessia
[ Phew. It's actually harder than she initially thought.
While looking through a magazine weighed down by a single shoe, Adela is on a blanket in garden park doing assorted yoga poses -- whatever she can manage. By the time she's done she flops onto the blanket, looking up at the patches of sky beneath the tree she's under while she takes a break.
Maybe she shouldn't be out and about so soon after the rather unfortunate encounter she had the other day, but at the same time she doesn't want to let that kind of experience rule her life.
... Maybe she'll keep laying down for a bit longer though, it's kind of relaxing and it's cool enough under the tree. No one's bothering her either, so what's the harm? ]
B. Sycamore Cycles, Genessia
[ Of course, there is always work to be done. Even if she has relative freedom with the hours she works, she does still need to do so.
Even if, today, she's working on a rather personal project; a motorcycle for her own use, one that can be functional with one leg. Balance might be a little harder for her, but it's still in the planning stages at least.
Meaning that Adela is writing down notes about how she wants it to work and how to try and help it function properly, entirely focused on her task instead of watching for anyone who might think of dropping by and taking a look at the products sold. ]
C. Docks, Fayren
[ Something else she's seemed to pick up from Smoker is the desire to fish. Or, well, to at least try fishing.
With some diced chum in a bucket next to her, Adela is sitting at the edge of one of the docks (with her chair parked beside her), a simple fishing pole in hand as she just watches the ocean and waits. There really isn't a better place for her to fish at the moment, and although Fayren has lost a lot of its appeal to her she does still like returning to the simpler town from time to time. It's still familiar enough to be a comfort.
The sun's starting to set though, maybe she should head home soon... But, she wants to at least catch something, even if it's too small to eat. That and quiet moments like this are starting to feel harder and harder to come by. Maybe she'll be allowed this at least. ]

[ She can't help wearing a grin as she talks about it, making it clear that at the very least she enjoys her work. ]
It can be difficult, but it is rewarding to continue learning more of this craft each day.

[Although he had done extensive work to get Fenrir to where she currently was. Every repairs and customization had been done with his own hands. There was definitely pride to be felt in that.]
Got any work you can show me? I might be in the market.

[ She indicates some that are on display in the shop area before trying to draw attention back to herself. ]
I am working on one for myself right now actually. One that will be able to fly when it is completed, though right now it is in the planning stages. There is also Smoker's Billower, a unique motorcycle that, so far as I know, only he can actually drive.
[ She seems pretty excited just at the prospect of a flying motorcycle. ]

[He barely glances at the floor models, much more interested in the prospect of a motorcycle that would actually be capable of flight.]
I'm looking for something pretty specific. Like the bike I had back home.

[Finally, his attention turns to one of the displays, looking it over carefully. It was good work, solid and dependable. But definitely not his style.]
Something close to what I have back home. [If they could make a bike that flew, they could definitely make a replica of Fenrir.] It might be easier if I drew it for you.

You rode a motorcycle in your world then?

[Congrats, Adela, you're going to end up with a novel about Fenrir, complete with multiple pictures.]
Yeah. Did most of the work on her myself.

Truly? I did not figure you for the type, but then I suppose most would not assume that of me either.
[ She grins, sitting up a little more straight. ]
Most of the cost will be parts, though there will be labour and assembly cost as well. It is nice that you can give us more to work with than simply some idea of what you want -- not that we cannot work with that, but it is a nice change.
We can also work out a payment plan once you have work, as we do understand that these things can be rather expensive. It does come with the hazard of possibly never receiving the full cost due to the nature of this place, but we manage.

There's a look of amusement crossing his features as he turns his attention back to her.]
Just what kind of type did you figure me as?
[Still, it's nice to know exactly what he would have to do in order to make this happen, although he didn't like the idea of owing someone for work they had done. What if he were taken before it was entirely paid for? They would be out of money with no hope of retrieving it.]
Got that part taken care of.

[ S h r u g. She'll start smiling though, more warm than excited. ]
You found work then? I am happy to hear that.

[Considering all of the things she could have pegged him as, he'll definitely take that answer. He wasn't exactly known for always making the best first impressions. Luckily, most of the friends he made didn't seem to care about it overly much.]
It wasn't too hard. [Finding a second one to actually pay for this project might get a little tricky though.] I'll work on those drawings and bring them to you. Next week sound okay?

[Hope you're prepared for the elaborate drawings he can possible conjure up, Adela.
He offers her another small smile, before turning around and making his way out of the shop.]
