[A small dragon appears in the video feed, which some may find quite familiar, except that her colors were far different. She also lacks the patterns on her face and frills, but the top of her head appears to have a yellow sparkle to it. On top of that, she looks very, very worried as she listens to the hologram explaining the situation. She studies the strange device in her talons, unaware that it's already broadcasting.]

Oh no...am I really trapped here? Then...Cane and Snowy must be here, too...right? I have to find them...

[They had to be here, since she had been traveling with them just before winding up here. She crawls along the bay on all fours, hoping to avoid any enemies that may be waiting to ambush her. Without Cane and Snowy, she feels much more vulnerable. From the Bay, she takes a random turn, beginning to reluctantly explore this unknown world...]

[Action: Everglade (Evening/Night)]

[Liora has definitely chosen the wrong city to explore. The dark magic she senses here is tremendous, and it makes her extremely uncomfortable. Plus, if Erebus is in this world, he would definitely be in this city. And she does not want to encounter Erebus again...]

[What's worse, she's forgotten the way back to the archway to exit the city. Like the bay, she'll crawl as low as she can to hopefully avoid being spotted. However, with her glittery scales and wings, she'll stick out like a sore thumb in such a dark city...]

[Any City - Day]

[Caelestis had been dreading this day since he arrived here, so he was certainly well aware of it when it finally arrived. He wasn't one to get bent out of shape because of birthdays - he didn't care even though he was in his 30s - but there was one major figure here that was missing that never was before. That was his twin sister, whom he shared every one of his birthdays with. He knew that time didn't flow the same way here as it did at his home, but it was easier to say that they were 33 now rather than trying to figure out the technicalities behind Genessia's time against Celveryia's. He'd always been one to hide his emotions if anything would ever bother him, but this was one case that he couldn't hide very well. It wouldn't take a detective to note that glint of sadness in his eyes that day, even if his expression seemed to be the same stern look he always carried.

In addition to that feeling of loneliness he had without Almarei around, he'd noticed ever since he woke up at the crack of dawn that his eyes weren't quite right. He'd chalked it up to inadequate sleep, something he was quite used to as it was, so he'd thought nothing of it and went about his day. With his vision as it was, he thought it best to skip his magic training in the Fayren fields for the day and chose to explore the other cities. But between being absent minded and his eyesight, he found himself nearly bumping into people a few times, much to his annoyance. It wasn't their fault, it was his, so he made a point to stop and tip his hat, apologetically bowing his head slightly to the person.]

I beg your pardon.

[At least he had no trouble getting across streets safely. Thankfully.]

[Everglade - Night]

[Once it was coming on sunset, he'd gone to Everglade to serve his duty as a Ranger, but it wouldn't be long into his trek amidst the city when he realized something was very wrong. His vision became worse before eventually, everything faded to black. He would let out a startled cry, collapsing to his knees in the middle of the city streets. At the worst possible time. His right hand covered his eyes, and despite them being wide open, he couldn't see anything.]

What... what the hell kind of magic is this?!

[Stay calm? That's what he would try to do normally, except he's on his knees in the middle of this hellish city, blind and vulnerable for reasons unknown to him. In this state, there was no doubt that he was a sitting duck. He may have magic, but it does little good if he can't see the target and his surroundings... except calling for help is the last thing he wants to have to do.]

[A balmy autumn day in Everglade seems as good a day as any to take on a less life-threatening bounty, and Namur's been eyeballing this one for awhile anyway. It's a good excuse to do some busy work and just be moving around for a few hours. It takes awhile to gather enough hose and find a water source that'd reach all the way up to the roof, but by the time the sun is high he can be found on the roof with a brush broom borrowed from the witch next door. Getting caught up in the breeze with nothing above him but cloud-speckled skies takes him back a few years, before he knew anything about Time Compression or alternate dimensions or whatever the hell they were living in. It's like swabbing the deck in a lot of ways- with the occasional ghostly rodent skittering out of Miss Tilly's haunted gutters. But he's got an enchanted broom, so it works plenty fine for launching the incorporeal creatures off the roof and back into the nearby haunted woods. Feeling rather fine, Namur begins to sing, sweeping out the gutters in perfect rhythm- though his voice leaves a lot to be desired. In fact, it's so bad he catches the attention of a couple of mischievous imps who, upon finding his communicator, decide that if they have to suffer, so does everyone else.]

[Caelestis had been in this place for a short while now, but had never made himself known to the public over the network. He decides to change that only after seeing the various reactions to the recent news articles regarding Everglade, to which he couldn't help but roll his eyes. Perhaps it was because he hadn't been there long enough to fully grasp the situation, but it almost seemed like people only care about Everglade now that there's a target painted on someone's back thanks to the newspaper. So, a uniformed man with short blue hair, feathers on the side of his head and small gold feather markings on his face appears on the network, his posture giving him a very militaristic air.]

