[Action] Have Confiance.
[Around a grassy, unpopulated area in the fantasy city of Fayren, Anastasia was alone, with her sword, named Confiance in her right hand and small, undecorated kite shield in her left hand.
The purpose being was she is bored and wanted to get out and burn off the energy she has. So she was here in this empty spot to shadow fence. There was ample shade and the air was cool in her spot, so being active won't bother her.
A down slash, then up slash, a twirl and another up slash, she was a girl who had instruction before. Even so, her steps were often clumsy and her strokes often missed the target in her mind's eye. She was so caught up in her exercise that she, at one point, started collecting mana that formed visible ribbons to cast her destruction magic. But she stopped, realizing that without a proper target, that would only end badly.
Instead, she rested a bit, then returned to her practice swings. Up, down, thrust, side, right spin slash, left spin shield bash and thrust.
Feel free to join this wannabe Warrior Princess.]

Do you hear me speaking to you? [He questions grumpily with a slight growl.] Of course, I have a name but are you worthy to know it?
[The twin-tailed fox lets out a huff.]
...You may call me 'Yukimura', if you wish it. As for what I am, I should ask you---what do you think?
no subject
She tries to match Yukimura with whatever creature she knows exist in her world, or at least her snow-covered kingdom. There was only one that came to mind.]
"You...look like...a giant winter wolf."
no subject
...I suppose that's a compliment. [The creature mutters as it places its paws over its face to block the sunlight. He honestly detests the sun and all of its self-righteous glory. One of the reasons why he's in such a particularly foul mood is because it's daybreak.]
Little girl. [The fox peeks at her from underneath his massive paws.] Where do these winter wolves hail from?
no subject
She was beginning to soften up some upon the question.]
"Winter wolves... They are native of to the Valen Woods in my native homeland, on the world of Nevus."
no subject
I have never heard of such a realm until now and yet I deem myself as all-knowing.
[The fox covers his eyes with its paws again.]
Tell me more about you and your world, child. I'm most curious about those who claim to hail from different realms.
[There's a ulterior motive to all of this chatter that Tsukuyomi refuses to tell. He's trying to soothe his frazzled nerves with a tale or two in order to change back to his true form. That is why he seems insistent to let the girl speak to her heart's content.]

"...My name is Anastasia Kitty Leonheart. I'm the Princess of the Kingdom of Rivera, land of sacred rivers and eternal snowfall. My kingdom is one of six super nations that blanket the world.
For being so close to the Mother Tree, where our God-Queen is said to reside, my people are powerful faith healers. Excluding myself. I was born, instead, with the power of destruction magic."
[She pauses. She wasn't sure if she was somehow boring the creature.]
"Forgive me, but I don't know how much detail you want me to go into. I can tell you more, if you really are interested."
1/2
The Kingdom of Rivera is land of ice and snow. He could imagine the first flakes of frost coating the once grassy fields in an endless white and almost feel the bitter chill that would cling to the branches there. The waters that surround fair Rivera would be frigid and sturdy enough to cross upon careful feet. He could envision great elks traversing the land in search for food as the white wolves hunt in packs of five or greater.
Tsukuyomi could almost see all this from how this princess speaks fondly of her realm. It was enough to make the beast within slumber and allow the man to awaken.
In a hail of blinding white light, the fox changes---]

[Instead of there being an enormous fox laying before here, it's a boy instead. A rather awkward looking youth dressed in white with hints of red here and there. His voice matches that to the great fox from earlier minus the beast-like growl.
He lays there sprawled upon the grass with his eyes closed briefly until he tilts his head to gaze at the princess.]
Please, continue.

