[After listening to the hologram, Aya walked about the vicinity of The Bay, just to make sure all of this was real. Anyone who spots him could see that he's annoyed, and that he was holding a sheathed katana in his hand. It doesn't help that he's clad in all black, including a black trench coat. He looks suspicious, but he's not doing anything violent or out of the ordinary.]

['Is this just another mind trick of Schuldig's?' He hadn't seen him in a while, but that doesn't mean he wouldn't pop up and have fun at his expense. Aya walks the streets cautiously, keeping his eyes open for any hidden enemies.]

[Eventually, he stops and takes out the communication device he found in the box. It doesn't look difficult to use, but he wonders who would give him such a thing if they've been taken against their will? He can't help but think that they want him to develop Stockholm Syndrome or something.]

[The feed opens with a redhead with deep purple eyes that aren't as inviting as one would think they should be. He still looks annoyed, by the way.]

Are we really supposed to be complacent when given money and a phone?

[He was very close to just getting rid of everything in suspicion, but decided against it. Better to use whatever the enemy gives him against them. He at least notices other broadcasts and sees that he may not be alone.]

I know it doesn't seem much...but it's enough to feed you and clothe you. There's shelter too, so you'll have a room to stay in. It's not too bad here, once you get into the swing of things...

About a month or so, which means I'm pretty new here in comparison to others.

I don't know many people too well to say, but it looks like some people have really settled here, but there are others aren't so pleased with their situation.

Well, you're in a lovely new world with many things to see, do, and best of all, people to meet. You've also been given a tidy sum for even less than a song. And if there was any trouble from where you've come, you've been given something like a reprieve. There's much to be pleased about!

[He doesn't care much for any of that. If he wanted a reprieve, he'd never have taken the mission he just got pulled out of. Whomever it was that kidnapped him isn't doing any favors.]

It seems pretty peaceful around here. No riots. No violence. It doesn't really give me the notion that people are fighting to find their way back.

There was a guy not to long ago who kidnapped a bunch of people and tortured them and posted a video so we could all see it too.
