 [Danny usually tried to keep his ghost self away from the network. He also usually tried to stay far, far away from Genessia politics.

But with everything that had been going on recently, he kind of felt like he had to say something.]

[He frowns into the video feed and pushes back his hair, ignoring the way  he was faintly glowing even in the daylight.]

I don't know everything that's going on in Everglade. Me?  I've just been going out at night trying to keep anyone from getting hurt. Ghost, Supernatural Creature or Human.

But can we all just stop?  Can't we just try talking things out for once? I mean, I can only really speak for ghosts, but can't we just quit with attacking each other? Can't we just try talking things out for once? There has to be some way to work things out that works for everyone.

[His expression sours.] And for the record?  Talking things out does not involve random vigilantes showing up and trying to make me "move on'". Do you have any idea how irritating that is?

How nice. He told me that his charter thing said I had to leave whether I liked it or not.

[Which Danny really hoped whatever make ghosts move on power he had didn't work on him. ]

[Airy doesn't really understand. She still believes that Joseph is nice but then she doesn't think that Danny would make that up either.]

Is that like a rule book?

No clue. He showed me some paper with glowing writing, but from the say it talked he sounded like he was getting orders from it. Personally I'm planning on staying far, far away from him from now on.

[Danny completely believed that Joseph could be a perfectly nice guy when it didn't involved ghosts. That's the way it was back home too Hey, he'd dated a girl who was trying to destroy his ghost half. He still thought she was really cool. And his parents were awesome when they weren't discussing the best ways to rip his ghost side apart and experiment on the remains. ]

That sounds really creepy.

[Danny has helped Airy and never asked anything in return. She can't help but want to leap to his defense but it's hard to believe that Joseph would do that... maybe it is this piece of paper. If she gets it then she can help?]

The glowing paper, I mean... it sounds like...

[She wiggles her fingers as if that makes her point.]

[He shrugs. ]

Could be anything. Most things associated with ghosts tend to glow.

Is that why you glow?

Sort of. I glow because I'm made out of ectoplasm. Ectoplasmic energy, you know?

[If he looks close enough he can see the smoke rising from Airy's head.]

What is extoplasm?

Ectoplasm. [He claps his hands together and then draws them apart, revealing a brightly luminous ball of translucent green energy between his palms.]

Some people call it ghost energy.

Like spirit energy?

[It might be the same thing?]

Sorry? What's spirit energy?

It's the religious way of looking at the energy of the soul.

[Airy wonders if there are Catholics in his world or other religions but she thinks it'd be rude to ask that.]

Right. I wouldn't know anything about that.

[Because even the most determined members of Amity Park's churches hadn't been willing to put up with his parents eccentricities. Apparently spending their lives trying to rip a hole into the afterlife so they could experiment on ghosts hadn't gone over that well with the local churches. ]

Ah yeah, [She waves her hand.] Don't worry about it. I was just curious.