Many people seem to be quick to grabbing for pitchforks now that Everglade's mysterious 'vigilante' had a name and a face placed on him recently. They aim to damn him, and seem to choose to do so by becoming a vigilante just as he.

Instead of wasting your efforts hunting one man, I would advise those of you with that mentality to shift your intentions to considering enlisting with the Everglade Rangers. That is, if it's truly the city that you're wishing to aid and not running on the sole desire to hunt a man down with your own self-proclaimed brand of 'justice' or whatever reasoning you choose for it is. Speaking solely as a Ranger, we could use all the help we can get in order to keep the place safe while maintaining balance.

[Because honestly, this is ridiculous. Everyone is up in arms about one guy while there's so many other issues present in the city. He has no idea how the Guardian and Deputy are capable of coping with this ludicrous mindset of others.]

That said, if there are others who seek aid in traversing through Everglade safely after nightfall, I am here to offer my aid at any time.

[He tips his hat slightly, and moves on to a different subject. He doesn't wish for this message solely to be business oriented.]

And perhaps I could be directed to an establishment that serves fine teas in any of the cities? I have been so focused with business and securing employment since my arrival here that I'm afraid I haven't had the chance to properly seek out such places for leisure.

[And he needs a good cup of tea so he can think better. This is very important information.]

[Around a grassy, unpopulated area in the fantasy city of Fayren, Anastasia was alone, with her sword, named Confiance in her right hand and small, undecorated kite shield in her left hand.

The purpose being was she is bored and wanted to get out and burn off the energy she has. So she was here in this empty spot to shadow fence. There was ample shade and the air was cool in her spot, so being active won't bother her.

A down slash, then up slash, a twirl and another up slash, she was a girl who had instruction before. Even so, her steps were often clumsy and her strokes often missed the target in her mind's eye. She was so caught up in her exercise that she, at one point, started collecting mana that formed visible ribbons to cast her destruction magic. But she stopped, realizing that without a proper target, that would only end badly.

Instead, she rested a bit, then returned to her practice swings. Up, down, thrust, side, right spin slash, left spin shield bash and thrust.

Feel free to join this wannabe Warrior Princess.]

Such an odd realm.

[A sound of distaste leaves Tsukihito one he glances down to the strange device he found when he first awoke. It looked something like a black stone to him. The surface was smooth and shiny much like jade but dark as opal. He held onto this awkward contraption after meeting with the woman by the pier.

The woman in white explained meticulously how to work this alleged communicator but Tsukihito has yet to try.

That is until now.]

Ah? [In a sudden flash, there's a pair of crimson eyes peeking into the screen.] It seems to be...working.

[There's an awkward pause as the boy (wait, is it a boy? Such a child-like face) shifts the camera a little. Besides his face and the tall fox-like ears upon his head, there's not much to see here. However, an acute onlooker might be able to spot the Guardian Pagoda in the distance.

The youth is clearly in Fayren.]

Leaves blowing in the wind, a traveler lost in a city made of wood.

[A quiet sigh leaves him as he carelessly tosses the communicator away in a fit of silent rage. The device thankfully doesn't break from the fall but the screen is a tad scuffed up now.

It keeps recording but there's nothing else to see other than the darkening sky.]

[Fai was still a little peeved off after a talk with the so called vigilante so he knew talking to people face to face would not be good right now. Besides he knew texting was quicker when one was busy like he currently was. He had just arrested a group and had just finished questioning them after all.]

As some of you might have noticed that as so called vigilante speak a short while ago. I on the other hand believe that he doesn't want what's actually best for Everglade itself and more wants Everglade to fit his own image.

From my talk with him, he hit a major topic that pissed me off. I spoke about a rule, not the night time one, but one done by the previous Guardian. He made a ban on necromancy, a thing many people in Everglade do as a living. It's something they have known their whole life. It had left many people without work, homes or food. So the natives started to rebel against the rule.

So what do you think this vigilante told me when I brought up this subject? 'Worst thing that happened with Ted was a disgruntled civil rights group and some angry news articles.' To me this line alone tells me a lot and why I believe this coward doesn't want what's best for Everglade and instead wants what he thinks is best for them.

He doesn't care that people came together because of something that is apart of there culture before we ever got here, he doesn't care for the people at all. This is why I ask this. If anyone believes they know who the guy is and sees him in Everglade. Please inform me.

He is more than likely a huge threat, rather than a help to Everglade.
