Apology [Video]
Hoo boy, this was gonna suck. Ted felt like a dejected jackass, and so he was. His conscience ate at him until he ran out of excuses, and so he resolved to take one on the chin and suffer the scorn, however deserved, of The World. Might as well get the practice; he gets the feeling he'll be doing this sort of thing a lot. He'd try and keep this frank and short.
A confession to make, everyone. I'm Ted, and I'm the so-called 'Vigilante' that gave trouble a week or two ago. I apologize for being quarrelsome, as well as for any mischief made. Especially to Fai, to whom I spoke much evil. For what it's worth, any bounties reigned in or crime stopped during that stunt were done according to lawful practice, as much as any bounty hunter would do. Again, please forgive my duplicity. If recompense can be made or law need subjection, I'll try to obey.

[He knew his intentions were good; he had done it for Everglade's sake, though it didn't appear to amount to much. No new investigations were carried out, no more attention was paid, no new bounties were cleared; or else, if they were, they were just as easily attributable to other forces. All he knew for sure is that strife was made, which the city had more than enough of.]
Yes...and I cannot answer the second.

[He looked overjoyed at the news, but then a moment later a slight disappointed expression crossed his face.]
What week hope.
[He sighed deeply, but then moved on for the moment.]
This isn't really surprising, not surprising at all. Though I suppose it's nice not needing to even have a trial to figure out the culprit. Not that there was a murder or anything to warrant such a thing.
But.
[he sighed again.]
Why go through such effort to not even be committed to it? It's a waste of everyone's time for no reason. It's so... average. Bellow average even.
Though now you have me curious...what was it that got you to apologize?
Re: [Video]
I cannot answer meaningless questions. As for that, a verse recommending living, as much as possible, peace with all men.
[In other words, if Everglade needed a bloodbath, there's no need to make such a fuss about it.]
[Easy to say when you're...someone like Ted.]
Fine. I don't know what happened, but by your creed, I hope you've learned your lesson.

[WHAT'S IN THE AIR, GENESSIA?! Why are most of the people here so nice and docile?
Katze can't help but groan audibly.]
I was gonna make a buck hunting your ass down for that other guy.
[The androgynous alien means 'Fai'. Miss/Mister Pink here was thinking of hunting this so-called vigilante down for a profit.]
Dammit! YOU SUCK!
[The concerned Father paused, trying to think of the right thing to say. There was a pause because he's thinking of the right words]
I think you paid your public the apology and dues they deserved. People pay their debts and due time after time. So you're not alone.
So my question is, what are you going to do now? For the future?
Re: [Video/private]
[BUTCHER THEM ALL LIKE PIGS]Mm...I've been considering. The mission I've been tasked on this world, long ago, is to protect everyone 'regardless of the nature of their souls'. But I don't know if a souls' nature can be disregarded much longer. I should like to save everyone, both body and soul. Heh, I've had far more luck with the former than the latter. I was sort of hoping you might assist the other, but the faith...it's much rarer than I ever imagined. If there's no others, I might have to start...preaching. [He sounds a little timid, for once. Not a career path he ever considered.]
Preaching. Not a bad career path, but only those with the strong will of God's faithful can do that. And you sound tired, Ted. You can tell the Truth for so long, but in the end, it's going to fall on deaf's ears.
I want to assist, I really do. Open the door. I have the keys. But only when the right time shows an opportunity.
Right now, you can't help those who are stubborn in their ways.
Re: [Video/private]
[Ted sighed. He wasn't in the mood of a bold bearer of the Word, owing to his contrite spirit.]
Suppose I've got an inauspicious start, eh? If I'm the first they'll hear of Christ, Christ might look pretty sorry. But what else is there, Father? The faith, as far as I know, has never been seriously spread. Nobody to my knowledge has tried. [And Ted so often found himself as, not the most skilled or most qualified, but the only one in the world who would try something. A pioneer, and a clumsy one. Something about the wrong person at the right time?]
Is that why you don't evangelize, Father? Expectation of futility?

Helping Everglade or whatever would have gone a lot smoother if you had just stepped down and cleaned the gutters out yourself. Leave the superhero stuff to the professionals, buddy. It ends better that way.
Re: [text]
Something you'd know a lot about, eh Iron Man? How do the professionals get to be so, anyway?
[text]
[ Who had even told Ted that? Whatever. ]
Not starting the way you did helps.
Re: [text]
Oh come on, no stories about when you were but a fledgling caped crusader? I'd like to hear the tales of Iron Boy.

...what the Hell are you doing, Ted?
Re: video;
Heh, you're a detective, Ronan. What does it look like?

[He shakes his head.]
Why, Ted? Why this?

[After his own conversation with Fai.... he kind of guessed as much, but he still wasn't going to take it as fact without proof.]
[Still, he can't even feign surprise, but rather, he's genuinely curious.]
