[Charles is sitting at a table in what is clearly one of the rooms at the Amagi Inn, sipping from a cup, but the angle doesn't afford one a view of what liquid he may be drinking, only that the cup is steaming.]

I don't recall subscribing to the Newspaper, though knowing one exists is fortunate. I find it interesting the political structure of this place openly employs the use of bounty hunters to shore up at least some of its ne'er do wells. While the practice of hunting bounties isn't illegal in my own world, it isn't precisely advertised in the local paper, as it were.

[He waves a hand as though dismissing his own derailed train of thought.]

Be that as it may, it's come to my attention, while rather comfortable, the Amagi Inn will not, after all, suffice as a long-term arrangement. Do any of you know of an apartment complex or similar in any of the cities which would allow the installation of storm shutters?

[He pauses here, as though allowing a moment to pass before changing subjects again.]

Also, I've taken a position at the Genessia Scientific Research Foundation. My areas of expertise lie in Xenobiology and Archaeology, and I hope to assist with these fields in understanding what it is that attracts this place to us precisely. While I have had at least one assume this means I specialize in the biology of foreigners, I would clarify that I specialize in the unique biologies of non-humans. Werewolves, Fae, vampires, imps, ad infinatum. I've also more than dabbled in the medical sciences, and would like to offer my services to anyone who may feel their own biology is too...unique to trust to a mundane physician. My only stipulation is that our appointments be restricted to night hours.

I'm Crystal and while I don't often contact others I'm a curious enough about your background to ask. I'm a avid fan of archaeology, history and tales often forgotten. Does your study in that field focus around non-humans or the world at large. If it is the world I wonder what sort of world you come from.

I've found many here who come from different versions of Earth as well as other more unique worlds.

To an extent. I've served as a field surgeon in times of war, but I've much more experience with anatomy post-mortem, if you will.

That being said, my dear Azalea, I will do my able best, should the need arise.

Post-mortem...does that mean after they've died? You can use that experience to help the living...right?

Yes. Are you familiar with the practice of dissection? I am a biologist, primarily. Autopsy is not unknown to me. Knowing how one died does grant a certain knowledge of what can kill a being.

There are many different apartments one can use. With shutters, I believe you would need to ask so I cannot give you exacts as that is a questions I've not come across before.

It's fine. it's not the first time it's actually happened. When it happens to me, since I live at the inn, windows get broken.

Because "really good blinds" aren't going to keep a paper from breaking my window. I work nights, and I'd rather not be woken by sun.

So it's about the newspaper boy. I find if he doesn't break a window he tends to break something else of yours. I've been lucky to not really have it happen much.

As for nights they have those black out blinds around.

I've never heard of a half-demon, but I have dealt with the hosts of demons.

The GSRF is a good choice. That place was understaffed last I heard. I'm liking the sound of your skill set. Something in particular draw you to those lines of work or is it a natural inclination thing? No idea on the storm shutters situation.
