13: Routine - Open Action, Multiple Locations (August 7th)
A. Garden Park, Genessia
[ Phew. It's actually harder than she initially thought.
While looking through a magazine weighed down by a single shoe, Adela is on a blanket in garden park doing assorted yoga poses -- whatever she can manage. By the time she's done she flops onto the blanket, looking up at the patches of sky beneath the tree she's under while she takes a break.
Maybe she shouldn't be out and about so soon after the rather unfortunate encounter she had the other day, but at the same time she doesn't want to let that kind of experience rule her life.
... Maybe she'll keep laying down for a bit longer though, it's kind of relaxing and it's cool enough under the tree. No one's bothering her either, so what's the harm? ]
B. Sycamore Cycles, Genessia
[ Of course, there is always work to be done. Even if she has relative freedom with the hours she works, she does still need to do so.
Even if, today, she's working on a rather personal project; a motorcycle for her own use, one that can be functional with one leg. Balance might be a little harder for her, but it's still in the planning stages at least.
Meaning that Adela is writing down notes about how she wants it to work and how to try and help it function properly, entirely focused on her task instead of watching for anyone who might think of dropping by and taking a look at the products sold. ]
C. Docks, Fayren
[ Something else she's seemed to pick up from Smoker is the desire to fish. Or, well, to at least try fishing.
With some diced chum in a bucket next to her, Adela is sitting at the edge of one of the docks (with her chair parked beside her), a simple fishing pole in hand as she just watches the ocean and waits. There really isn't a better place for her to fish at the moment, and although Fayren has lost a lot of its appeal to her she does still like returning to the simpler town from time to time. It's still familiar enough to be a comfort.
The sun's starting to set though, maybe she should head home soon... But, she wants to at least catch something, even if it's too small to eat. That and quiet moments like this are starting to feel harder and harder to come by. Maybe she'll be allowed this at least. ]

We need to build a boat!

[Yeah, Luffy's drawing out the Super. And making a silly pose of both legs apart, leaning at an angle with his arms together and pointed in the air. Kinda like this.]
no subject
[ Just to clarify, though it's really really hard to keep herself from giggling at the pose because honestly. What a silly person Luffy is... ]
no subject
[Honestly he seems too much like a robot. It was hard to tell.]
He's pretty cool though.
no subject
[ She'll nod to him. ]
I do not know how to build a ship either though, so unless we borrow one I am afraid we would be out of luck there.
no subject
[Though he does shrug at the lack of ship building knowledge.]
Let's go make a log raft then! Those are easy to do!
[beat.]
Or let's steal a ship.
no subject
[ She shakes her head. ]
I am more open to a raft, but I refuse to go and steal a ship.
no subject
Make sure he doesn't slip you a fart dial. [Well, smell dial filled with fart, but same thing.]
Then let's build a raft! I bet we could catch a big fish out there.
[No plan on how to get it back to shore without them capsizing though.]
no subject
[ Does she want to know? That kind of distracts her from the raft, along with any plans for them to get back to shore once they're out there on said raft and how to not capsize... ]
no subject
[Pretty self explanatory.
Which leaves himi plenty of time to start looking around the docks for any trees he can knock down.]
no subject
[ Sigh. She's going to put herself back in her chair now so that she can at least follow Luffy from the docks. ]
So dials can do things like contain smells?
no subject
[Dials were really weird.]
Yeah. They can do things like hold attacks, or store water, or fire. Crazy things. Nami, my nakama's weapon is made using the dials.
[He's got no axe, but with freaky strength like him, it'll be easy enough to grab and pluck up the tree from the ground. Though he has to grunt and really exert himself to do it.]
no subject
She's staring and completely silent because holy... ]
no subject
Hey, do you have anything to lash the logs together?
[Or maybe cut the branches off the tree so they can be tied more easily perhaps.]
no subject
[ Still kinda brain broken because Luffy how ]
no subject
[He's just going to go back and sit next to you again. Seriously though, for such a skinny-looking guy, how does he do that?
Probably because he's strong enough to punt people through buildings.]
no subject
She sighs, finally just laughing before looking to him and leaning forward. ]
I will be sure to be better prepared for it. Even if we had some sheet metal we could make something that would work. Maybe we should just catch a lot, or only snack on the few that we catch before having a proper dinner later?
no subject
[Luffy and carpentry does not go hand in hand....though Luffy and many things don't go hand in hand.]
Yeah we can totally have dinner! I can go find us some meat too!
[There's plenty of land to go hunting. And who cares who it belongs to he's a pirate!]
no subject
[ In the meantime, back to fishing! ]
no subject
[He's not dwelling on it long. If they don't have it they don't have it. So back to fishing it is!, even if he sits precariously on one of the edges of the dock again.]