The shock and awe passed when she realized the boy had the same voice. At least she was safe from being eaten for now. He seems content with her country for now.]
"...We are made up of eight provinces. Our capital is called Archangel, built upon a island surrounded by our largest river. It's home to many thousands of snow bunnies seeking a haven from predators. Very people friendly. The bunnies will let us brush them for loose fur, to which we use to make clothes."
[A brief pause, trying to figure out how to explain some of this.]
"My people are lovers as much as they are fighters. There is no shortage of seeing couples spending time together in the city square, or seeing knights remaining vigilant against threats to the kingdom, foreign and domestic. We are steeped in history and culture, being home to three of the World Wonders."
no subject
The snow rabbits are well protected and cherished by the masses? [It reminds him briefly of the folklore about the deer in his realm. They're cherished by all and their antlers are often used in various ceremonies. He couldn't make heads or tail as of why but he found it intriguing nonetheless.]
Home of the Three World Wonders? Ah, explain that...
no subject
[Normally, she would lose herself in talking about how cute and smart snow bunnies were. But she was able to control herself this time.]
"Our three wonders... The first one is called the Thermal Glade. It's a jungle inside of a cave of all things. A huge one at that. It's existence is unexplainable, but my people have learned to use the heat that it gives off to keep our roads clean of snow.
The second is the Great Cathedral. It originally served as the seat of power in the ancient past. When my country was first conquered, the invaders tried to erase every trace of our existence, but were somehow unable to destroy the cathedral. It now serves as a gathering point for certain holidays, pilgrimages, royal weddings, funerals and births.
The last and most important to us all is the Great Mother Tree, Pankosmia. It's said to be the throne of the God-Queen of the same name, and said to be a bridge into the spirit world where the other Goddesses reside, maintaining the world's physical state."
no subject
The Great Mother Tree reminds him greatly of Ama-no uki-hashi, the "Floating Bridge of Heaven". This magical bridge links the mortal world to that of the lofty realm of the amatsukami, the gods. The parallels between Anastasia's world and his own are becoming more and more apparent the more she speaks.
The surprise is written across his face.]
Quite the tale. Is the Great Mother Tree an actual tree? A sacred one? If so, then--
[He pauses for a moment as he tries to flesh out his thoughts.]
Bah! Pay no heed to me. I'm merely thinking aloud.
no subject
"Yes, an actual tree. A massive one. It had existed since before recorded history."
[She is curious about what he's thinking about, however.]
no subject
Since before recorded history? Then is it possible that the Great Mother Tree was crafted by your gods and then pieces of it was used to form...a bridge of some kind?
[This is mere speculation on his part but anything else but he has a theory--]
no subject
Like light shining through a prism, perhaps. With the Mother Tree as the prism."
no subject
[He says thoughtfully as he strokes his chin.]
Ama-no uki-hashi, the Floating Bridge of Heaven, is said to be forged out of the wood of an ancient tree of unknown origins.
[Tsukihito lets out another hum as he thinks.]
Such a curious theory that none of us can prove.
no subject
[She listened to Yukimura's description of a spiritual bridge.]
"...Is it possible that many different universes somehow mirror each other?"
no subject
[A humored chuckle escapes the boy as he rises to his feet. He takes a moment to brush the grass off his clothing before turning to Anastasia again.]
A rather riveting thought, no? The idea of every world being somehow linked to each other.
no subject
"Maybe it's even possible to visit those worlds? I would very much like to see my best friend again."
no subject
[He cocks his brow a little in mild surprise.]
How is that possible? Did you meet them here in this world?
no subject
[It was so unfair, after all the promises and plans that they made.]
no subject
[Tsukihito gives the princess a thoughtful look yet again. He didn't expect to learn much about this realm through the experiences of a mere child but this has been quite enlightening.]
If my theory serves correct, you will see your friend once more. That is...unless we can unlock the secrets that binds this realm to the next.
no subject
[If there is any chance at all to see, or even get a one-word message from Princess Sakura again, Anastasia would hang on to that hope.]
no subject
[He can't help but feel a tad sorry for Anastasia. While he honestly enjoys the comforts of being on his own, he doesn't expect this frail girl to feel the same. After all, she's only a child and children ought to have friends.]
There must be others suited enough to befriend the Princess of Rivera, yes? You're simply not looking hard enough.
no subject
[She doubts anyone really wants to be her friend. She sent a call out for help once and no one answered.]
